How to Unlock an iPhone

What we need from you to unlock your phone. a. To unlock your iPhone, we need to know the IMEI of your phone. b. To get the IMEI of your phone, please go to Settings > General > About.

Please check if the ‘Version’ is 5.0 or above. Now check the IMEI.

d. Then you’ll need to request network unlock on www.three.co.uk/unlock. e. We’ll send you a text message when your unlock request is completed by Apple.

1. Unlocking your iPhone using an active non-Three SIM card or a Wi-Fi connection. Once you’ve received our confirmation text, follow these steps: a. Switch off your iPhone and remove your Three SIM card. b. Make sure your SIM card from the other operator is fully active. Insert the SIM card of your other operator in your iPhone and switch it on. c.

Your phone will start as usual. After around a minute, your phone will restart automatically and take you to the ‘Choose a Network…’ page.

d. If your phone goes to sleep, you can wake it up by tapping the power button at the top. When you do this, you’ll get an activation message - just unlock the screen to continue.

e. From here, you can complete the unlock process by using your available Wi-Fi or active Mobile Connection.

Once you’ve selected your connection method, your iPhone will connect to Apple to complete the activation and unlock process.

g. Once complete, your phone will return to the main screen and your iPhone will be ready to use the SIM card of any network.

h. If you’re still facing any problem while completing the unlock process, connect your phone to iTunes. It would help you unlock your phone.

2. Unlocking your iPhone by connecting to iTunes using a non-Three SIM card. a. Remove the Three SIM card and insert other operators SIM into the iPhone. The phone will operate as normal but will not have any network connectivity. b. Connect the phone to iTunes. c.

If it stops on this display, select another panel and reselect the device display.

d. iTunes will then display accessing iTunes store in the grey panel at the top, before displaying the following unlock confirmation.
