Industrial revolution in india : The era of industrial revolution marked a widespread change in the economic setting of the Indian community. With its inception at the 18th and 19th centuries, this phenomenon struggled to shatter the yokes of cultural, social and economic bondages. Even a treatise on the importance of raw materials and the market wouldn’t justify. But where was the reservoir that had all three in abundance? CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION: The Industrial Revolution was a cultural phenomenon that forever influenced people's lives. The growing population in Europe and North America, the impact of improved technology on machinery and mass production, the rise of factories, and the influence of inventions such as the telegraph, the telephone, and the Bessemer Process of strengthening iron ore to steel all played important roles in the Industrial Revolution. The effects ranged from good, in the form of growing cities, individual wealth, and philanthropy; to bad, in the form of child labor, abusive working conditions, and unsanitary living conditions.

Throughout history, there have always been political, economical, social and cultural revolutions. These developments have had complex and long lasting impacts on people's lives; one revolution that has forever changed history is the Industrial Revolution. The term revolution is defined as a drastic and far-reaching change in ways of thinking and behaving. Moreover, it was just that; the Industrial Revolution was a cultural innovation that influenced people's lives forever; a change that was needed and initiated many more modernizations. A cause of the Industrial Revolution was growing population by the mid-1800s the population of Europe and North FOOT America was on a high rise. The rapidly growing cities of the industrial world attracted people of all social classes. Another cause of the Industrial revolution was the growing demand for textiles and other mass-produced goods.
