HUONGNGUYEN TEA & COFFEE CO,. LTD. Trading company in the field of manufacturing and processing the beverage. But I really loves and wants in the market developing. So I have chosen to practice in the Sales Department of the company. Ending time practice, I learned and draw lessons, useful skills, are summarized in the this internship report. I sincerely thank the schools and the Faculty of Foreign Language of Ton Duc Thang University, and sincerely thank HUONG NGUYEN Tea & Coffee Co,Ltd has facilitated me during practice, as well as providing data to help me finish this intership report. Introduction: 1. Preface:

The purpose of this report is to explain what I did and learnt during my internship period with Huongnguyen Tea & Cofee Co,.Ltd. The report concentrates on my daily III

activities, working environment, experiences and shortcomings that I encountered with working process. 2. Huongnguyen Tea & Coffee Producing – Comercial – Services Co,.Ltd. Huongnguyen Tea & Coffee Producing – Comercial – Services Co,.Ltd (Huongnguyen Tea & Coffee Co,.) is located at 59/40 Le Duc Tho street, 13 ward, Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh city. Its business has been covering the market of production and process coffee provider for 4 years. Beginning with only 5 office staff and the start – up capital $50,000. The company size has now been increased over four times comparing with the beginning in terms of quantity (over 20 office staff) and quality. Huongnguyen Tea & Coffee Co,. has its branch offices in Phu Quoc, Quang Ninh, Hue, Hai Phong. Huongnguyen Tea & Coffee Co. Ltd profile 3. Tasks as an market agent at Huongnguyen Tea & Coffee Co. As a training marketing agent, I was working in Sales Department under the supervision of Mrs Nguyen Thi Thuy, Accounting Manager. In theory, I am supposed to do the Saling- Advertising documentations, arrange Customs Declarations, Fingding market… In practice, I ussually go to research the market, find to customers, develop products, understanding of customer needs. Searching for potential customers.

II.

Description of internship

I have learnt a lot from this internship period. I was not only experiencing an office atmosphere but also dealing with many problems raised in working process. Each day, I was reputed to observe and learn form the Sales Department’s staff the way they coped with difficulties in working. After one week, when getting quite familiar with the working process, I was appointed to develop the market. Besides, based on what I have studied at Ton Duc Thang University, I had opportunity to meet one of our customers to discuss our businesses. At my workplace, after 1 month, I had chance to do many kinds of work from the easiest to the hardest:  Photocopying, scanning and faxing papers.  Finding the market.  Researching the market. V

Analysis and Evaluation:

When I first began my internship period, it was unclear to me what my role in the Company was. This was because of enormous tasks and the limitation of my major. However, thanks to the enthusiastic supports from my supervisor as well as my all staff in Sales Department, I was quickly able to understand and had an overview of the whole process field generally. Especially, I gained some valuable experience:  Working as team with the rest of Sales Department’s staff was an experience that I really appreciated for it was through them that I found it more enjoyable and easy to deal with tough issues.  Working in a team to handle projects gives me much morale in working.  Being surrounded by a network of people whose jobs are satisfying customers is something fantastic since it gives me more experience.  Understanding more about real working environment in terms of making decisions, solving problems… in a team is practical to my future job.  Gaining more confidence and agility in working.  Learning how to photocopy, scan and fax papers is useful.  Discovering my own strengths and weaknesses that I have never realized them before amazes me. For example, I find that I can work quite well either in a team or alone. Nevertheless, whenever facing problems, I tend to be overconfused, which may make it more difficult to find possible solutions. There were not many shortcomings since being an intern thanks to the wholehearted instructions of my supervisor, but some unavoidable shortcomings I faced with were:  Because of being inexperienced, in the first time when I was assigned to Orders, I could not meet the deadline.  I needed some time to adapt a working culture at Huongnguyen Tea & Coffee Co.,  When contacting with my customer, I seemed to be unprofessional.  When communicating with customer, I don’t enough confident. VI

Conclusion:

There is a proverb “the more you go, the more you know” which is really applicable to me through my probation time. After 5 weeks interning at Huongnguyen Tea & Coffee Co., although it is not long enough to be professional, I feel that this internship period exposed me to experiences which have significantly altered my perception in marketing field. Besides, I can use what I have been trained from Ton Duc Thang University to assist my intern jobs. However, I also realize my shortcomings; not only in marketing field but also in my major - Business English. Although being well – prepared from Ton Duc Thang University, sometimes I cannot avoid the confusion in dealing with problems. Thanks to this internship, I can see how important my subjects are, especially my major subjects regarding marketing, sales, etc… Indeed, this internship gives me more than I expected.
