Giant Adj. A person or thing of great size. A person or thing of extraordinary power, significance, or importance: a giant in the field of physics; automotive industry giants. Greek Mythology. One of a race of humanlike beings of enormous strength and stature who were destroyed in battle with the Olympians. A being in folklore or myth similar to one of these beings. Marked by exceptionally great size, magnitude, or power: a giant wave; a giant impact.

WHO Were the Giants?

Beside “sons of God,” Moses wrote that there were giants or nephilim in the earth in those days. Many modernists, who reject the inspiration of Scripture, assume that belief in giants is a relic of past superstitious ages. The present age is supposedly free from superstition! Others, however, assume this historical record teaches that giants or nephilim were the progeny of angels and women. But let’s not assume. Let’s find the facts. Notice what Moses was inspired to write. Long before the flood occurred, giants existed on the earth “and also AFTER THAT, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men...” So the giants were not the progeny of those marriages. They lived before the marriages occurred. The progeny of those marriages were not the giants, but “mighty men, which were of old, men of renown” (Gen. 6:4). Because the Septuagint translates the word nephilim as "giant" -- and the King James Version of the Bible carried this definition through -- the majority of scholars are inclined to believe that these were indeed men of gigantic stature. This is consistent with the only other occurrence of the word in Numbers 13:33, where the returning spies describe themselves as being "grasshoppers" by comparison with the nephilim. The word itself is generally considered to be derived from the verb naphal -- meaning "to fall." From this some so-called experts take a huge leap and interpret nephilim to mean "those fallen from heaven" -in reference to their supposed angelic origins. Thus, according to this line of illogical thinking, the nephilim are thought to be a fantastic race of beings because they are assumed to be the offspring of the mythological marriages described in verse 2 of Genesis 6! Or, extrapolating in the reverse direction, it is argued that the "sons of God" must be angels because the word nephilim means fallen from heaven! In either case no one proposes that Goliath, or the sons of Anak, had angelic forebears -- so WHY suggest it here? Note that the "from heaven" part has to be provided artificially. In fact, the New Hebrew and English Lexicon by Brown, Driver and Briggs provide several definitions, including falling by accident -- by violent death; in prostration -- upon (attack), and others. According to the Bible dictionary Insight on the Scriptures, the word nephilim is defined as follows -"(Neph'i.lim) [Fellers; Those Who Cause [Others] to Fall Down]. This is a transliteration of the Hebrew word nephi.lim', plural in its three occurrences in the Bible. (Ge 6:4; Nu 13:33 [twice]) It evidently stems from the causative form of the Hebrew word na.phal' (fall) as found, for example, in 2 Kings 3:19; 19:7" (Vol. 2, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of NY, Inc. 1988, page 491).

While it is clear that a tribe of tall people lived in those days, they were NOT the offspring of the marriages or liaisons mentioned in verses 2 and 4. The nephilim, as a people, were also violent attackers, invaders and the like -- based on the idea that naphal should be interpreted as "to fall upon." Moses noted that these men lived prior to the flood and also AFTERWARD in the land of Canaan -- which, in itself, indicates that Noah and his family weren't the only ones who made it through the flood. In the antediluvian world the Sethites may well have become warlike as part of their assimilation into the Cainites through the marriages mentioned in Genesis 6:2 and 4 or, perhaps, they were subjugated by tyrants. So one should consider not so much the FACT of the nephilim -- but the EFFECT they may have had on the population. Moses, writing through YEHOVAH's inspiration, is more than likely making a comparison between the influence of the godless (which could include the nephilim) BEFORE the flood and their influence AFTER the flood when the Israelites were trying to occupy the Promised Land. The result in the case of the former was a flood that emptied the land and, in the latter case, YEHOVAH's people were condemned to forty years' wandering in the wilderness. On each of these occasions it seems evident that these fierce warriors of large stature caused the faithful to loose faith through lack of courage -rather than trusting in YEHOVAH God and acting according to His will. It is preferable, we believe, to seek an explanation that takes into account MORE than the mere existence and physical attributes of the giants mentioned in Genesis 6:4. Just like the mere fact of the marriages is NOT the key problem in verse 2 -- but rather the EFFECT of those marriages on those who desire to be faithful to YEHOVAH God -- so also the effect of the tyrannical warrior-type people should be given a SPIRITUAL, rather than wholly physical, interpretation. Startling Evidence Proves Giants Existed

This will come as a surprise -- yes, a shock, to most of you. The remains of those giants and mighty men have been found by geologists and archeologists! Once and for all time, the accusation that Bible history is untrustworthy is disproved. It is religious superstition and evolutionary theory that are the fables! Much of the evidence about pre-flood life can be found in an easy-toread book entitled, Mankind So Far, by William Howells. Although written by an evolutionist, this book contains facts which substantiate the historical account in Genesis. The author did not understand the evidence he found, because he rejected the Bible revelation and invented his own theories. Most every child has heard of the cave-men or the Neanderthals. Far from being sub-men, they were the giants of old. Here is what Howells says of them: “The Neanderthal brain was most positively and definitely not smaller than our own; indeed, and this is rather a bitter pill, it appears to have been perhaps a little larger. The middle-aged man of La Chapelle-auxSaints had a brain whose volume was about 1,625 cubic centimeters, which is a figure that only a fraction of modern European men can match...” (pp. 165-166). “A skull of the Neanderthals has a characteristic and striking form. It is huge and thick. It considerably exceeds that of any modern type both in length and in breadth..." (pp. 166). Far from being “half-way up from the ape,” these giants who roamed the earth possessed a “squat, heavily built physique of great strength”; their “teeth were robust and somewhat larger than ours, but not more primitive” (p. 168). ‘‘...the excellence of their stone working, which was as good as anything which had yet been achieved...” was amazing. Their

characteristic tool was the fist ax”so heavy as to be surprising, for the men of the age were surely not monsters.” (pp. 164, 118). Not monsters? But the facts prove it! The Bible says so. “There were giants in the earth in those days!” They were divided into several races, being scattered over much of Europe, North Africa and parts of Russia. The Bible does not give their specific origin other than they must have been descendants of Adam, the first man (I Cor. 15:45). Genesis 1:9 disproves the possibility that they roamed before the creation of Adam. They appeared in the earth in the days soon after Adam and before the flood -- “in those days.” Undoubtedly they were biological mutations. In Rhodesia, Africa, a skull has been found of the same general type which is “really colossal in size...” (p. 176). The Heidelberg jaw is also immense. The Wajak skulls of the Australian area also have a large brain and heavy bone construction. Few skulls of much the same sort (and date) have come to light in South Africa; the important ones being the Florisbad, Fish, Hock, Boskop, and Springbok Flats crania. They are all old and big. “This is especially true of the enormous Boskop skull (with a capacity of perhaps 1,800 cubic centimeters)” (pp. 191-192). In old river gravels near Bathurst, NSW, Australia, huge stone artifacts -- clubs, pounders, adzes, chisels, knives and hand axes -- all of tremendous weight, lie scattered over a wide area. These weigh anything from 8, 10, 15, to 21 and 25 pounds, implements which only men of tremendous proportions could possibly have made and used. Estimates for the actual size of these men range from 10 to 12 feet tall and over, weighing from 500 to 600 lbs.

Even during David’s time the Bible speaks of giants such as Goliath, who may have measured 10 feet tall, and who carried armor weighing 180 pounds, as well as a spear whose head alone weighed 21 pounds. Goliath had several children who are mentioned in 2 Samuel 21, who were later slain by Abashai and Elhanan. Goliath’s brother had a "spear which was like the staff of a weaver’s beam," and one of his sons "was a man of great stature, that had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number" (2 Samuel 21:20). Near Braytown, on the headwaters of the Tennessee river in the United States, were found some remarkable footprints impressed in what is now solid rock. The tracks included those of a human heel ball thirteen inches wide! The marks clearly showed that the fellow whose stride in that distant day turned to stone had six toes on each foot (Source: Stranger Than Science by Frank Edwards). In the late 1950’s, during road construction in the Euphrates Valley of southeast Turkey, many tombs containing the remains of giants were uncovered. At the sites the leg bones were measured to be 47.24 inches. Joe Taylor, Director of Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum, was commissioned to sculpt the human femur. This giant stood some 14-16 ft tall. Deuteronomy 3:11 states that the bed of Og, king of Bashan, was 9 cubits by 4 cubits (approximately 14 ft long by 6 ft wide). In his book Fossils Facts & Fantasies Joe Taylor cites several accounts of giant human skeletons or depictions being discovered, from Egypt, Italy, Patagonia in Argentina, and the western US. The largest humans in recent history are like Robert Wadlow of Alton, IL (who was just under 9ft tall) who died in 1940.

In 1833, soldiers digging a pit for a powder magazine at Lompock Rancho, California, hacked their way through a layer of cemented gravel and came up with the skeleton of a giant man about twelve feet tall. The skeleton was surrounded by carved shells, huge stone axes, and blocks of porphyry covered with unintelligible symbols. The giant was also noteworthy in still another respect: He had a double row of teeth, both upper and lower. This particular giant, incidentally, bore marked similarity to another, that of a giant man with double rows of teeth whose skeletal remains were dug up on Santa Rosa Island, off the California coast. Subsequent research has shown that he, or his descendants, feasted on the small elephants which once lived on that island and which have vanished like the giants who ate them, countless ages ago. Near Crittenden, Arizona, in 1891, workmen excavating for a commercial building came upon a huge stone sarcophagus eight feet below the surface. The contractor called in expert help, and the sarcophagus was opened to reveal a granite mummy case which had once held the body of a human being more than twelve feet tall -- a human with six toes, according to the carving of the case. But the body had been buried so many thousands of years that it had long since turned to dust. Just another silent witness to the truth of Genesis, which tells us that there were giants in the earth in those days. Did Violence Fill the Earth? The record in Genesis says that YEHOVAH God, in mercy, destroyed the land to save man from himself. Evil and violence filled the land. Archeologists have found proof of that violence. In the Ofnet cave of Bavaria, Germany, “were discovered thirty-three skulls all huddled together in a circle. Their owners had each been killed by a stone ax, and all the heads had been cut off and buried together in this fashion” (Mankind So Far, p. 226). In China the bones of ancients were discovered to have been “split lengthwise in a fashion which no animal can manage, but which has been used by man to get at the marrow of a bone in other times and places” (p. 149). Cannibalism! Many skulls of Neanderthal men show plain evidence of having been opened by chisel-type instruments; having obvious tool marks around the hole in the skull. Had the hole in the skull been caused by a dull instrument, such as a stone axe or bludgeon, it would have been broken and splintered, and crushed inward. But the skulls are intact

except for a fairly neat, round hole. This presents proof of cannibalism, where severed heads were thrown into a fire, and a hole cut into the skull to access the cooked brain inside. Many such skulls, along with other large bones of the human body, have been found in the remains of ancient fire circles. Neanderthal violence is highlighted in a recent report by BBC News Online -"Evidence has emerged to suggest the Neanderthals had a warmongering nature. The early hunter-gatherers got into fights and used weapons, according to the results of a study of a skeleton uncovered in French caves. A crack in the skull of the 36,000-year-old Neanderthal was caused by a sharp tool, say anthropologists. "Scientists are tracing back the origins of sophistication They think another Neanderthal or an early modern human attacked the young adult. The Neanderthal survived but would have had to be nursed by other members of the tribe. The findings indicate that the contemporaries of early modern humans were more sophisticated than their popular "caveman" image suggests. They would have needed social skills and organised networks to take part in armed conflict. It may have been a crucial factor in the evolution of Neanderthal and human behaviour, say scientists in Switzerland and France. "Social skills The evidence comes from a computer-aided reconstruction of the skull of a Neanderthal found near the village of St Cesaire in 1979. Dr Christoph Zollikofer of the University of Zurich and colleagues say a healed cranial fracture shows the Neanderthal was hit by a sharp tool or weapon. 'These findings add to the evidence that Neanderthals used implements not only for hunting and food processing, but also in other behavioural contexts,' they report in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. They say the potential for violence might have spurred the evolution of social behaviour. Neanderthal social groups gave support to their members "Prof. Chris Stringer, Natural History Museum Professor Chris Stringer at the Natural History Museum, London, UK, is an expert on the origins of humans. He says several Neanderthal skeletons showing signs of injury have been uncovered in the past.

