ADVANTAGES OF HYPERMARKET A hypermarket (hyper) is a superstore that stocks and sells a large number of FMCG Have a large number of Footfalls. Business model focusing on high-volume sales. Different brands of merchandise available . Huge size of operations as well . Low profit margins but high sales. Low overheads cost per unit.

DISADVANTAGES OF HYPER MARKETS Huge capital requirement Large space required for operations Lack of personal attention towards customers Resemblance of warehouse rather than a store Huge amounts of overheads Requirement of skilled staff Located only in metros
