1.) DOWNLOAD & UNRAR 2.) OPEN " CDXtract " 3.) GO TO " Virtual Drives " 4.) GO TO " OPEN IMAGE " 5.) TAKE THE " ISO" 6.) GO TO THE BLUE BUTTON " DISC " 7.) TAKE " Convert full disc " 8.) GO TO " SET " BLUE BUTTON Programs --> Destination folders 9.) GO TO " SET " BLUE BUTTON Samples --> Destination folders 10.) Press " CONVERT "

Hi Helges Great post indeed, but ........................... ! I´ve done loads of conversions with CDXtract (AKAIs, GIGAs etc etc) and my experience is that its much better using Kontakt itself for this job! My experience is that CDXtract cannot save (especially GIGAs) all the features that are "inside" the original samples, and then you end up with samples that "looks like" instead of" the "real thing" = conversion not with all features, but pretty much more features than CDXtract can do! - sorry Helges, but this is hard to explain and my english has some limits Buttom-line: Use Kontakt instead of CDXtract cause it brings you pretty much closer to the original ideas with the samples, and gives you the best result! @RobF as I remember u search for the akai files within kontakt's browser the you load into it the from the manu u can choose save as .nki or whatever ...i dont remember very well but its pretty straight forward mate