But to his knowledge injury by another 'person' can be implicated in only one other find -- a healed wound to a rib on a Neanderthal from Shanidar Cave, Iraq. Professor Stringer told BBC News Online: 'In both these cases the individuals survived long enough for the wound to heal, suggesting that Neanderthal social groups gave support to their members. 'Given that this is one of the most recent Neanderthals known, it is even theoretically possible that the weapon used was wielded by a contemporary Cro-Magnon [earliest anatomically modern human],' he added. 'But it is much more likely that the injury was caused by another Neanderthal.'" (BBC News, April 22, 2002.) Evidence of the Mighty Men of Old In Genesis 6:5 (equivalent to 6:4 in other versions) of the Septuagint translation of the Old Testament, we find the following: "Now the giants were upon the earth in those days; and after that when the sons of God were wont to go in to the daughters of men, they bore children to them, those were the GIANTS of old, the men of renown." Unfortunately, the word "GIANTS" in the last part of the above verse is a translation from the original Greek which, in turn, was a BAD translation from the Hebrew, and should read "mighty ones." There are TWO different Hebrew words involved here: The word "giants" in the first part of the verse is translated from the Hebrew word nephilim, while the word "GIANTS" in the last part of the verse comes from the Hebrew word gibbor -- meaning "mighty one," "valiant man," "warrior" or "tyrant." Explains Kaiser, Davids, Bruce and Brauch -"The word gibborim comes from gibbor, meaning 'a mighty man of valor, strength, wealth or power.' Nimrod, in Genesis 10:8, was such a gibbor. He also was clearly a king in the land of Shinar. Hence the meaning...is NOT 'giants,' but something more like 'princes,' 'aristocrats' or 'great men'" (Hard Sayings of the Bible, InterVarsity Press, Downers Grove, IL. 1996, p. 108). With this in mind, the above verse from the Septuagint should read: "Now the giants [nephilim] were upon the earth in those days; and after that when the sons of God were wont to go in to the daughters of men, they bore children to them, those were the MIGHTY ONES [gibborim] of old, the men of renown."

So the offspring from the union between the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men" were the mighty ones or men of valor -- NOT the nephilim giants! The remains of the mighty men of renown -- men of great ability and exploits -- are quite different from the giants. Here is what Howells has found: “Over such a large population rose rulers of yet unheard-of power, able to construct temples and palaces. And through all this ran knowledge, writing, and mathematics. That was the Bronze Age. Before 3,000 B.C. there arose the Indian cities, Mohenjodaro, Harappa, and others in the Indus Valley, and Kish and the Sumerian Ur in Mesopotamia” (Mankind So Far, p. 230). It is significant that these cities perished by water according to archeologists! But why should people today be so much smaller and less powerful? The answer is found in a statement by Howells on page 226, “There were some groups of people in Egypt and the Near East who were long headed but had the lighter-boned, smaller skulls of men of today.” Noah lived in the Near East. He was the progenitor of some of the nations that exist today. He undoubtedly came from this stock -- the group that did not have the greatest physical strength and stature! YEHOVAH God could use him in His ministry because he was willing to humble himself -- there was nothing humanly great of which he could be proud. The same today. Not many great and mighty in this world are called. They do not yield themselves to the great power of YEHOVAH God. They rely, like the ancients, on their own strength -- never acknowledging that even such strength was given to them by YEHOVAH at birth. Let us take this lesson to heart! Since we have the historical facts in mind, let’s look at the record Moses gave. Who were those “sons of God” who married and reproduced the mighty men? Were those “Sons of God” Angels? People often quote II Peter 2:4 and Jude 6 as proof that the pre-flood sons of YEHOVAH God were angels. Let’s notice what Peter said: “God spared not the angels that sinned, but...delivered them into chains of darkness...AND spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; AND turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes (II Peter 2 : 4-6).

Notice that there are three distinct, three different punishments. YEHOVAH God cast down the angels and degraded them to chains of spiritual darkness before He destroyed the antediluvian world. The punishment of the angels was not at the flood. It was at a prior, a DIFFERENT time. The sin of the angels was not descending to the earth to marry women. They sinned by leaving the earth which was their estate, to rival YEHOVAH God in heaven. They were cast back to the earth (Jude. 6; Isaiah 14:13-14). The interpretation that the "sons of God" were angels is inconsistent both contextually and doctrinally, and the definition is totally unnecessary. The KEY to this passage in Genesis is to determine its relationship to the characteristics of the antediluvian generations described in preceding chapters -- and the ensuing judgment in the form of Noah's flood. As the authors of Hard Sayings of the Bible point out, "Some, however, will appeal to the New Testament passages of 1 Peter 3:18-20, 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 6-7 for further support of the angel theory. But these passages DO NOT say anything about angelic marriages. To argue from the phrase 'in a similar way' in Jude 7 that the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah is the same as the sin of Genesis 6:1-4 CLAIMS TOO MUCH, for the sin of sodomy is not the same thing as marrying a wife from another part of the universe! In fact, 'in a similar way' does not compare the sin of the angels with the sin of the men of Sodom and Gomorrah; instead, it compares the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah with the sins of 'the cities about them' (that is, Admah and Zeboiim; see Deut. 29:23 and Hos. 11:8). Thus the sins of Jude's angels (Jude 6) and the sins of the five cities of the plain (Jude 7) are held up as warnings of the judgment that could come to others" (page 107). Notice, now, the CONTRAST between the descendants of Cain and the descendants of Seth. It can be perceived from their activities that the Cainites possessed the characteristics of cleverness, culture and civilization. Also, by the ungodly behavior of Lamech, they are generally portrayed as earthly, selfish, sensual and not willing to be under YEHOVAH's authority. While there is nothing necessarily wrong with the professions associated with the Cainites, nothing positive is said of them in a spiritual sense. On the other hand, one cannot help but notice the CONTRAST given in Genesis 4 and 5 in regard to Seth. The Sethites were known for their devotion (4:25), consecration (4:26), fellowship (5:22), testimony

(Hebrews 9:5), service (5:29) and RIGHTEOUSNESS (6:8) in the eyes of YEHOVAH God. Therefore, after the generations of Cain and Seth have been outlined in chapters 4 and 5 -- and Genesis 6:2 then speaks of TWO GROUPS OF PEOPLE -- is it not reasonable to conclude that the earlier familial division is being carried on into the later discussion? This being the case, the "sons of God" expression is used in a SPIRITUAL or COVENANTAL sense -- that is, referring to those who possessed characteristics of faithful service to YEHOVAH God. The "daughters of men" however, would then be those of a WORLDLY disposition. Given the CONTRASTING NATURE of the two lines of descendants described above, the "sons of God" were clearly the godly Sethites -- while the "daughters of men" were the worldly, ungodly Cainites. Such a distinction also parallels the Israelites of the Old Covenant and the Christians in the New. The events of the antediluvian world now fall logically into place. While interpreting "sons of God" as angelic beings may at first seem an obvious and attractive option, this view CANNOT be substantiated with regard to the TOTAL biblical teaching on angels. Neither does it provide a satisfactory explanation in the context of the first few chapters of Genesis. Angels Not at Liberty to Marry The wicked angels who followed Satan were in chains of darkness imprisoned by their own folly (Jude 6). Remember, the Bible reveals that angels are created spirits (Hebrews 1:14). They are not mortal flesh like humans. In I Peter 3:19, 20 we read of spirits -- angels -- not human beings, but angels who were imprisoned, bound -- when? “When once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing.” Notice it! Before the flood destroyed the land, while the ark was still under construction, the angels who are spirits, were already imprisoned, “in hell“-- tartaroo -- not at liberty to co-habit with human women! It is a fable that angels were imprisoned as a result of the flood. Not only does Peter disprove the theory that fallen angels were at liberty to marry women, but the Messiah also disproves it. Yeshua said in three places that angels do NOT MARRY. Angels are created spirits and do not reproduce by sexual intercourse or any other means (Luke 20:36; Matthew 22:30; Mark 12:35). Confirm Kaiser, Davids, Bruce and Brauch --

"Nowhere else in Scripture are we told that angels married humans. In fact, our Lord specifically stated that angels DO NOT marry (Mk 12:25). And though the Septuagint translated the expression as being equivalent to 'angels,' it is in fact only the Alexandrian manuscript that does so. The critical edition by Alfred Rahlfs does not reflect the angelic interpretation" (Hard Sayings of the Bible, pages 106-107). Angels cannot co-habit with women and reproduce because angels and humans are two different kinds of beings. YEHOVAH God set laws in motion that each produces after its own kind (Genesis 1). Two different Biblical kinds cannot gender sexually. This is one of the most thoroughly established laws of science. YEHOVAH God did not make it possible for angels to reproduce with human beings. He did not intend to beget angels as His sons (Hebrews 1:5). Beside, nowhere in the Bible do we find that degraded angels have the power to manifest themselves in the form of human beings -- a power now possessed only by righteous angels who serve YEHOVAH God. Originated in Paganism The doctrine that angels married women is not new. It came from garbled heathen traditions. Jewish fables which Paul condemned also contain the same superstitions. Where did they acquire them? From the Babylonians! The Gentiles who once knew the truth, turned it into a lie (Rom. 1:25). They confused the sins of angels, which occurred before Adam’s creation, with the sins of men during the days of Noah, thus producing the garbled tradition that the “gods” had intercourse with women. It was from contact with such Babylonian traditions that the Jews received their fables. See any Biblical encyclopedia for this information. It is time that Christians come out of this Babylonian superstition and believe what the Bible really teaches. The Book of Enoch is given credit by misguided religious "prophets" as the "earliest interpretation" of Genesis 6:1 through 6:5, and the early "Christians" such as Tertullian, Irenaeus, Origen and Clement of Alexandria are supposed to have been influenced by these writings. Even the apostles Jude and Peter are purported to refer to the Book of Enoch as if it was inspired Scripture. Relates Kaiser, Davids, Bruce and Brauch in Hard Sayings of the Bible --

"The pseudepigraphal and noncanonical 1 Enoch, dating from around 200 B.C., claims in 6:1-7:6 that two hundred angels in heaven, under the leadership of Semayaz, noticed that the humans had unusually beautiful daughters. These they desired for themselves, so they took a mutual oath to go down to earth together, and each took a wife. They taught these wives magical medicine, incantations, the cutting of roots and the care of plants. When the women became pregnant, they gave birth to giants that reached three hundred cubits [450 feet!!!]. The giants in turn consumed all the food, thereby arousing the deep hatred of the earthlings. The giants turned to devouring the people along with the birds, wild beasts, reptiles and fish. Then it was that the earth, having had enough of these huge bullies, brought an accusation against them" (InterVarsity Press, Downers Grove, IL. 1996, page 106). However, the validity of Enoch is HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE -- and its interpretation obviously CANNOT be given credence as the inspired Word of YEHOVAH God for the following reasons: 1). While the book may be named after Enoch, it was NOT written by him! In fact, it was probably written by a NUMBER OF PEOPLE in earlyMaccabean to late pre-Christian times. The Book of Enoch is believed to reflect events surrounding the Maccabean revolt -- and was used extensively by the Essenes, as evidenced by the findings at Qumran. 2). Because of the inconsistencies and contradictions that fill the Book of Enoch -- and other pseudepigraphal books -- their canonicity was neither accepted by the New Testament authors nor the early Church Fathers. Jude 14-15 may be a reference to the Book of Enoch and the Assumption of Moses, but the latter cannot be checked because the book no longer exists and its origin is unknown. However, such usage by inspired authors DOES NOT prove the inspiration of non-biblical sources! Some New Testament scholars have noted that Paul quoted from the Greek poets Aratus, Menander and Epimenides -- but this was obviously done for preaching purposes in order to increase his outreach to his audience. It should be noted that neither Paul nor Jude uses the quotes in the manner of "it is written" or "the Scriptures say." In further support of the "angel" explanation, writers who claim to have scholarly expertise quote Jude 6-7 and II Peter 4-5 -- both of which discuss rebellious angels and their consignment to a dark prison until the day of judgment. It is apparent, however, that if Jude and Peter are referring to Genesis 6, it is ONLY on the prior assumption that the latter passage is, in fact, about fallen angels. It is a FACT that these New Testament scriptures NOWHERE refer to angels being involved in earthly marriages and having children. Even if one should suggest that the word "these" in Jude 7 has its precedent in verse 6 (which may not

