Interactive Notebook Tips: For every interactive reading activity, I have included a title bar to glue on top of the flap book. I made some of the titles with a white fill so that your students can decorate their page and make it their own. For every flap book, students should look for the scissors and glue pictures on the page to know where to cut and glue. Most flap books need to be cut on the solid line and folded on the dotted line. I have included pictures for every interactive reading response in order to show you how to put it together. For some activities, I display the pictures right on my Smart board in order to let my students refer to them while putting their page together.

The way you set up your book is really up to you. The following pages are simply suggestions with pictures of how I have set up my own interactive notebook.
