Heba a aims to continuously c y improve safety tolerate unsafe performance and ensure safe operating o prractices.
SAFETY PROCEDURE 1. Use personal protective equipment (PPE), (i.e. Head, eye, face, hand, foot protection) respiratory protective equipment, safety belt and life lines. Supervisor shall implement wearing them. 2. Always report any unsafe condition, injury, fire or accident to your superior and report all injuries to company clinic for treatment immediately. 3. Do not start any work without work permit issued by the client. 4. Housekeeping to be carried out after completing the work. 5. Avoid using defective tools / equipments. Use only tolls for its proper purpose. 6. Avoid using Sling to hoist pressured gas cylinders. Use the appropriate and proper carrier for the purpose. 7. Never enter into any drum, tank or any confined space without valid entry permit and depute a safety watchman while working. 8. Never take any acetylene or LPG cylinder inside a confined space under any circumstances. 9. Always keep acetylene cylinder in upright position with safety support. 10. Use proper protective equipments while doing a welding job (i.e. leather gloves, face shield and fire blanket and provide a fire watch standby man. 11. No excavation to be carried out without proper excavation work permit. 12. All excavation area shall be provided with physical hard barricade. 13. None of the vehicles are allowed inside the plant operation areas without vehicle entry permit. 14. All vehicles must comply with traffic rules and regulations in the plant area. 15. In case of fire alarm, stop the job immediately. Switch off all electrical equipment. If unloading is going on by a crane, lower down the road, stop the crane, evacuate the area and go to the safe assembly point. 16. In case of fire or vapor cloud release from other neighboring plants, check the wind direction by wind socks and move to safe assembly point across the wind direction.

17. At safe assembly point, supervisor will do head count and report to shift supervisor for any missing personnel. 18. Avoid using defective and broken ladder on site. 19. Ladder must not be placed more than a quarter of the length and must be raised at least 3 feet above the place landing. (Ratio is 4:1) 20. Use full body harness while working at elevated location. 21. All scaffoldings must be inspected and tagged out by responsible person. 22. All moving equipments on site must be of good working condition (i.e. welding machines, generators and vehicles with fire extinguishers). 23. Do not use any company facilities without written permission or work permit. 24. Do not use compressed air for cleaning your clothes or part of your body. 25. No smoking inside the plant area. Look for a designated smoking shelter. 26. Photography is prohibited on site. 27. Use our company logo on your helmet. 28. Rigger must use PPE (Personnel Protection Equipment) yellow rigging jacket or safety vest on job site. 29. If radiography is required, follow the standard radiography procedure. 30. Isolate all elevated work area and mobile crane operating area. 31. Drinking and eating is prohibited in the plant. Use the designated area for the purpose. 32. Do not use dark glasses during night operation. 33. Use designated walkways. Shortcuts or non-designated pathways are prohibited. 34. Only Saudi Government issued driving license are valid inside the plant area. 35. In temporary electric supply, use GFCI or Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. Avoid Splicing. 36. Use adequate fire protection in storage or flammable materials. 37. Use one fire extinguisher for each welding machine / generator.

38. All heavy equipment must have a reverse alarm. 39. To protect from heat stress, drink plenty of water. 40. All unsafe acts and conditions must be discussed during safety meeting. 41. Work permit receiver training shall be obtained. 42. All lifting equipments have to be inspected before each use. 43. Use adequate and suitable safety/warning signs, cordon tapes, portable barricades warning lights and protective equipments at jobsite to protect the safety of the company and public and to prevent damage to property.