be a correct interpretation), the passage CLEARLY refers to fornication and homosexuality, whereas Genesis 6:2 refers to PROPER MARRIAGE. Not only that, but other parts of the Book of Enoch DO NOT include the marriage element in the stories surrounding the fall of angels. It is, therefore, INCONSISTENT to say that Jude is attempting to teach doctrine from one part of Enoch while ignoring contradictions in other parts. Peter and Jude are NOT condoning the stories in the Book of Enoch, and "give no credence to these fables of a Jewish Gnosticizing tradition" (Keil and Delitzsch, Biblical Commentary On the Old Testament, 1:131). Note the authors of Hard Sayings of the Bible -"The famous Jewish historian Josephus (born 37 B.C.) also appears to follow this angel theory. He wrote, 'Many angels accompanied with women, and begat sons that proved unjust' (Antiquities 1.3.1). Likewise, the Greek translation of the Bible of the third century B.C. reads 'angels of God' in Genesis 6:2. In spite of the antiquity of the cosmologically mixed races view, there are such OVERWHELMING PROBLEMS with it that it is NOT recommended as the solution to this problem" (page 106). "To allege that 'giants' were the result of such sexual unions," argue Kaiser, Davids, Bruce and Brauch, "is ONCE AGAIN to go beyond any data we possess in Scripture. Did the angels procreate without the use of natural bodies? Or did they already possess natural bodies? Or did they create for themselves natural bodies by the use of some mysterious, intrinsic, but rebellious power? Any and all answers to such questions would be purely speculative. To use extracanonical evidence," they conclude, "such as 1 Enoch as a witness against or even for Scripture would be UNPRECEDENTED" (ibid., p. 107). The True Answer Years after the flood there was recorded for us in the book of Job a description of antediluvian life (Job 22:15-18). Notice what the narrator says! “Hast thou marked the old way which wicked MEN have trodden?” Did you notice it! The scripture says “men,” not angels. Men, human beings, say to YEHOVAH God “Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for them? Yet he filled their houses with good things.” They were self-sufficient, unregenerate human sinners who had no fear of YEHOVAH God. They were like human beings today. They didn’t believe in a flood. But fallen angels fear YEHOVAH God and tremble. They know the just judgment of YEHOVAH against their evil deeds (James 2:29). The angels knew YEHOVAH God would bring a flood.

Now read Genesis 6:3. The “sons of God” took wives, “The ETERNAL said, My spirit shall not always strive with man.” Here again the sons of YEHOVAH God are called “men.” Because the sons of YEHOVAH God lusted after women, YEHOVAH said, “I will destroy man whom I have made from the face of the earth [land]” (verse 7). Not one word about angels! With the outpouring of the flood “all flesh [in the land] died . . . AND EVERY MAN” (Gen. 7:21-23). Attempts to equate Genesis 6:2 with the fall of angels VIOLATES Scripture in every possible way -- apart from the violence done to Jude and Peter! An explanation can be acceptable ONLY if it is logically consistent with the biblical teaching on angels. This is summed up by the following -1). Prior to Genesis 6:1-4, no mention is made of angels -- not even their creation (although this does not mean to say they were not included in the acts of creation in Genesis 1). 2). The Messiah taught (Matthew 22:30, Mark 12:25 and Luke 20:34) that angels NEITHER MARRY NOR ARE GIVEN IN MARRIAGE. Now while they often take on a male form while acting as messengers of YEHOVAH God on Earth, they do NOT function as physical or sexual beings. Angels have been observed to eat (Genesis 18:8 and 19:3), but this is a FAR CRY from breeding! This was obviously for purposes of courtesy rather than for sustenance. It is impossible to imagine how angels could have acquired TOTALLY NEW characteristics merely by virtue of their fall. Interpretations of Genesis 6 aside, there is NO instance of angel/human interbreeding in the Bible. 3). The judgment in Genesis 6:3 refers specifically to MEN -- NOT "sons of God" or angels. It is inconsistent to argue that YEHOVAH God would punish the tempted and not the tempters! If Genesis 6:1-4 is paralleled to chapter 3, one can see that Satan (the tempter) is judged or cursed FIRST, and THEN Adam and Eve (the tempted). For the sentence to be universal, those who are judged must refer to ALL humanity ('adham) in the land -- thereby incorporating BOTH the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men." 4). Angels are NEVER called "sons of God" in Genesis -- or anywhere else in the Pentateuch. 5). The reference to angels as "sons of God" in Job 1:6 is CONTRASTED with Satan. GOOD spiritual beings are thereby contrasted with EVIL spiritual beings -- NOT with earthly beings. Also, it is incongruent to suggest that Satan's minions -- the demons -- should be described as

sons of YEHOVAH God in the same manner as angels are described in Job. As a result, the "sons of 'elohim" comparison between Job and Genesis should NOT be viewed as a direct analogy. 6). The Alexandrine text of the Greek Old Testament (the Septuagint) translates bene-ha'elohim as "angels of God" -- which certainly demonstrates the pervading view of Jews (Judahites) in Alexandria during the third century B.C. However -- and note this carefully -OTHER VERSIONS read "sons of God" in Genesis 6:1-2 while NEARLY ALL versions read "angels of God" in Job 1:6, 2:1 and 38:7. So if any power of definition is ascribed to the Septuagint at all, it would seem to CONTRADICT the claims concerning the consensus of Jewish opinion -some of whom obviously thought that Genesis 6 did NOT refer to angels. 7). Even more serious is the problem of WHY judgment should fall on the humans and on the earth IF the angels of heaven were the cause of the trouble. YEHOVAH God should have flooded heaven -- not earth! The culprits came from above; the women seem to have been doing nothing except being beautiful! Why Called “Sons of God” If you will examine the sixth chapter of Genesis more closely, you will notice that DAUGHTERS were born when the human race began to multiply rapidly (verse 1). Why the mention of daughters ONLY? What about the sons that must have been born? The human race reproduces at least as many males as females. The answer is that the sons are spoken of, but most readers overlook it. Turn to the last verse of Genesis 4 and pick up the real beginning of the account. Over two and one-half centuries had passed since the creation of Adam. What happened? “Then began men to call upon the name of the ETERNAL.” The marginal reading is “then began men to call themselves by the name of the ETERNAL” (Gen. 4: 26). Like people today who profess the Messiah and call themselves Christians, those men of old gave lip service to the ways of YEHOVAH God even though they called themselves by the name of YEHOVAH God! They were the men born before the flood. They were rebellious and unrepentant. What had they done that was evil in YEHOVAH’s sight? Notice it, the males who professed YEHOVAH God, but with whom YEHOVAH would not continue to strive, were the ones who married the “daughters of men.” They persisted in having their own way and married their neighbor’s daughters -- beautiful, but unconverted women -- who led them further astray and into the cares of this world.

Conclusion While Genesis 6:1-4 contains a number of topics that have proved difficult to interpret for many -- and have been outright abused by some -- the TRUE meaning of these verses can be determined by examining the peripheral context and doctrinal principles in both the Old and New Testaments. The latter procedure COMPLETELY ELIMINATES a popular interpretation that claims the "sons of God" were angels -- and refutes another idea that touts the "sons of God" as a class of nobility. Instead, the overall context CLEARLY shows that the "sons of God" and "daughters of men" existed together in the land as opposites, and refer to the righteous Sethites (Genesis 4:26) and the unrighteous and worldly Cainites (4:11) respectively. The unapproved and ill-conceived liaisons or marriages between these two groups (6:2) inevitably led to the total moral breakdown of the existing order in the land (6:5). The exception to this was Noah and his family (6:8). The nephilim were NOT the strange, mythological offspring of these unions, but rather a group or class of large, tyrannical warriors who maintained a faith-breaking reign of terror against the righteous Sethites in particular -- and the unrighteous Cainites in general. The nephilim of the antediluvian world served as a deliberate parallel to the nephilim of Numbers 33, who also caused YEHOVAH's people to stumble as they approached the Promised Land. This also indicates that Noah and his family weren't the only ones to survive the flood. Problems in the interpretation of the phrase "sons of God and daughters of men" -- and difficulties in defining the nature of the nephilim in verse 4 -- can easily be overcome when we consider the effects of an overwhelming majority of the ungodly on the spiritual integrity of a lesser group of righteous people. So rather than focusing merely on the act of marriage, or the presence of the nephilim, we should take into account the effect of these evil influences in order to understand YEHOVAH's judgment on the land and its inhabitants.

Giants on the Earth By Boyd Rice

Since the offspring of the Nephilim were said to be giants, and because virtually every tradition relating to the Flood and the subsequent arrival of the tutelary gods also has to do with giants, I have spent several years making note of giant lore, both mythological and purportedly historical. I’ve even

taken to the road in an attempt to verify reported discoveries of gigantic skeletons in parts of the United States and UK (without luck, unfortunately.) Though such discoveries were widely reported in the mainstream press at the times in which they were made, whatever became of the skeletons remains a mystery. Some maintain that the orthodoxy of the scientific/archeological community has created a conspiracy of silence around such anomalous finds because they can’t be adequately explained, and thus constitute some sort of threat to the prevailing paradigm. Of course, such finds can only be viewed as anomalies if taken singly. Many such discoveries would constitute the emergence of a pattern - a pattern possibly indicative of the need to rethink the prevailing wisdom. Fortunately, the ancients charged with the transmission of their people’s history, myth, and folklore felt no need to alter it for public consumption. They simply retold the stories that had been passed down to them by their ancestors. And here too, a pattern emerges, because the creation myths central to so many ancient cultures contain nearly identical themes concerning a race of giants. Often the giants were father gods, tutelary deities, or mythic kings. Often there was a race of giants, frequently said to be the offspring of intermarriage between gods and mortals. Repeatedly, such figures are connected with the legend of a global deluge. What follows is a brief overview of some figures or groups central to giant lore. The Nephilim: These were the Sons of God who in Genesis interbred with humans, creating a race of giants. They were called “The Watchers” in The Book of Enoch. The Cainites: This was a race of giants descended from Cain who lived in an underworld kingdom called “Arka.” Note that the well-known statement in Genesis that “in those days, and after that, there were giants on the earth” is in fact not what the original text stated. What it really said was “giants in the earth.” The Anakim: This was another name for the Watchers. It means “the descendants of Anak”, or Enoch, Cain’s son. Though it was said that a flood had been sent to destroy them, there were still entire cities of Anakim in Canaan as late as the time of Moses. And Jewish chronicler Josephus states that even in his own day it was not uncommon for people to dig up gigantic skeletal remains. Spies sent by Moses to scout Anakim strongholds reported back that the Anakim were so large that the Hebrews seemed “like grasshoppers” in comparison. The Tritons: This was a race of giant gods, spawned by the

interbreeding of Poseidon with a mortal woman named Cleito. In some versions of the story they are part-fish. Some are said to have escaped the flood that destroyed Atlantis. The Titans: These were a Greek race of giants born to Ouranos and Gaia. It is undoubtedly a later retelling of the Triton saga. Atlas: He was the King of Atlantis, and a Triton/giant. He was so large and so strong that he often represented holding the Earth upon his shoulders. Quetzlcoatl: This was the giant white god who appeared to native South Americans and founded their civilizations, according to their folktales. He too is depicted supporting the Earth on his shoulders, and he told the natives that the civilization from which he originated was destroyed by a flood which he escaped by building a ship. Hercules: He is also a giant, and is said to have piloted an ark. Cuculainn: He is called the Irish Hercules, and came to Ireland in a ship when his homeland was destroyed by a flood. Interestingly, he seems to equate with the South American white god Kukulcan, a figure of “very tall stature” who arrived on a boat telling much the same story. Votan: This is yet another tall white tutelary deity of South America. Once again we see the strange circumstance that his name sounds exactly like that of the Northern European god Wotan, a deity worshipped on the in an altogether different hemisphere. The Ari: These were a race of Sumerian deified kings. “Ari” is a royal title meaning “the Shining Ones.” They were obviously the prototypes of The Book of Enoch’s Watchers. Numerous Sumerian seals depict

