1) INT INTROD RODUCT UCTION ION Purpose of this method statement is to provide safe working practices at work place in line with the approved Health safety and Environment Plan of Contractor  and Client.

First aid facilities with trained first aider and fire fighter shall be made available.

8) EMERG EMERGENCY ENCY AND RESCU RESCUE E PROCED PROCEDURES URES 

IN CASE OF MAJOR INJURIES Do not panic. Call ambulance and notify emergency team at site. Do not move the injured unless he is in danger. If danger exists, he shall be assessed by a trained and qualified first aider before moving. Use a stretcher Do not crowd around the victim. Do not give anything to eat or drink. Ensure adequate air and lighting. Only trained and qualified first aider shall treat the victim and ensure that his airway is kept clear. Victim shall be transported to hospital in an ambulance. ambulance. Preserve the accident scene for further investigation IN CASE OF FIRE



Never try to extinguish a fire if you are not a train fire fighter. Sound the alarm and notify the emergency controller at site.



Report to the designated Assembly point and follow the evacuation procedures

Clean & Clear the area before starting the job.



Mark the area to be excavated with the presence of Client, Consultant & Main contractor.



The excavation of cutting shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant approved drawings and to the levels, widths, heights show thereon in respect to approved gate level 

The side slopes of cutting & Embankments shall be as per the approved drawing.



While carrying out Deep Excavation at Oil/Water tank area, necessary slopes will be laid.  Also during excavation if we reach water table level, water will be removed locally by approved dewatering system and shoring will be done if required. 

 After Completion Completion of the excavation, level it properly & compact the natural soil minimum of  95% MDD compaction requires.  Finish level shall be recorded in accordance to survey practice and jointly check in the presence of Engineer. 

Fill approved Road base materials of 250 cm thickness with required layer of filling as per  the approv approved ed drawi drawing. ng. Also, Also, compa compact ct the soil soil surfac surface e to obtain obtain minimu minimum m of 98% MDD compaction requires. 

 After the completion of the Compaction same will be offered for inspection for the consultant representative. 

Excavation side slopes shall be protected from collapse, hard barrication shall be provided
