SIRE INSPECTION REPORT REQUIREMENT From 1 January 2012, when a vessel is proposed for BP employment, unless otherwise notified, the vessel must have: a) a current SIRE inspection report i.e., one that is less than 6 months old; and b) a BP SIRE inspection report that is less than 24 months for vessels that are less than 15 years old; or c) a BP SIRE inspection report that is less than 12 months for vessels that are older than 15 years old.

How do we look at a SIRE report

What is in a SIRE report? A report with a factual record of the vessel’s condition and standard of operation at the time of the inspection and, in turn, allow an assessment of the risk that use of the vessel might pose. therefore . . .