them as men of gigantic stature. They are often taller than members of their courts, even when depicted seated on thrones. In the numerous seals that show them standing, they tower above those standing next to them. The Tuatha de Danaan: This was a race of Celtic giants and father gods. Like the Cainites and other giants, they were said to dwell in underground kingdoms or inside hollow mountains. One of the chief deities was Lugus, a name that translates to “Shining One”, revealing an astonishing connection to Sumer’s deified giant kings. The Ellu: This was a race of Mesopotamian kings said to be descendants of the gods. Yet again, “Ellu” is a royal court title which translates to “the Shining Ones.” It is thought that “Ellu” was the basis of the word “Elohim”, a term translated generally as “the Sons of God.” The Elohim are considered by some to be synonymous with the Nephilim of Genesis. Albion: He was one of the Titan giants fathered by Poseidon. He came to England after the Flood and was for many years the island’s principle god. In those times England was actually called “Albion”, after their Titan god/king. In fact, many British places place-names retain the words “Albion” or “Albany” to this very day. Iberius: A Titan and brother of Albion, he went to Spain after the Flood. And likewise, Spain was for centuries named Iberia in his honor. King Arthur: There is some Arthurian lore which claims that he piloted an ark during the Deluge, and this legend also relates that he stood just over nine feet tall. King Henry II, inspired by stories that Arthur was buried at Glastonbury, dispatched a team there to excavate the area. At a depth of nine feet they found a lead cross inscribed with the words: “Here lies the body of King Arthur.” Sixteen feet below that was a stone sarcophagus containing the bones of a man nine feet tall. Skeptics put forth the argument that the lead cross could have been forged by local abbots wishing to draw attention (and donations) to their abbey. Such an argument, however, fails to address the fact that the nine-foot skeleton discovered beneath the cross would tend to negate the notion that this could have been a mere hoax. Later, in the early 1500s, another gigantic coffin was disinterred, and found to contain a skeleton 8’3” tall. History fails to record what became of these later bones, although those of Arthur were respectfully reinterred. The Cyclopses: The Cyclopses were one-eyed giants in Greek

mythology. It was said that they built the city of Mycenae in Greece out of massive blocks weighing many tons each. This is why similar constructions found at Baalbek, Lake Titicaca and elsewhere are referred to as having “Cyclopean” architecture. The Cabiri: This was a race of giant blacksmith gods said to live in hollowed-out volcanoes. They had tattoos on their foreheads of a large solar disc, leading to speculation that the myth of the one-eyed Cyclopses may have originated with them. The Cimbri: These were giants living in Celtic Gaul. They had long manes of blond hair and a fierce, warlike demeanor, all of which lead them to be compared to lions. They were also known as the “Cimmerians”, which may be suggestive of a Sumerian connection. It was difficult in writing the foregoing descriptions not to make them all sound incredibly redundant. But in order to state the basic facts in their simplest form, redundancy was a necessity, because all of these legends involve essentially the same story told over and over again. In some instances, not only were the stories identical, but so too were the names of the protagonists, such as Kukulcan/Cuculainn, and Votan/Wotan. It is astounding enough that we should see identical myths in places as widely removed from one another as South America and the British Isles, but that the names of the respective flood heroes so echo one another is utterly remarkable. It would seem an altogether reasonable conclusion to draw from such evidence that perhaps these myths might have some basis in truth. Perhaps the figures were indeed real men, and perhaps those men were giants. But if a real race of giants once inhabited the Earth, why haven’t people in recent centuries been digging up gigantic skeletons? According to author Stephen Quayle, they have. Quayle recently published Genesis 6 Giants, the result of over 30 years of research into Grail lore. The book is replete with Biblical and extra-Biblical accounts of giants, mythological accounts of giants, profiles on famous giants in history, and countless reports of people across the globe digging up the remains of giants. What follows are a few accounts of such excavations. Item: In 1891, at Crittenden, Arizona, some workers digging the foundation of a new building at a depth of eight feet struck a huge stone sarcophagus. When they were able to open the lid, inside were the remains of a nine-foot tall giant which time had reduced mostly to a pile of dust.

Item: While searching in a cave near the great canyon of Barranc de Cobre in northern Mexico in the early 1930s, explorer Paxton Hayes came across 34 mummified men and women. All had blond hair. All rose to heights between seven and eight feet. Item: In 1833, soldiers digging a pit at Lompock Rancho, California unearthed a 12-foot tall giant with double rows of teeth, both on top and on the bottom. The Lompock giant’s teeth, while unusual, were not unique. Another ancient skeleton later found on Santa Rosa island off the coast of California showed the same dental peculiarity. Item: In 1879, some Indiana archeologists dug into an ancient burial mound in Brewersville, Indiana and unearthed a human skeleton that measured 9’8” in length. The bones, which were stored in a grain mill, were swept away in the 1937 Flood. Item: In the 1880s, while digging in a mound at Sayre in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, a reputable group of antiquarians found skeletons of humans measuring not only above seven feet tall, but having skulls with horns ( located about two inches above the eyebrows.) The diggers, including two professors and a Pennsylvania state historian, turned what they found over to the American Investigating Museum in Philadelphia, but the bones were afterwards either misplaced, stolen, or lost. Item: In 1903, on an archeological outing at Fish Creek, Montana, Professor S. Farr and his group of Princeton University students came across several burial mounds. Choosing one to dig into, they unearthed the skeleton of a man about nine feet tall. Next to him were the bones of a woman who had been almost as tall. Item: Nature, in its December 17, 1891 issue, reported that at a depth of fourteen feet into a large Ohio burial mound, excavators found the skeleton of a massive man in copper armor. He wore a copper cap, while copper moldings encased his jaws. Copper armor also protected his arms, chest and stomach. At his side lay the skeleton of a woman, probably his wife. Item: In the 1860s, some excavators digging up a hill in Marion, Ohio uncovered thirty skeletons who ranged in height from seven to eight feet. Item: In the early years of the 20th century, a team clearing out bat guano from a cavern near Lovelock, Nevada discovered several giant cadavers measuring well over eight feet in height. Their hair, still

intact, was said to have been long and “reddish” in color. The foregoing accounts, taken almost in their entirety from Quayle’s Genesis 6 Giants, have been culled from a wide variety of sources, and represent only a small sample of those documented. They are largely reports from the United States, but reveal striking similarities to kindred finds in Europe, South America, the British Isles, Africa, China, the Middle and Near-East, Australia, and New Zealand - that is to say, virtually every corner of the earth. Though the tales vary in detail, the fundamentals of the stories are often quite cohesive: giants corpses, frequently with light-colored hair, generally buried at a depth of between nine and twelve feet, and often interred with artifacts made of copper. Some accounts report the presence of items bearing strange hieroglyphs or symbols. That several of these finds were excavated from burial mounds seems to lend credence to the stories told to early settlers by Native Americans, i.e., that they didn’t know who built the mounds, because they were already there at the time that the “natives” arrived. A number of Native American tribes (such as those in Colorado) have folk tales relating that a race of giants lived in America at a time prior to when their ancestors came there. Still others tell the story that a group of giant white gods came to live among them, after their own homeland (called the “White Man’s Island”) was destroyed by a flood. It is almost a certainty that some Native American tribes not only coexisted with the giants, but also interbred with them, because the earliest explorers to the New World repeatedly documented coming into contact with Indian tribes of gigantic stature. Such episodes are noted in the chronicles of Amerigo Vespucci, Magellan, Coronado, De Soto, and Sir Francis Drake, both in North and South America. Though the numerous accounts sited earlier are compelling, and are certainly supported by the eyewitness accounts of some of the world’s most esteemed and illustrious explorers, the sad fact remains that the most persistent commonality between all of these tales seems to be that the bones - the physical evidence - have all somehow gone missing. In some instances, this can be explained by the fact that local authorities, presuming the remains to be the property of indigenous peoples (Native Americans, Aborigines, Maoris, etc.) simply turned them over to tribal chieftains for reburial, and this without taking a single photograph, X-Ray, or DNA sample for testing (so as not to profane the relics.) Of course, the lion’s share of these discoveries were made in the 1800s, and many far earlier, at a time in which the rights of indigenous

peoples and regard for their religious institutions constituted a matter of far less circumspection than in recent years. If, as Stephen Quayle seems convinced, there is a concerted conspiracy of silence surrounding this archeological evidence, then it is a conspiracy of, well, gigantic proportions. The accounts of these giant remains are too numerous and too far-flung for all of them to have been lost, stolen, or secreted away. And yet, I truly believe the accounts. They are supported not only by an overwhelming body of evidence found in mythology, but an equally overwhelming body of archeological evidence. Witness the ruins of the many cyclopean cities referred to earlier. No one knows with any certainty either who built them or (more importantly) how they were built. Witness the vast complexes of tunnels and underground cities associated with the fallen angels (1), and recall that many of their myths include the detail that they dwelt in underground kingdoms. Again, no one knows who built these cities or how they were built. But an interesting fact to keep in mind is that the tunnels associated with them were generally nine, ten, or even twelve feet in ceiling height (the same average heights as those of the giant skeletons found.) Such tunnels can be found in South America, the Middle East, and even the Pacific Northwest of the United States. They are reputed to exist still undiscovered in Europe, Egypt, and the British Isles. Regular readers of this magazine will already be aware of what a pivotal role the story of the Watchers plays in regards to our own research into the Grail mythos and the bloodline connected to it. So many avenues of inquiry central to our own basic thesis seem to have a direct relationship to the Giant lore connected with the Watchers. The kings of Atlantis? Giants. The Shining Ones? Giants. King Arthur, a figure central to the Grail lore? Also a giant. One of the first wellknown paintings on the theme of Arcadia, Et in

Arcadia Ego by Guercino, depicts a fairly straightforward and seemingly insignificant scene of a man gazing upon an apparently trepanned skull. When I looked at it, there seemed to be no hidden symbolism discernable. Until, that is, I noticed what appeared to be an odd disparity in proportion. The skull, for as close as it was relative to the onlooker, seemed far larger than it should have been. Since the painter’s execution of this painting seemed masterly in every other respect, I concluded that perhaps his intent was to portray an oversized skull. Perhaps it represented the skeletal head of one of the primordial patriarchs of the Grail bloodline. If, as has been said, the grave of an ancient sacred king were somehow at Rennes-le-Chateau, perhaps those discovering it would open the tomb of a giant, a descendant of the Nephilim. As time passed, and our research progressed, this initially abstract idea seemed increasingly possible. After reading ancient apocryphal texts which indicated that a number of Biblical patriarchs were giants, it seemed altogether probable. Ultimately, reading about Abraham’s burial in the Cave of Treasures, I came to suspect that something far more profound might lie in wait at Rennes-le-Chateau. Abraham was an astrologer and magician who was said to have “traced his ancestry back to the Giants.” Upon his death, his body was carried to the Cave of Treasures, an underground necropolis where the bodies of all previous patriarchs were also interred, down to and including Adam and Eve. In addition, the Cave included treasures, relics, and a sacred archive of his progenitors. While treasures and relics are of interest to archeologists and museum-going looky-loos, and sacred archives can be dismissed by academics as mere superstitious hyperbole, such items found in the context of a necropolis of gigantic skeletons might well constitute the basis for a rethinking of world history. These people constituted a living remnant of the antediluvian world, the mythological “First Time.” And since myth and history record that their final resting place was together, in a single location, I can only assume that they are still there. Alien Nation After the flood many races of giants appeared on the land once again. Here is a list of a few. Rephaim - from the root rapha = spirits, shades Gen. 14:5 Anakim - race of giants Num. 13:33 descendents of Nephilim Emim the proud deserters, terrors, race of giants Gen. 14:5 Zuzim- the evil ones, roaming things Gen. 14:5 Zamzummims - the evil plotters, Deut. 2:20 Zophim - watchers, angels who descended Num. 23 Sepherim - the many. According to Micah 3 God used the Nephilim giants to punish Israel. They are hidden now but they will soon return during the Tribulation to lead the nations against Israel. This will be the taller ones. According to the Cocopa Indian tribe, giants of the past were able to carry logs that six of the humans failed to budge. Humans can roughly carry twice their body. The average human weighs 150 pounds (carrying weight of 300 lbs in group) times six humans, you now have

the ability to carry 1,800 pounds. Now let us take into account that these six humans could not move the logs, and then they would have weighed well over 1,800 lbs. These giants were carrying 1,800 pound logs with ease. Super human strength is often attributed to the Nephilim. So has there been any hard evidence that the Bible is correct concerning Nephilim giants? Here are a few example of physical evidence found. -In Montana in 1903, Montana, Professor S. Gen 3:15 states, "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." The word emity means hatred. The Nephilim have an intense hatred for humans. All through the Old Testament the Nephilim tribes were at war with Israel and Israel was instructed to exterminate every Nephilim man, woman, and child. Some of the names of Nephilim in the Old Testament are, Rephaim, Anakim, Emim, Zuzim, Zamzummims, and Zophim. In the Old

