HOW TO SPLIT LCG Based on RSRAN067_-_Cell_Capacity

1. Take your RSRAN067 as usually Remember that LCG splitting is a solution for solving bts fails on HSDPA setup when there is no alarm occurs but the Maximum number of simultaneous HSDPA users reached more than thresholds (usually more than 240 users).

Picture1. RSRAN067_-_Cell_Capacity, Maximum number of simultaneous HSDPA users 2. Login to BTS Manager, then click commissioning To split LCG and modify the configuration, you have to login to BTS Manager then click commissioning part until you see like this page below, please refer to Picture2.

3. Let’s start to split it  Please refer to Picture3 below, you can start to split your LCG configuration with click on the check list box on the left corner (number 1 remarked), then after you calculate the simultaneous HSDPA users you can set the Local Cell Group on red boxed (number 2 reamrked)

5. How to Calculate Next time ya.. , still no have sample site with a real condition that need to split the LCG. 6. Summary 



LCG Split is a solution for solving HSDPA Setup Failures due to BTS (with no active alarm occurs) Split LCG will consume BB SU so, do not forget to calculate your number of BB SU that still available or not, if not available better you should upgrade your system module first.
