FCC Statements This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a Particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: - Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. - Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. - Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. On the bottom of this equipment is a label that contains, among other information, a product identifier of US: 3P7IT00BHA110. If requested, this number must be provided to the telephone company. (2) If this equipment DECT PHONE causes harm to the telephone network, the telephone company will notify you in advance that temporary discontinuance of service may be required. But if advance notice isn’t practical, the telephone company will notify the customer as soon as possible. Also you will be advised of your right to file a complaint with the FCC if you believe it is necessary. (3) The telephone company may make changes in its facilities, equipment, operations or procedures that could affect the operation of the equipment. If this happens, the telephone company will provide advance notice in order for you to make necessary modification to maintain uninterrupted service. (4) If you experience trouble with this equipment, you disconnect it from the network until the problem has been corrected or until you are sure that the equipment is not malfunctioning. The ringer equivalence number (REN) is used to determine how many devices can be connected to your telephone line. In most areas, the sum of the RENs of all devices on any one line should not exceed five (5.0). If too many devices are attached, they may not ring properly. (8) If your home has specially wired alarm equipment connected to the telephone line, ensure the installation of this equipment does not disable alarm equipment, consult your telephone company or a qualified installer.

Product Overview The DHA-110 Internet Phone Recorder is an Internet-enabled answering machine and call recorder for PSTN telephones. All voicemails and recorded calls can be conveniently accessed and downloaded online through D-Life service. E-mail notifications can be sent immediately after a new voicemail or call recording is made, providing you an easy way to find out if you have new messages.

Features Automatically records all incoming and outgoing calls The DHA-110 Internet Phone Recorder can be set to automatically record all incoming and outgoing calls on your phone line through D-Life service. You can easily record important interviews, conference calls, and monitor your children’s phone calls. In addition, there are no cassette tapes to deal with and every recording is saved to D-Link’s secure servers, allowing you to check your recordings from any location. Remote access to voicemails and call recordings A log of all voicemails and call recordings can be easily accessed at d-life.com for convenient viewing and organization. Every voicemail and call recording can be downloaded to free up online storage space. Caller ID is supported within the online log and adds the phone number to each entry to help identify the voicemail or call recording. Notes can also be added to each recording for future reference and organization. Instant e-mail notification of new voicemails and call recordings E-mail notifications are sent immediately after new voicemails and call recordings are made, eliminating the need to call your answering machine to check for messages. Additional e-mail notifications also alert you when your online storage is almost full or completely full, allowing you to download or delete recordings in order to free up space. Easy setup and management Register the DHA-110 Internet Phone Recorder online, plug in the device, and it works. No knowledge of network settings or other setup configuration is needed. You can use a web browser to access all of the device settings through d-life.com, including playback, recording logs, voicemail greeting messages, notifications, and more. Make calls in the event of a power outage If there is a power outage and the DHA-110 Internet Phone Recorder is turned off, you will still be able to use the telephone that is connected to the phone port of the Internet Phone Recorder to make calls, however no calls or voicemail can be recorded due to the lack of power. Voicemail LED This LED blinks if you have new or unread voicemail, and lights solid when the voicemail storage is full.

System LED This LED blinks while connecting to the D-Life service and lights solid when successfully connected.

Call Recording LED This LED blinks if you have a new or unread call recording, and lights solid when the call recording storage is full.

Hardware Overview Back Network Speed LED This LED is off when the connection speed is 10Mbps and lights solid when the connection speed is 100Mbps.

LAN Port Connect the Ethernet cable (RJ-45) to your modem or router.

Network Connection LED This LED lights solid if there is a connection and blinks during activity.

Line Port Connect a phone cable (RJ-11) to your phone line wall outlet.

Reset Button Press the Reset button for less than 10 seconds to restore the Internet Phone Recorder to its original factory default settings. Press for 15 seconds to set a static IP address of 10.1.1.1

Phone Port Connect a phone cable (RJ-11) to a telephone. (optional)

Power Socket Connect the supplied adapter.

Section 2 - Installation

Step 1: Connect Connect to a router

Use the diagram below as a guide, and follow the directions on the next page to connect your device. The DHA-110 Internet Phone Recorder will record calls and take voicemail for every telephone that is connected to the same phone line; it is optional to have a telephone directly plugged into the PHONE port on the Internet Phone Recorder.

Section 2 - Installation

Connect to a router (cont.) Step 1: Connect the Internet Phone Recorder to your phone line

Unplug your original phone’s cable from the wall phone outlet. Plug your original phone’s cable into the PHONE port of the Internet Phone Recorder. Connect the included phone cable to your wall phone outlet. Connect the other end of the included phone cable to the LINE port of the Internet Phone Recorder. Pick up your phone and make sure you hear a dial tone. If you do not have a dial tone, check to make sure your connections are secure, and make sure you have your telephone connected to the PHONE port, and your phone line connected to the LINE port.