Testament there are twenty Nephilim tribes listed and all of them were at war with Israel. All the Nephilim died at the time of the flood with only Noah and his family surviving. So why is it that Noah and his immediate family were the only ones immune from this great judgment is significant. Genesis 6:9 says that, "Noah was a just man." Like Enoch before him, Noah also "walked with God." But there was another reason why Noah was spared. Genesis 6:9 says that Noah was "perfect in his generation." Does this mean moral and spiritual perfection? No. The Hebrew word for perfect is "tamiym" and comes from the root word "taman." It means "without blemish" as seen in Exodus 12:5, 29:1, and Leviticus 1:3. Just like Christ the sacrificial lamb had to be without any physical blemish, so Noah's perfection had to be mantained. In its primary meaning, it refers not to any moral or spiritual quality, but to physical purity. Noah was not a Nephilim. It is my belief that when the rain fell, Noah and his family were the only humans left alive that had not been cannibalized by the Nephilim. At this point I suspect that though Noah was without any physical blemish, he still possessed the satanic DNA from the Garden of Eden. That DNA represents the fall of mankind. It is what contaminated Eve and now a limited lifespan was introduced. Not only did Eve die spiritually, she also died physically. Now how is it that Adam gained the same fallen DNA. They may have a few kids the same, then the next one comes with blonde hair and blue eyes. We all carry the corrupted seed from the Garden of Eden. It's very hard to decide which or how many of the puppies will have the traits and attitudes of a Pit Bull. Some will just have a few traits not making them Pit Bulls, while others will be almost a full Pit Bull. for you or anyone else around them. Another attitude that they all have is a deep hatred for God. If you mention God, then you had better duck. They also may gravitate to religious cults and false religions. All they seem to talk about is money and how much everyone else has. They care nothing about your feelings and only tolerate you. These beasts can be your doctor, spouse, landlord, boss, social worker etc. By nature they will all make your life very stressful! They also can lead you into apostasy through Bible study and Church leadership. They are here to destroy you! By nature they only want what their father wants, and that is to kill, steal, and destroy. Most of the time they are not aware of what they truly are. They are just pawns in a bigger game. As stated, they can be born from humans because genetic is not predictable. The red haired remains of the Si-te-Cah were often found with giant women with babies. Well this would be a major advantage in intermingling with early human tribes. In other words, if you can't beat them (the humans), join them. In all positions of power the Nephilim have taken over. I think that this kind of sexual blood lust goes far beyond demonic possession. These are people that have no remorse. These beasts are not now nor ever will be saved. Salvation is not for them. Yes Christ died for all, but only his children are allowed to except eternal life. Many are called and few are chosen. The death of Christ calls us for salvation, but to these beasts, are called out for judgement. We are called for eternal life while they are called to damnation. We are called to repentance while they are called to rebellion. They are the Nephilim, the children of the damned that have mingled with the seed of men. As at the time of the flood, the modern Nephilim are beasts that are excluded from salvation. So how can we know this from scripture? In 1 Cor 15:31-32, Paul's says that he fought with beasts, then states that the beasts desire to eat and drink knowing that their time will pass. "I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? Let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die." Notice how Paul adds the eating and drinking here. I reminds me of the words found in Isa 26:14 where it says "They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish." The word "deceased" is the word Rapha, which some scholars believe is a reference to the Nephilim. Rephaim is word related to Rephaim who were primitive giants who lived in Canaan, Edom, Moab, and Ammon. They were also known as Emims (Deut. 2:11), and Zamzummims (Deut. 2:20). feet). So if you render Isaiah 26:14 with

the proper translation, it should read, "They are dead, they shall not live; they are the Nephilim, they shall not rise…" Now this begs the question, rise to what? The answer is found in Ps. 88:10 where it says, "Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? Shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah." So Isaiah makes it very clear that the Nephilim will never rise to salvation. They are totally without hope. So it is very logical to assume that the religion of the Nephilim is to "eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die." Now let's look at this in context of scripture. What the Nephilim did was to drink blood, eat the flesh of man, and chose any wife they wanted for sex. In Luke 17:27 is says, "They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all." For me this is a clear reference to the Nephilim and their belief. If you look at this scripture, you have to ask yourself why was it sinful to eat, drink, and marry. Again, what the Nephilim did was to eat the flesh of man, drink, his blood, and take his women for sex and reproduction of beasts to the world. Many Satanic cults worldwide practice the rituals of eating flesh, drinking (human) blood, and having sexual orgies. The religion of the Nephilim is Satanism, which in turn is the worship of their fallen father. So now let me get back to my original point. Paul's statement is that he fought with beasts, then adds that the beasts desire to eat and drink knowing that their time will pass. Let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die." For me it is clear that while in Ephesus Nephilim beasts tried to stop him from preaching the word. Whether they were giants, or whether they were of normal size, it is hard to tell, but they were Nephilim the children of the damned. The bottom line is that they were Nephilim beasts who were trying to block Paul's ministry. In 2 Pet 2:12 it says, "But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption." 2 Pet 2:12 Note that it says they were made to be destroyed! The word in the language for "made" is born. This means that they were born to be destroyed! Does not sound like God's salvation is an option for these beasts. Rom 9:21-22 says, "Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath

fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory." The Nephilim are the ones that are to be cast out as Tares and burned in the fire. They are the weeds among the wheat. "But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath…" Rom 2:8 Another good example of a modern Nephilim is Jeffery Dahmer who murdered, raped, drugged, cooked, and ate his victims. One victim's body he had sex with it, masturbated over it, dismembered it, and threw it in the garbage. It's interesting too that he had also dabbled in Satanism. This man is a Nephilim born to be destroyed. The depravity of his evil goes far beyond what a human could even imagine. This is an identifying trait of the Nephilim. How many more of these Tares are out there that never get caught. How many of them run corporations, run for office, and work with people. I can assure you that there are many, "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matt 7:14. Imagine the secret black-ops projects and what advances they have made in the area of genetic hybrids! Now what I am talking about should not be an excuse for a witch-hunt by saying certain people are Nephilim. Some are obvious to me, but this comes from years of learning how to discern. Not only that, but there are millions of people that are demon filled and can be pretty wild in their own right. These are as mentioned earlier the un-sprouted wheat. Millions of humans that are pre-destined for heaven will be saved during the Tribulation. Just like the Prodigal son in scripture, the people that are predestined for salvation in a state of rebellion since God has not made himself known to these people as yet. After the Rapture takes place millions will come to the Lord. These people are with us right now and may act evil, but they do not have the depth of intense evil that the Nephilim beasts have. Also our secret ruling government the Illuminati is a core of evil that most humans cannot even imagine. These Nephilim bloodlines are not now nor ever will be saved. I am talking about is the hierarchy known as the top thirteen bloodlines of the Illuminati. There are many that can become members of the Illuminati, but you have to be born into the inner sanctum of power. All humans are children of God and all are pre-destined for salvation. All the Nephilim hybrids are pre-destined for hell then the Lake of Fire. The will of man has nothing to do with salvation. Being born human means we are victims of satanic manipulation both spiritually and

physically. God therefore was obligated to fix the damage created by Satan. Since Satan was created imperfect so that he could fulfill the will and plan of God, God then becomes responsible for our the latter damage that was created after the fall. This is why God himself had to come down to be born human in order to give his life for all his children who are human the children of Adam. The Nephilim are the weeds among us that will soon be rooted out. Christ came to take the sins of his sheep and to open the spiritual door. Because of Christ's sacrifice, we are now being called back to our Father in heaven. "But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." John 10:26-28 The Nephilim do not hear his voice and hate Christ with all that they have. They are not called to repentance but called to judgement. I highly suspect that there were many Nephilim hybrids that were part of Israel. It always puzzled me how the Jews after being saved through the parting of the red sea could start to sin on the other side. They with their own eyes saw one of the greatest miracles ever known, and what was their reaction? Eat, drink, and make merry. Also they began to build a golden calf to worship their real father from hell. As we can see from the statues of the giant kings, Nephilim giants, human/animal hybrids, and the Stargods/fallen angels ruled Egypt. Israel was always warned not intermarry with the nations, but this is what they did. The end result being that Israel became more rebellious. I used to think that God was cruel for condemning Israel to roam the wilderness for forty years simply because they were naturally afraid of the giants they were told to conquer (Numbers 14:1). Because of this, God sent them to the wilderness for forty years to punish them. I always found this rather harsh behaviour for just feeling fearful. But there is more to this story. I get the feeling that the Jews were no longer pure and in fact they were Nephilim from cross breeding something they were told never to do. Shocking statement I know but let's go to the scripture. In Num. 14:24 it states, "But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it."

Notice that Caleb had a different spirit. From this scripture we can assume that Moses too had a different spirit. God declared to Moses that even though the Jews were forgiven, they were all sentenced to die in the wilderness. Jesus on the cross forgave all those who were killing him, but most were still hell bound. God says to Moses in verse 27, "How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me." Notice here that God calls them evil. Obviously they were of another spirit. He promises them that their carcasses would lie in the open wilderness to be consumed. This is the same punishment that will be given to the Nephilim, (mighty men) in Rev 19:18. Also Jesus in referring to demons stated "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none." Luke 11:24. Israel was sentenced to 40 years to the wilderness. This reminds me of when God destroyed the Nephilim giants with a flood, he caused it to rain 40 days and nights. Note too that in Numbers Israel murmured against the Lord. I see this as an expression of their hatred for God. Another reason that they may have not wanted to war with the giants was because they were of the same seed, cousins if you will. Hard to say, but it's clear to see that God wanted to weed out the bad seeds because they were victims of the mingling of seed and became the children of the damned. In contrast look at David. David was quick to take on the giant Goliath and did not hesitate. If Israel was of the right seed they would, they would of ran into battle against the giants with no hesitation at all. They would have loved their Lord and not grumble against him and build a golden calf to worship. They after building the calf began to drink and orgy. In Egypt they must of practised this with the Egyptians and the contamination of the bloodline of Israel with the people of Egypt All through the Old Testament one can see where God is continually weeding out the bad seeds of Israel. With us today God is weeding out the seed of the flesh with all born again believers in Christ. So has God given up on Israel? God forbid. God has reserved 144,000 Jewish virgins that are of pure bloodline that will preach salvation to Israel during the last half of the Tribulation...

Ancient history and legend, as well as the Bible, attest to the fact that there were once GIANTS in the earth -- men of awesome dimensions, bulk and height! Where did these gigantic men and women originate? Does their existence relate to the sins of the fallen angels who cohabited with women? Could such mind-boggling, incredible events occur again during this End-time? William F. Dankenbring In the book of Genesis we read the blunt, categorical statement: "And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God [angels] saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. . . .There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men [had sexual relations with them], that they bare CHILDREN to them, the same became MIGHTY MEN which were of old, men of renown" (Gen.6:1-4). Who were these "giants" and men of "renown"? What does the Bible tell us about them? This is a fascinating story -- one that needs to be told! What happens when a spirit being appears as flesh, and unites with a mortal woman, and their two seeds join -- the sperm of the male and the egg of the female? This was a union which God had forbidden -- for good reason. The offspring which resulted, were not only proud, insolent, arrogant, and self-centered -- they were also extremely cunning in some cases -- and they were sometimes GIGANTIC in stature! They disrupted the entire ecology and balance of life of the world before the Flood. Admits the Jamieson, Fausset and Brown Commentary "Who, or what, then, were the Nephilim? In the only other passage where the word occurs (Num.13:32-33), it clearly means giants, being derived . . . from the mutually related roots of three verbs, yielding the fundamental idea of HUGE, EXTRAORDINARY SIZE. Nor can it be deemed incredible that in the antediluvian age, when, from the remains of quadrupeds and other inferior animals, we see that they were of an immensely larger type than the existing race of them exhibits . . . . "Archaeology, too, show, from the traditionary fables of the classical poets, as well as from the colossal monuments that are extant, that there were people in remote times of CYCLOPEAN STRENGTH; and whether this . . . was the characteristic percularity of a certain class only, various circumstances contribute to warrant the conclusion, that

