  What is GOOGLE?  Google  is  an  American  multinational  technology  company  specialized  in  Internet  services  and  products,  for  example:  online  advertising  technologies,  search​ ,  software, hardware, apps, etc.    Who founded Google?  Google  was  founded  by  Larry  Page  and  Sergey  Brin  while  they  were  ​ students  at  Stanford  University.  They  incorporated  Google  as  a  privately  held  company  on  September 4, 1998.  History  Google began  in January  1996  as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin  when they were both students at​  Stanford University​  in​  Stanford, California​ .  While  at  Stanford  in  1996,  Page  and  Brin  began  developing  a  search  engine  they  eventually entitled BackRub  Eventually,  they   changed  the  name  to  Google, originating  from  a  misspelling  of the  word "​ googol​ "  The  domain  name  for  Google  was  registered  on  September  15,  1997 and ​ Google,  Inc  was  established  on  September  7,  1998  in  a  friend's  garage  in  Menlo  Park,  California.  Page  and  Brin hired  their  first employee, Craig Silverstein, who was later  to become Google's Director of Technology.    What is the mission of the company?  Its  mission  statement  from  the  outset  was  "to  organize  the  world's information and  make it universally accessible and useful.  It  processes  over  one  billion  search  requests  and  about  24  petabytes  of  user­generated data each day (as of 2009)

Google Photos   Google Search  YouTube  Hardware  Nexus  Google Glass      Technology and Google Products in Education:  The Internet  and the Technology  has become an important feature  of the life of kids  and  teenagers  (They  are  Digital  Natives).  Internet  is  not  only  an  access  to  entertainment websites, these days there is a wealth of knowledge and information.   The  rapid  and  constant  change  in  technology  is  creating  both  opportunities  and  challenges  for  schools. The  opportunities include access to multimedia content, , the  mobile  computing  devices  that  can  access  to  the  Internet,  the  expanding  of  social  networking tools for learning and professional development, etc  All the resources provided on Internet  are useful for professionals and students.  At the same time, new technology creates challenges for schools.     Youtube in Education:  YouTube  is  the  greatest  video  website.  There  are  about  3  billions  of videos viewed  every  day.  It  plays  a   significant  role  in  the  educational  field  as  many  students,  educators  and  institutions.  There  are  thousands  of  channels  on  YouTube  specially  for education.  This  website  is  a  very  useful tool,  because nowadays we  live  in a world  invaded by  images.  With  Youtube  you  can  learn  by  tutorials,  documentaries, and  also you  can  work  making  videos,  such  as  Draw  my  life,  stop  motion,  short  films,  music videos,  etc.  YouTube  videos  include  pictures,  music,  and  animations  that  transmit  information  in  a   different  way,  which  keep  students  much  more  interested  and  promotes learning.  

Also,  thanks  for  watching  videos,  Educators  can  bring  scientists,  professors  and  experts  into  their  classrooms  to  help  students  learn  from  great  illustrations  and  tutorials.  Youtube is a software where you can share your work to other people and brings you  the possibility to turn your subject into something more fun.  The  website  also  has  a  section  called: Youtube  Education,  that  It’s  an  educational  section  of  YouTube.  Many  professors,  universities  and  educational  institutions  upload educational videos in this section.  We  have to  know  how to  use it properly and consider it drawbacks too. Any tool well  used has its benefits, we only have to motivate our students.     Blogger in Education:  Blogs  are  websites  where  you  can  exchange  opinions,  ideas,  and  attitudes.  Teachers  can  use  a  blog  to  publish  materials  that  the  students can access  to,  and  where the students can make comments and ask questions.  Teachers can also ask their students to create their own blogs for a particular subject  or  several  subjects   and  then  assign  tasks  to  students.  Moreover,  they  can  publish  articles and sharing them with other students.  While  the  students  develop  their  own  blogs,  teachers  can  observe  and monitor  the  student’s  progress,  and  identify  the  learning  needs.  if  you  just  let  students  publish  whatever they like, the use of blog could be out of control, and useless.
