C. Motivation The teacher will show pictures to the students and the students will tell the teacher what they can see in the pictures. D. Presentation The teacher will ask the following question: 1. Have you seen a real pig before?

2. How will you describe the pig that you have seen? The teacher will distribute copies of the reading selection to the students. The teacher will ask the students to read the story. Reading Comprehension: 1. Where are pigs kept?

2. Describe the pigs in our story. 3. Describe Snorty? 4. What did Snorty tell the other pigs to do? 5. What did Snorty do while the pigs slept?

6. What bad thing happened to Snorty? 7. What is the lesson you learned from our story?

The teacher will show the students pictures and will ask the students the following questions: 1. What can you see in the picture? 2. How can you describe the person/object in the picture? E. Lesson Proper The teacher will discuss the following: Synonyms are words having the same or almost the same meaning. Examples: permit – allow small – tiny

silent – quiet big – large

pretty – beautiful sad – lonely

Antonyms are words having opposite meanings. Examples: good – bad

long – short

weak - strong

black – white

fast – slow

sweet – sour

Activity: A. Write another sentence using the synonym of the underlined word. 1. Nilo will tidy up his room later. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------2.