in the world before the Flood there were Titans distinguished by corporeal stature and energies far above the present scale. But although the idea of GIGANTIC POWER does underlie the language of the sacred historian, the term Nephilim seems to bear a deeper significance; and if etymology may guide us, it describes a class of men of worthless and at the same time of violent character. . . intimating that the Nephilim were marauding nomads -- men of a violent, overbearing, lawless character -- who abused their bodily powers to obtain their selfish ends; who were constantly roving from place to place in quest of plunder, and, emerging suddenly from their retreat, made attacks both on the property and the lives of men" (Critical Experimental Commentary, vol.1, p. 89). Giants AFTER the Flood, Too! Men of gigantic stature are also mentioned as existing after the Flood of Noah's time. When the children of Israel sent spies into the land of Canaan, preparatory to invading the land, they were appalled to find giants dwelling in the land. They gave to Moses and the people a frightening, dismaying report: "Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. . . . We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature. And there we saw the GIANTS, the sons of Anak, which come of the GIANTS: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so were we in their sight" (Numbers 13:28-33). The word for "giants" here is the same word used in Genesis 6:4 -- the Nephilim. Obviously, therefore, some of them lived after the Flood. A Second Irruption of Giants Where did these giants come from? Since all the Pre-Flood giants were destroyed by each other, or before the Flood, these must have been born to disobedient angels who sinned by cohabiting with women soon after the Deluge. Says the Companion Bible: "But we read of the Nephilim again in Num.13:33: 'there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, which come of the Nephilim.' How, it may be asked, could this be, if they were all destroyed in the Flood? The answer is contained in Gen.6:4, where we read: 'There were Nephilim

in the earth in those days (i.e., in the days of Noah); and also AFTER THAT, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children unto them, the same became the mighty men (Heb. gibbor, the heroes) which were of old, men of renown' (lit. men of the name, i.e. who got a name and were renowned for their ungodliness). "So that 'after that,' i.e. after the Flood, there was a second irruption of these fallen angels, evidently smaller in number and more limited in area, for they were for the most part confined in Canaan, and were in fact known as the 'nations of Canaan.' It was for the destruction of these, that the sword of Israel was necessary, as the Flood had been before. "As to the date of this second irruption, it was evidently soon after it became known that the seed was to come through Abraham; for, when he came out from Haran (Gen. 12:6) and entered Canaan, the significant fact is stated: 'The Canaanite was then (i.e. already) in the land.' And in Gen.14:5 they were already known as 'Rephaim' and 'Emim,' and had established themselves at Ashteroth Karnaim and Shaveh Kiria- thaim" (Appendix 25). Satan knew that the promised Messiah would come through the descendants of Abraham. Satan adopted a pre-emptive strategy and bred more "giants" to occupy the Promised Land to prevent the Israelites from being able to occupy it. His plan aborted, however, when the Israelites under Moses and later Joshua conquered the inhabitants of the land, and destroyed the remaining Anakim. Another Race of Giants -- the Rephaim In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses writes of the land of Moab, "The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; which also were accounted giants, as the Anakims" (Deut.2:10-11). The word for "giant" here is Raphah, which means "giant." Interestingly, the same word also means "ghost, dead, deceased." The Rephaim were another of the lines of giants which existed after the Flood. Moses tells us of the land of Moab, "That also was accounted a land of giants; GIANTS dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims; a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead" (v.20-21). Og, the king of Bashan, conquered by Moses and the Israelites on their entrance into the Promised Land, was one of the giants. "For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits [approximately 14 feet!] was the length thereof,

and four cubits [6 feet] the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man [i.e., a normal man -- the normal cubit measured 18 inches]" (Deut.3:11). Bashan, the land of Og, was called "the land of giants"(v.13; see also Josh.12:4, 13:12). The valley of Hinnom, the refuse dump for Jerusalem, a type of the final Gehenna fire, lay eastward of the "valley of the giants" (Josh.15:8; 18:16). Joshua 17:15 mentions the "Rephaim," another branch of the "giants." These dwelt in the region near Sodom and Gomorrah in the time of Abraham (Gen.14:5; 15:20; see also II Sam.5:18,22; 23:13). In an ancient text of the Jews, we read an astonishing description of some of these gigantic Amorites whom the Israelites conquered. In Buber's Tanhuma, Devarim 7, the text tells us of a Rabbi Johnanan ben Zakkai's encounter with the Roman Emperor Hadrian. This event occurred in about A.D. 135, soon after the Roman victory in the Bar Kochba war, when the Jews rebelled against the Romans. The text reads: "The wicked emperor Hadrian, who conquered Jerusalem, boasted, 'I have conquered Jerusalem with great power.' Rabbi Johanan ben Zakkai said to him, 'Do not boast. Had it not been the will of Heaven, you would not have conquered it.' Rabbi Johanan then took Hadrian into a cave and showed him the bodies of Amorites who were buried there. One of them measured eighteen cubits [approximately 30 feet] in height. He said, 'When we were deserving, such men were defeated by us, but now, because of our sins, you have defeated us'" (quoted in Judaism, edited by Arthur Hertzberg, p.155-156, George Braziller, New York: 1962). Thirty feet tall! The bones of these men were still in existence during the time of Josephus, the Jewish historian of the first century! The Origin of "Demons" Where do "evil spirits" or "demons" come from? Some think they are merely fallen angels, now deprived of their angelic bodies. Others claim they don't exist. But the apostle Peter tells us that the angels that sinned are now "cast down to hell [Greek, tartaroo, meaning a deep abyss]," where they are "delivered into chains of darkness, reserved unto judgment" (II Pet.2:4). If the angels which sinned are presently bound in chains, then what are demonic spirits which roam the earth? Evil spirits are not the same thing as "fallen angels," as many have long believed. Rather, since fallen angels are now BOUND IN CHAINS of darkness until the day of their judgment, we must look for another explanation consistent with the Scriptures to explain the existence of

demon spirits which have no corporeal body. Where, then, do "evil spirits" come from -- those spirits called "demons" in the Scriptures? Says the book of Enoch, in explanation of the origin of these evil "spirits" -"But now the giants who are born from the (union of) the spirits and the flesh shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, because their dwelling shall be upon the earth and inside the earth. Evil spirits have come out of their bodies. Because from the day that they were created from the holy ones they became the Watchers: their first origin is the spiritual foundation. They will become evil upon the earth and shall be called EVIL SPIRITS. The dwelling of the spiritual beings of heaven is heaven; but the dwelling of the spirits of the earth, which are born upon the earth, is in the earth" (Enoch 15:8-10). Jesus spoke of these evil spirits -- He cast out many demons from people, throughout His ministry, and gave this same authority to His servants. Early in His ministry, He encountered an extremely violent and super-strong demoniac who dwelt among the tombs near the sea of Galilee. "When he reached the opposite side, the country of the Gadarenes, he was met by two demoniacs who ran out of the tombs; they were so violent that nobody could pass along the road there. They shrieked, 'Son of God, what business have you with us? Have you come here to torture us before it is time? Now, some distance away, there was a large drove of swine grazing; so the demons begged him saying, 'If you are going to cast us out, send us into that drove of swine.' He said to them, 'Begone!' So out they came and went to the swine, and the entire drove rushed down the steep slope into the sea and perished in the water" (Matt.8:28-32, Moffatt translation). As God's servants, with the Holy Spirit of God dwelling within us (Rom.8:9-10; 5:32), we do not have to fear or be afraid of these demonic spirits. Jesus gave His disciples power and authority to CAST OUT demons, just as He did, setting an example! "And summoning his twelve disciples he gave them power over unclean spirits, power to cast them out and also to heal every sickness and disease" (Matt.10:1, Moffatt). This commission and charge was not just for the original disciples and apostles. It was an on-going commission and commandment for the Church of God throughout the ages! Notice! In His final instructions to the disciples, Jesus declared:

"And he said to them, 'Go to all the world and preach the gospel to every creature: he who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but he who will not believe shall be condemned. And as for those who believe, these miracles will follow: they will cast out demons in my name . . ." (Mark 16:15-17, Moffatt). The existence of these evil spirits, derived from the fallen angels, and their relations with women, is a fact which modern psychiatry cannot explain. Modern psychiatrists cannot fathom the real explanation of "split personalities," "multiple personalities," all inhabiting the same person, or the ability of such people to speak in total foreign languages which they have never heard or learned, or how they can have knowledge of previous "lives," or existences. But demonic possession and influence perfectly explains all of these puzzling, mysterious phenomena! These are the wicked "spirits" of the deceased "giants" who once roamed the earth! On the other hand, it is also possible for fallen angels to deceive, delude, and take over the bodies of human beings -- that is, those fallen angels which have not already been bound in chains. Apparently multiple millions of angels followed Lucifer in his original rebellion (Rev.12:3). Many of them still occupy high spiritual offices on this earth, under their "god" Satan (Eph.6:10-18; Eph.2:2; II Cor.4:4). The Truth Revealed This truth that angels did cohabit with women before the Flood and sired "giants" -- and "men of renown" -- may seen incredible -- almost unbelievable. But the plain record of Scriptures, together with apocalyptic sources, the history and traditions of the Jews, Josephus the Jewish historian of the first century, and even the very existence of Greek legends of "gods" marrying women, all together combine to bear witness to the unassailable fact that it really did happen! Why has Satan the devil hidden this truth from the world? Why do all the professing Christian churches, including the Roman Catholic Church and Protestant Churches, deny it? Satan's plot, of course, is to deceive all mankind (Rev.12:9). He doesn't want mankind to know how he has attempted to "tamper" with the genealogical blood-line of the human race. He doesn't want mankind to know that he and his fallen angels have attempted to THWART the plan of God, to prevent the birth of the Messiah. Also, in his own diabolical, devious way, he seeks to do that which God is doing through the human race: He and his angels planned to reproduce themselves by the only means available to them -- through

sexual relations with human beings -- thus producing their own "children," and "family" and "offspring"! Think of it! Satan the devil, in his devious wickedness, seeks to be like God in every way. He has never lost his desire to be "like the Most High" (Isa.14:12-14). God created the human race, in His own image and likeness, and is planning to reproduce spiritual sons of God, as many Scriptures attest (see Gen.1:26; I John 3:1-2; Heb.2:6-9; Rom.8:14-21). Even so, Satan has planned to imitate, counterfeit, and duplicate the plan of God -- to wrest, pervert, and alter the creation of men, by cohabiting with women to produce his own wicked offspring! Could modern-day accounts of "Alien abductions" be an "end-time" revival of Satan's age-old attempt to duplicate and counterfeit God's plan? Could Satan be attempting to have "offspring," today, in a final all-out attempt to thwart and stop God's Plan? The Original Snake in the Woodpile In the garden of Eden, after Adam and Eve had been together for seven years, according to the book of Jubilees, Satan began his dastardly plot. At a time when the "seven year itch" was beginning to set in, and Adam and Eve were becoming complacent, Satan -- in the guise of a seductive serpent -- met Eve in a secret rendezvous, or tryst, and began the old "line." He led her to look away from her husband as her guide, away from the Word of God, and began to toy with her emotions, to make promises to her -- and he seduced her, causing her to commit sin. Interestingly, in Genesis 2:25 we read that the man and his wife were "both naked," and that they "were not ashamed." The word for "naked" here is arom which is literally translated "nude," or "naked." But the same word is used in Genesis 3:1, where we read, "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field." The word for "subtle" here is also arum. meaning "cunning, crafty, prudent." They are the same word. The literal root meaning is actually "smooth" or "slick," as in smooth or slick skin -- i.e., "naked." A "subtle" person is considered "smooth," or "slick," as in "Slick Willy," a nickname for a famous person today. There is obviously a "play on words," here, in the Hebrew language. Eve later admits that "the serpent beguiled me" (Gen.3:13). The Hebrew word is nasha meaning "to lead astray, to delude, to seduce." Says the Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon, "to lead into error, to cause to go astray, to seduce, to corrupt." Paul in the New Testament says of this strange encounter, "the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty" (II Cor.11:3). The word for "beguiled" here is exapatao which means, "to seduce wholly."

