Introduction This book follows on from two earlier books entitled: •

Reading Guitar Music | Reading the Spaces 1

Reading Guitar Music For Beginners | Reading the Lines2

The purpose of these books were to enable you to: •

identify notes on the spaces , below, in and above the stave

identify notes on the lines, below, in and above the stave

identify notes on guitar tab, below, in and above the stave

The main objective is for you to be able to: •

identify any note below, in and above the stave at sight

locate that note on your fingerboard (with no looking or fast looking) and

play that note on sight with the correct finger

This book extends your knowledge by: •

using the concept of triad

writing triads below, in and above the stave

writing triads on the tab

learning the concept of the two octave staircase with a three octave arpeggio

This book teaches nine ways to: •

write triads in the spaces through nine different staircases

tab triads in the spaces through nine different staircases

sight read triads in the spaces through nine different staircases

This book trains you to have a detailed knowledge of the fingerboard, tab and stave Which makes reading music on guitar by sight just a matter of time. For you. Congratulations! Congratulations! You now know: • •

ONE way to stave (write) the Grand SPACE NOTE Arpeggio and NINE ways to tab this Grand SPACE NOTES Arpeggio

from E below the Stave to F above the stave. You can do all this stuff with a pencil. Even better! What you can do with a pencil you can do with your speech. Keep talking to yourself about every note and every tab you wrote down in this book. Writing the stuff down lets you capture it. And that's valuable. And important. But if you just write down a language. And don't talk it. You have a dead language. Talk notes to yourself. Stave notes to yourself. Tab notes to yourself. Examples:

Tab for E in the stave on line 1 is D2. A7 and E 12. Tab for C in the stave on space 3 is B1, G5, D10, A13, E19. E is on space 4 below the stave, line 1 in the stave, space 4 in the stave and line 3 above the stave

Talk. Talk. Talk. Talk. Talk. Talk. Talk.

Now You Want to Play The Nine SPACE NOTES Arpeggios That's understandable. But that's another thirty pager or so. Of step by step instructions. That I haven't started to write yet.
