Install Updates

UPDATES Generating SYSDEF.xml 

Open cmd prompt and point to TAFJ\bin



Now copy the routine to “EB.GET.SYSTEM.DEF.FILE” to the “TAFJ\samples\basic” folder



Now compile the routines using tCompile tCompile TEST.BP EB.GET.SYSTEM.DEF.FILE



Now create an PGM.FILE with the below details, commit and authorize it.



Now run the routine “EB.GET.SYSTEM.DEF.FILE”



Now the update.xml file will be created inside UD folder “F.UPDATES.XML”



Now logon to the tcsp portal in using the below link https://tcsp.temenos.com/Pages/UpdatesPortal.aspx



Hit on Click Here



The updates portal opens



Select “Add System” tab



Browse the .xml file that we have generated and attach it.



On attaching the files there will be an message stating “System Registered Sucessfully”



On sucessful attachment, there will be an new account attached to the list of system.



Select the corresponding updated available for that specific bank and hit download



The updater need to be configured in the TAFJ area

UPDATES INSTALLATION PROCESS System Definition File Creation



Move the attached “EB.GET.SYSTEM.DEF.FILE” to your area.

EB.GET.SYSTEM.DEF.FILE.zip



Compile the routine in the TAFJ environment



Create the PGM.FILE entry for this utility as shown below



Run the utility from the awaiting prompt



Note that system definition file is created in the directory F.UPDATES.XML in UD folder(would be automatically created incase the directory does not exist already)



Ftp this file to the local machine. Login into TCSP portal to download updates. Select T24 and then T24 updates from the portal page. Click the tab “Add System”

Input the system file created in step 6 and click on systems tab.

Select the respective client and click on “select system”

A window with the available updates will pop up as appended below. Select the tab Available updates by product

Select the updates which are to be downloaded for this client.

Uncheck the below updates and then click on the “Download Selected updates” button

Click on download updates icon at the bottom of th page and provide the file save path in the bnk.run/updater/updates



Now download the t24 updater from uni-t and move it to UD folder http://uni-t.temenos.com/product/Pages/Distribution.aspx



Uncomment the service for t24 tafj as shown below in the t24_home/updater/config/updater.xml File. Comment out other services defined that are not used. [tafj_home]\bin\trun.bat t24version [t24_home]\updater\updates\tmp [tafj_home]\bin\t24updater.bat



Place an update in the T24_HOME/updater/updates directory and launch the updater from updater\bin.



Now copy the freshly generated jar files from TAFJ_HOME\Updates\Products to the precompiled path.



The Service BNK/T24.UPDATES has to be run to release the data records of the T24 Updates. The co-responding Batch record BNK/T24.UPDATES should have “T24.UPDATES” entered in the DATA field.

UPDATES ANALYSIS

  

 

Analyze the downloaded updates using T24UpdateAnalyser tool. Copy the T24UpdatesAnalyzer to your local system from the shared path \\maa2fs1\TAMPO1\Old\Old\TAABS\ISB Documentation\ISB 2K15\TOOLS and extract it. Follow the procedure mentioned in the user guide provided within it.

Execute the process, an update file will be available in the desired path. Manually check the post update process listed in the output Excel file and perform the needed tasks.