According to the Jewish Talmud, the devil copulated with Eve. The "forbidden fruit" which she partook of was not only a real, literal fruit from a forbidden tree, it was a symbol for something else -- an act of illicit sexual congress with the man-serpent, the fallen cherub, Lucifer the Adversary. There is much more to this story of Eve in the garden of Eden than most have ever supposed. Satan, appearing as a seductive, beautiful creature of light, captured her confidence, won her affection, and mesmerized her with his smooth line of loving attention. Perhaps she had felt a little lonely or neglected by Adam, who was out taming the jungle. In this moment of weakness, she was tempted -- seduced -- and succumbed to the charms of the master deceiver and charmer. Lucifer and his fallen angels did themselves one better. Not only did they rebel against God aeons ago, in the primordial mists of time, but they inaugurated a plan to cause the human race to deviate from its intended godly purpose. Satan was the first "snake in the woodpile," as the old saying goes. He was not only the first liar, and murderer (John 8:44), he was also the first adulterer, fornicator, and sexual deviate in existence! "The Sons of God" Some insist that these "sons of God" in Genesis who married the "daughters of men" are nothing more than the line of Seth, the third son of Adam, and that the daughters of men refers to the women born to the line of Cain. This is the view of the Catholic Church, Augustine, Martin Luther, and other conventional theologians of mainstream Christianity. This makes no sense whatsoever. Only by a divine act of specific creation can any creature be called a "son of God." That which is born of flesh is flesh. As human beings, we all have fleshly parents. Adam only was the exception, being made by the hand of God -- therefore he was a son of God (Luke 3:38), by creation. Those of us who are also "in Christ," and have received His implanted Holy Spirit, are also "sons of God" in the spiritual sense (II Cor.5:17; Eph.2:10). We, too, can be called "sons of God" (Rom.8:1415; I John 3:1). In the Old Testament, however, the term "sons of God" refers to angels (see Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7; Psa.29:1; 89:6; Dan.3:25). Therefore, we have no authority to take the expression in Genesis 6:2 and to apply it in any other way. Furthermore, the Septuagint version of the Old Testament Scriptures, plainly translates the term in Genesis 6:3 as "angels of God" (footnote, page 7, Alexandrian text).

Those who attempt to explain this verse as the sons of Seth marrying the daughters of Cain simply are unable to believe that angels could cohabit with humankind. However, as we will see later, there is no reason Scripturally why this couldn't have happened! What Really Happened Jude says these wicked angels left their own "habitation" (Jude 6). The word is oiketerion in Greek, and is also used in II Corinthians 5:2 -- "For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven." Says Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of this word, it means, "habitation, house." Thus these angels left their own spirit body, and took on human form! That is how they accomplished this despicable, rebellious act of lust and wanton disregard for the laws of God. The result? Tragedy beyond measure. Wickedness supreme. Murder, lawlessness, and mayhem unparalleled in the history of the entire Universe! The progeny of these rebellious angels were called "giants" -- Nephilim in the Hebrew. These were monsters of iniquity, and being superhuman in size and character had to be destroyed once and for all. This grievous intermarriage was an insidious attempt by Satan the devil to prevent the coming of the promised "Seed" of the woman to redeem the human race. He thought that he would pervert and corrupt the blood-line of human beings, so that the Messiah could not be born! It was also an abortive attempt to "play God" on the part of Satan and his fallen angels -- to duplicate and copy God 's plan of procreation! Interestingly, these "half-breeds" of angels and women -- these offspring of the union of wicked angels and women -- since they are not truly "human" in the full sense of the word, have no place in the plan of God, and will not be in the resurrection. They will not be resurrected from the grave in the time to come of the great Judgment. The very name, Rephaim, in the Hebrew comes from the root rapha which means not only "giant," but also "lax," that is, "ghost," "as dead," "dead, deceased." Says Gesenius Hebrew-Chaldee Lexicon, "flaccid, feeble, weak, only in plural." This authority states, "According to the opinions of the ancient Hebrews, void of blood and animal life, therefore weak and languid like a sick person." Isaiah 26:14 speaks of them, but their name is translated "deceased." Notice! "They are dead, they are deceased [Rephaim], they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish." Isn't it interesting to note that many of the so-called "aliens" which have been "seen" by various people, when described, all appear rather weak, flaccid, limp, and feeble in appearance, lacking energy and vitality?

"Perfect in His Generations" Only Noah and his family of his generation had preserved their pedigree pure from Adam. "These are the generations [plural, denoting genealogies and family history] of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God" (Gen.6:9). The rest of mankind had become corrupted through intermarriage with angels, tainted with the biological effects of such contamination, and their hereditary traits were corrupted -- genes and chromosomes were "tainted." Noah, however, was "perfect" in his genealogy or pedigree. The Hebrew word for "perfect" here is tamim and means "without blemish." It is the word for bodily and physical perfection. It is rendered "without blemish" (Exo.12:5, etc.), "without spot" (Num.19:2, etc.), and "undefiled" (Psalm 119:1). The word Nephilim itself means, literally, "fallen ones" (from naphal, "to fall"). These beings were evidently great in size and great in wickedness. They were superhuman, abnormal beings, and their destruction was necessary for the preservation of the human race. The children of the perverted sexual relationships between fallen angels and women "became [the] mighty men [Hebrew, gibbor, meaning "tyrants, the "heroes"], which were of old, men of renown" (Gen.6:4). The word for "renown" literally means "men of the name," that is, men who got a reputation and were renown for their strength, prowess, ungodliness, and evil deeds. The "Giants" of Mythology and Early History These mighty "giants" of old were the source and origin of the Greek legends of gods coming down from heaven and marrying women, having incestuous and adulterous relationships, "Cyclops," and other "Titans" and giants. They may also explain the difficulties engineers have had in explaining the construction of the great pyramid and the movement of the massive blocks of stone weighing hundreds of tons! Says the Companion Bible: "If these Nephilim . . . were associated with Egypt, we have an explanation of the problem which has for ages perplexed all engineers, as to how those huge stones and monuments were brought together. . . . "Moreover, we have in these mighty men, the 'men of renown,' the explanation of the origin of the Greek mythology. That mythology was no mere invention of the human brain, but it grew out of the traditions, and memories, and legends of the doings of that mighty race of beings; and was gradually evolved out of the 'heroes' of Gen.6:4. The

fact that they were supernatural in their origin formed an easy step to their being regarded as the demi-gods of the Greeks" (appendix 25). The Companion Bible adds: "Thus the Babylonian 'Creation Tablets,' the Egyptian 'Book of the Dead,' the Greek mythology, and heathen Cosmogonies, which by some are set on an equality with Scripture, or by others adduced in support of it, are all the corruption and perversion of primitive truths, distorted in proportion as their origin was forgotten, and their memories faded away" (Companion Bible, appendix 25). The Encyclopedia Britannica, eleventh edition, provides more insight into the giants of old. Although the editors of the Britannica did not endorse the idea of real "giants" as having lived in the past, they put together a very interesting description of a theme which runs throughout ancient times -- that of real living giants. Notice: "When reading in Homer of 'the Cyclopes and the wild tribes of the Giants,' or of Odysseus in the cave of Polyphemus (Homer, Odyss. vii, 206; ix), we seem to come into view of dim traditions, exaggerated [sic] through the mist of ages, of Pre-Hellenic barbarians, godless, cannibal, skin-clothed, hurling huge stones in their rude warfare. Giantlegends of this class are common in Europe and Asia, where the big and stupid giants would seem to have been barbaric tribes exaggerated [sic] into monsters in the legends of those who dispossessed and slew them. In early times it was usual for cities to have their legends of giants. Thus London had Gog and Magog, whose effigies (14 ft. high) still stand in the Guildhall; Antwerp had her Antigonus, 40 ft. high; Douai had Gayant, 22 ft. high, and so on" (v.11, p.926). The Roman historian Pliny relates that an Arabian, Gabbarus, was about 9 and one half feet tall, and he also mentions a Posio and Secundila who were half a foot taller. Why should this seem so strange or unbelievable to moderns? The Scriptures tell us that David slew Goliath (whose name means "an exile"), a famous giant of the city of Gath, who was probably descended from the ancient Rephaim, of whom a remnant took refuge among the Philistines (Deut.2:20-21; II Sam.21:22). Goliath's height was "six cubits and a span," making him 9 feet and 9 inches tall! Possible footprints of ancient gigantic men have been found in places like the Paluxy riverbed in eastern Texas. A tooth weighing 4 and three quarters pounds, and a thigh bone 17 feet long were found in New England in 1712, and were at that time thought to be evidence of the existence of ancient men of prodigious size in the antediluvian world.

Giants in the streets of Basel, supporting the arms of Lucerne, seem to have originated from fossil bones found in 1577. Examined by the physician Felix Plater, they were pronounced as having belonged to a giant some 16 or 19 feet high. According to ancient English history, the giant effigies (dating from 1708 and replacing those destroyed in the Great Fire of London) of Gog and Magog in Guildhall were the survivors of a race of giants. Says the Recuyell des histoires de Troye, Brute [Brutus] and his companions, when they fled ancient Troy, sailed through the Mediterranean, and up the coast of Europe, eventually invading England. "Gog and Magog" were among a race of giants they encountered. After the giants were defeated, these two were brought to London (Troy-novant or "New Troy") and compelled to officiate as porters at the gate of the royal palace. According to Geoffrey of Monmouth, Goemot or Goemagzot (either corrupted from or into "Gog and Magog") was a giant, who, along with his brother Corineus, tyrannized in the western horn of England until slain by foreign invaders ("Gog," Encyclopedia Britannica, 11th edition, vol.12. p.190). The Jewish historian Josephus, writing of the time of the Exodus and conquest of Canaan, tells us further: "There were till then left the RACE OF GIANTS, who had bodies so large, and countenances so entirely different from other men, that they were surprising to the sight, and terrible to the hearing. The bones of these men are still shown to this very day, unlike to any credible relations of other men" (Ant., V,ii,3). Josephus relates that remnants of the race of giants still lived in David's day, about 1000 years before Christ. After one particular battle when king David made war against the Philistines, putting them to flight, he was tired and left alone, and one of the enemy saw him, "whose name was Achmon, the son of Araph; he was one of the sons of the giants. He had a spear, the handle of which weighed three hundred shekels, and a breastplate of chain-work, and a sword. He turned back, and ran violently to slay [David] their enemy's king, for he was quite tired out with labour; but Abishai, Joab's brother, appeared on the sudden, and protected the king with his shield, as he lay down, and slew the enemy" (Ant., VII, xii,1). The handle or staff of this giant's spear weighed about 75 pounds! Why Do Skeptics Scoff? Is it really so unbelievable that angels would marry and have sexual intercourse with women before the Flood? Where do all the ancient legends of the Greeks, Romans, and others come from which relate

that heavenly beings sired offspring by mating with women? Ancient Sumerian records tell of gods descending from the stars and fertilizing their ancestors. Such interbreeding is supposed to have produced the first men on the earth. The native inhabitants of Malekula, in the New Hebrides, believe that the first men were direct descendants of the sons of heaven. The Incas believed that they were the descendants of the "sons of the Sun." The Japanese believe that their Emperor is descended from the sun god. South sea islanders trace their ancestry back to a god from heaven who they claim visited them in an enormous "egg." The Koreans believe that a heavenly king, Hwanin, sent his son, Hwanung, to earth, who married a woman of the earth and gave birth to a son, Tangun Wanggom. In India ancient Sanskrit texts tell of "gods" begetting children with women of earth, and how these children inherited the "supernatural" skills and learning of their "fathers." In the Epic of Gilgamesh, from the Middle East, we learn that "watchers" -- the same expression as used in the book of Enoch -came to planet earth and produced giants as offspring! An early Persian myth tells of the earth becoming corrupted by demons who allied themselves with women. The Jewish rabbis and sages invariably interpreted the "sons of God" expression in Genesis 6:1-4 as referring to angels. Says archaeologist William F. Albright, dean of Biblical archaeology, "The Israelites who heard this section (Gen.6:2) recited unquestionably thought of intercourse between angels and women" (Albright, From the Stone Age to Christianity, p.226). The Jewish philosopher Philo of Alexandria, who was an acquaintance of the apostle Peter and who respected Peter highly, wrote a treatise on this subject, entitled Concerning the Giants. He renders the expression "sons of God" as "angels of God." Philo took the passage in Genesis as historical fact and did not question or doubt it. He explains that the word "angel" refers to both good and bad beings. The bad angels, who followed Lucifer, at a later point in time failed to resist the temptation of physical desire, and gave in to their lusts. Philo says the story of the giants is not a myth, but is in the Scriptures to teach us that some men are earth-born, and some are heaven-born, but the highest are God-born, or born of God (i.e., have the Spirit of God within them!). According to Philo: "But he [Moses] relates that these GIANTS were sprung from a combined procreation of two natures, namely, from angels and mortal women; for the substance of angels is spiritual; but it occurs every now

and then that on emergencies occurring they have imitated the appearance of men, and transformed themselves so as to assume the human shape; as they did on this occasion, when forming connections with women for the production of giants. . . " (The Works of Philo, page 811). The earliest church fathers also believed in the literal truth of the fact that angels cohabited with women before the Flood. Among those who believed in the truth of this historical fact, and Biblical reference, were such early church leaders as Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Athenagorus, Tertullian, Lactantius, Eusebius the church historian during the time of Constantine, and Ambrose. According to the Clementine Homilies, in The Ante-Nicean Fathers, we read: "But when, having assumed these forms, they convicted as covetous those who stole them, and changed themselves into the nature of men, in order that, living holily, and showing the possibility of so living, they might subject the ungrateful to punishment, yet having become in all respects men, they also partook of human lust, and being brought under its subjection they fell into cohabitation with women; and being involved with them, and sunk in defilement and altogether emptied of their first power, were unable to turn back to the first purity of their proper nature . . . But from their unhallowed intercourse spurious men sprang, much greater in stature than ordinary men, whom they afterwards called giants; not those dragon-footed giants who waged war against God, as those blasphemous myths of the Greeks do sing, but wild in manners, and greater than men in size, inasmuch as they were sprung from angels; yet less than angels, as they were born of women" (vol.8, page 273). In fact, this opinion was universal in the ancient world. Nowhere before the 5th century A.D. do we find any other interpretation for "sons of God" in Genesis 6:2 other than that of "angels." Nowhere. If the writer of Genesis had wanted to refer to the sons of Seth, instead of calling them "sons of God" (which would have been a great misnomer), he would simply have called them "the sons of Seth"! What Does It All Mean? Is there a lesson in these fascinating facts for us, today? Satan the devil has always been out to destroy the plan of God, and to eradicate the human race. His attempts have fallen short of the mark.

However, the Bible warns us that once again, in these "last days," he is going to make one final all-out attempt to destroy the work of God! In ancient times, fallen angels were experimenting with human women -- attempting "breeding experiments" with them. Is it possible that even today, in the guise of "humanoids," or "extraterrestrials" who claim to come from other planets, that Satan and his demons and fallen angels are once again trying to revive their age-old experiments? Is Satan and his legion of spirit beings striving to solve the riddle of human procreation, in order to out-wit God who has made them incapable of reproduction among themselves? Is it possible that some of the strange accounts of bizarre "flying saucer" abductions, and stories told by "survivors" of such encounters, is really an end-time manifestation of this ancient phenomenon? Animals, Too! Clearly, the Biblical record demonstrates that wicked, fallen angels cohabited with women before the Flood -- which was a major cause why God had to destroy that wicked world! But not only women, there is evidence that angels also had sexual relations with animals -- cattle and quadrupeds -- further perverting and contaminating the heredity and seed of "all flesh." The sin was so rampant that God declared, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them" (Gen.6:7). Why was God upset even with the creation of the animal world? Because it, too, had become contaminated! We read, "And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, IT was CORRUPT; for ALL FLESH had corrupted his way upon the earth" (Gen.6:12). We read: "And God said unto Noah, the end of ALL FLESH is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them [the fallen angels, having instructed mankind in the ways of violence, and producing violent offspring!]; and, behold, I will destroy THEM with the earth" (v.13). Because of the great lawlessness rampant in the earth, God decided to destroy ALL flesh -- not just human beings! This indicates that all flesh had become contaminated to some degree. The book of Enoch fills us in on a few of the details. We read: "The angels of your heavens are now committing sin (upon the earth), and your wrath shall rest upon the flesh of the people until (the arrival of) the great day of judgment" (Enoch 84:4). "Again I saw (a vision) with my own eyes as I was sleeping, and saw the lofty heaven; and as I looked, a star fell down from heaven [Lucifer,

or Satan -- compare Luke 10:18] but (managed) to rise and eat and to be pastured among those cows. Then I saw these big and dark cows, and behold they all changed their cattle-sheds, their pastures, and their calves; and they began to lament with each other. Once again I saw a vision, and I observed the sky and behold, I saw many stars descending and casting themselves down from the sky upon that first star; and they became bovids [cattle, or quadrupeds] among those calves and were pastured together with them, in their midst. I kept observing, and behold, I saw all of them extending their sexual organs like horses and commencing to mount upon the heifers, the bovids; and they (the latter) all became pregnant and bore elephants, camels, and donkeys. So (the cattle) became fearful and frightened of them . . ." (Enoch 86:1-5). Here was sexual perversion and corruption on a massive scale -experimentation which knew no bounds. Because of these wicked angels, God determined that not just mankind, but "all flesh" had corrupted His way upon the earth (Gen.6:12), and that He would have to destroy "both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air" (verse 7) -- God was sorry that He had made "them" (same verse)! As a result of that Flood, "Every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark" (Gen.7:23). Sexual genetic cross-breeding with angels was a sin that God could not tolerate or countenance. Virtually the whole earth had to be destroyed! This indicates that animals, as well as mankind, had been the victims of angelic experimentation, and had become corrupted by the disobedient angels! An allusion to the nature of this great sin is found in the book of Jude. When we read Jude carefully, we notice that the fallen angels were guilty of the SAME SINS as were being committed by the wicked Sodomites -- sexual perversions of every kind. Notice: "And the angels which kept not their first estate [heaven], but left their own habitation [house or body, changing into flesh], he hath reserved in everlasting chains . . . EVEN AS Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them IN LIKE MANNER, giving themselves over to FORNICATION [Greek, porneia meaning "whoredom, adultery, sexual immorality," and sexual deviation and perversion of all types], and going after STRANGE FLESH [ i.e. even bestiality and sexual intercourse with animals!], are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire" (Jude 6-7).

Thus Satan the devil was the first and the original "sexual deviate" -the first sexual "pervert"! He was not only a liar and a murderer from the beginning, as Jesus Christ said (John 8:44), but he was also the first to "defile the flesh" (Jude 8). He and his angels, "as brute beasts," corrupted themselves (Jude 10), and led mankind down the same rebellious path, despising the dominion of Heaven! (verse 8). "As It Was in the Days of Noah" Jesus Christ made a remarkable prophecy which correlates with this ancient phenomenon. He declared, in the Mount Olivet prophecy, detailing the signs of His impending Second Coming, that in the "last days" of this earth civilization once again things would become so bad, so out of control, that they would be comparable to the days of Noah -in every way! Notice! Speaking of these "End times," He declared, "For then shall be GREAT TRIBULATION, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, n or ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should NO FLESH be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened" (Matt.24:21-22). Did you get it? These last days were prophesied to be EVEN WORSE than the time of Noah! Unless they are cut short, once again God would have to destroy the whole world in a final conflagration of fiery judgment! Moffatt translates this verse: "Had not those days been cut short, not a soul would be saved ALIVE; however, for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short" (Matt.24:22, Moffatt). But Jesus went even further. In a very pointed statement He declared: "But AS THE DAYS OF NOAH WERE, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be" (Matt.24:37-39). "And AS IT WAS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all" (Luke 17:26-27). What's wrong with eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage? Nothing, so long as they are done in accordance with the divine laws of God! God did not punish the antediluvian world because they were merely carrying on life as "normal." The fact is, they were NOT "normal" -- everything was perverted! They were eating the wrong

things -- even cannibalism and human flesh and blood! They were entering the "forbidden zone," and performing the wrong kind of marriages! Some of these evil marriages involved wicked, fallen angels and women (Gen.6:1-4)! Others involved "homosexual marriages"! But notice! Jesus said, "so it shall be also in the days of the Son of man"! Once again, in our day, history has already begun to repeat itself! Another "War in Heaven" Once again, within the next few years, there is going to be "war in heaven" and Satan the devil will be cast out, and down to this earth. In the book of Revelation we read that in the time just ahead of us, Satan is once more going to stage an attack on God's throne in heaven. John records: "And there was WAR IN HEAVEN: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him" (Rev.12:7-9). History repeats itself! Just as angels were cast out of heaven aeons ago, and left their first estate during the time of Noah, and performed wicked acts upon the earth, so once again -- in OUR TIME -- they will again be cast down to the earth, after suffering defeat in a great cosmic conflict -- war in heaven! Satan's final battle to seize God's Throne in heaven will fail, and he and his angels will be hurled down to the earth, filled with seething hatred. John goes on: "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time" (Rev.12:7-12).

At that coming time Satan will launch a persecution of the people of God such as has never before occurred in all history. It will be a time of terrible tribulation and suffering. "And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. And to the woman [the church of God, those truly zealous and obeying the commandments of God] were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place [a place of safety, security and refuge!], where she is nourished for a time, times, and half a time [three and one half years], from the face of the serpent. And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to MAKE WAR against the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ" (Rev.12:13-17). When Satan and his demons are cast back down to this earth, filled with boiling hatred and seething violence, they will once again seek to pervert and destroy mankind. In a final attempt to avert their fate, they will embark on a program of sexual experimentation, deviation, and programming to attempt to find a "magic bullet" to enable them to defeat God, and His Plan! Demonic accounts of the rape and seduction of human beings by "flying saucer" aliens, today, is just the beginning of another round -- a "third irruption" -- of angelic beings cohabiting with women. Once again, the fruits will be devilish -- confusion, chaos, sensuality, strife, and every evil work (James 3:14-16). There may not be literal "giants," physically, this time. But there will be "men of renown," of incredible ability, walking in our midst -- perhaps looking just like other human beings. The strange absorption of the motion picture industry today with demonic rape and seduction -- movies such as "Rosemary's Baby," the "Amityville Horror," and others like "Independence Day," "Armageddon," and "Alien" -- seems to be focussing the world's attention on such concepts, in a perverted manner. Once again, Satan the devil and his angels are "pulling out the stops" and going "all out" to get their "revenge" on God by perverting the ways of God upon the earth, as they did in Noah's time! Jesus' meant literally what He said! "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man"! Satan isn't finished yet. But his time is almost up. But for those of us who worship and serve the Creator God, and Jesus Christ His Messiah,

the time has come for us to prepare ourselves as never before, and get ready to meet our Redeemer, Saviour, coming King of kings and Lord of lords! As Jesus Himself said: "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh" (Luke 21:28).

Arizona, told early white settlers about their ancestors' battles with a ferocious race of white, red-haired giants. According to the Paiutes, the giants were already living in the area. Roaming, man-eating giants The Paiutes named the giants Si-Te-Cah that literally means “tuleeaters.” The tule is a fibrous water plant the giants wove into rafts to escape the Paiutes continuous attacks. They used the rafts to navigate across what remained of Lake Lahontan. According to the Paiutes, the red-haired giants stood as tall as 12-feet and were a vicious, unapproachable people that killed and ate captured Paiutes as food. The legend The Paiutes told the early settlers that after many years of warfare, all the tribes in the area finally joined together to rid themselves of the giants.

Giants roamed the Earth

One day as they chased down the few remaining red-haired enemy, the fleeing giants took refuge in a cave. The tribal warriors demanded their enemy come out and fight, but the giants steadfastly refused to leave their sanctuary.

Frustrated at not defeating their enemy with honor, the tribal chiefs had warriors fill the entrance to the cavern with brush and then set it on fire in a bid to force the giants out of the cave. The few that did emerge were instantly slain with volleys of arrows. The giants that remained inside the cavern were asphyxiated. Later, an earthquake rocked the region and the cave entrance collapsed leaving only enough room for bats to enter it and make it their home.

The find Hundreds of years later archaeologists explored the cavern near Lovelock, Nevada--the cave the Indians had described. What the scientific researchers found was staggering: over 10,000 artifacts were unearthed Cave of the Nevadan man-eating including the mummified giants remains of two red-haired giants—one, a female 6.5-feet tall, the other male, over 8-feet tall. Many of the artifacts (but not the giants) can be viewed at the small natural history museum located in Winnemucca, Nevada.

Confirmation of the myth

As the excavation of the cave progressed, the archaeologists came to the inescapable conclusion that the Paiutes myth was no myth; it was true. What led them to this realization was the discovery of many broken arrows that had been shot into the cave and a dark layer of burned material under sections of the overlaying guano. Among the thousands of artifacts recovered from this site of an unknown people is what some scientists are convinced is a calendar: a donut-shaped stone with exactly 365 notches carved along its outside rim and 52 corresponding notches along the inside. But that was not to be the final chapter of red-haired giants in Nevada.
