General Leveling Tips for Kamidori Alchemy Meister...

Description

General leveling tips 1. Using Marwen's Ring and Marwen's Necklace accessories at the same time compounds their effect. Wil and the main heroines can’t equip both at the same time, so their stat gains may be lower than other characters for the same number of level ups. (Main characters, however, can equip Demeter Gems on clothing so they can level up faster.) Marwen’s accessories may be irrelevant in the long run due to get yard furniture that produces stat-increasing stones or with transmigration, both of which become available late second game (NG+, append disk required). Even then, however, they are still important for two purposes: • Leveling up during the first game and early second game so that your characters will be powerful enough to farm Sei Gobles (see Money Tips) or to clear the append disk dungeons the first time, especially Advent Bay. • Capping all your character’s stats at Deadbeat Dungeon after transmigration in the second game or later. This minimizes the number of dungeon runs required. 2. Consider repeating arena battles for levels, especially early in the game. Arena battles do not advance in-game time, and battles that have been cleared do not require a fee, so are more or less free to repeat. The number and types of enemies is always the same. 3. With the Fountain of Youth furniture, you can transmigrate level 99 characters, i.e. reset their levels to 1. Skills and stats (Str, HP, etc) are kept.

Second game (NG+) chapter 9. Wil after repeated transmigration with Fountain of Youth. Added by Futae no Kiwami Once the Fountain is placed in the yard, characters that are level 99 and are equipped with their ultimate accessories (see Relic Accessories) will have an event. Selecting the event will let you choose if you want to transmigrate. Transmigration does NOT use up the accessory. You can do this as many times as you want. If a character has to be a minimum level to see an event, you'll need to level that character to that minimum level after transmigration. The Fountain of Youth is a bonus reward from Pagan Seal (Advent Bay), a stage available in the second game and onwards. 4. Yard furniture that give status growth stone (e.g. Jupiter Stone) are obtainable in the second game and onwards by clearing the Ver 2.0 dungeons (aka level 90 append disk dungeons).

... 5. Earliest you can get to level 99 feasibly: first game, chapter 8 Earliest you can get to Meister: second game, chapter 9 Earliest you can get to Magnus: second game, chapter 9 The earliest you can FEASIBLY level up all characters to 99 is chapter 8 when you get access to Deadbeat God. (See Leveling at Deadbeat Dungeon.) It is possible to level to 99 right at the prologue, but for the sake of your sanity please don’t do that.

Wil's Str cap (gray bars) at various ranks. His natural Str (light blue) may not exceed the cap. Added by Futae no Kiwami 6. Some characters have low stat caps. Stat caps depend on the character’s class. Most character move to the next class at certain levels. Wil’s class, however, depends on guild rank, so his stat caps increase as the story progresses. (See image) Wil can therefore have wasted level ups if all his stats are at the current cap. 7. Points gained to each stat during level up are calculated at the start of the turn in battle. It may therefore be possible to save, end the turn, kill an enemy to level up, and load the save if the stats gained at level up were not satisfactory. (See Misc. Info: Level-up mechanics) This is less efficient than

repeated transmigrations or fast-forwarding time in the town to produce stat-increasing stones from the Meteorite furniture. 8. Certain enemies and bosses drop stat-increasing stones. The 4 bosses in Sealed Darkness (Yusof Riverbed, from Lyphia and Evelyn’s quest line in the second game and onwards) not only drop these, but also resurrect after dying and giving the drops. The bosses can therefore be killed over and over again before the battle ends. Best done in the second game when party members used are at level 99. In the third-game and onwards, stats are more easily increased by transmigration and stones from Meteorite furniture if they haven’t been capped already. See Misc. Info: Farming stat-up stones.

General gameplay tips

1. Save often and in different slots! Some item delivery quests have time limits and are nearimpossible to finish in time if the items aren’t gathered beforehand. Timed quests include Quests 118121. Some bosses also drop rare crafting materials that won’t be available again until next game. Some of these bosses include: a.

Ryumil Dragon – Dragon Beads (First game onwards)

b.

Elizaleyn – Angel Beads (First game onwards, but easily obtainable in NG+)

c.

Phinilly – Fairy Beads (Second game onwards)

d.

Mylen – Fiend Beads (Second game onwards)

e.

Asmodeus – Devil Beads (Second game onwards)

f.

Halphas – Divine Claw (Second game onwards)

In case you accidentally kill a boss that drops rare materials without equipping Ful’s Mill, you can easily backtrack, equip the accessory, then kill the boss. If you don’t craft Angelwing Shields the first game, you may be able to craft new clothing slightly sooner in the second game.

2. Pick the 30,000s merchant, not the 5000s one. Buy the 10,000s book. (See FAQs.) Save up Ripe Apples and Aromatic Herbs for the chapter 7 side-quest that requires 50 Fruit Spices. Save up Rainbow Shells for Quest 133 (requires 5, has time limit, and occurs in second game onwards), Alexandrite, Sapphire and Emerald for Quest 125 (requires 5, has time limit, occurs in second game onwards). Quest 144 in second game onwards requires 50 Ammonite furniture.

3. Number of kills by a unit is not carried over to the next game. Wil therefore does not have to kill 500 enemies the first game (though he probably will) as Quest 148 is limited to the second game onwards.

4.

Using AOE attacks

You may want to deliberately target your allied units with an AOE attacks for the following reason: a.

To lower their HP so that Prevail and Undress comes into effect

b. To heal them if they absorb the element that the attack is. Useful for maps that do not allow item use.

5.

Spending at the Church to unlocks Hannah’s scenes.

The following cumulative amounts of money have to be spent at the church. When the total amount of money reaches that sum, an event will occur. a.

5000s from chapter 2 and on

b.

10000s from chapter 4 and on

c. 80000s from chapter 7 and on (100,000) if you're on NG+. NG+ comes with H-scene. If you spend 100k all in one purchase, you will skip the 5k and 10k milestone scenes. Amount spent can be carried over to NG+.

6.

When picking furniture, maximize prices in the Store.

Workshop: maximize tools until reaching ~95 tools. At about 95 tools, all recipes will require only 1 of each material. The number of tools is the percentage reduction in number of materials needed to craft an item. (e.g. 1 Azure Fruit and 1 Blue Liquid crafts 1 Large Potion with 66 tools or more, 1 Azure Fruit crafts 1 Small Potion with 50 tools or more). Late in the game (second game or after) you may want to start increasing workshop mutate while keeping tools high. Mutate stat increases likelihood of producing a mutated item (e.g. Sanctified Necklace when crafting an Angel Necklace). See table below for possible mutations.

Room: clerk if you’re selling things in the shop, or else knowledge.

Yard: go with producers, and swap to sense furniture a couple of times per chapter to check for new recipes.

8. The ultimate weapons for each character become craftable late-second game when Wil reaches Meister rank. Meister rank is attained by completing the quest 148 (500 kills with Wil) in Chapter 9 of the second game or after.

9. Mob spawns, combat outcome, item drop, and stat points gained during character level up are all calculated at the start of a turn. “Mob spawn” refers to cases in which two types of monsters can spawn at a single portal (e.g. Wisp and Fesp, or Static Kankuri and Kankuri). In order to get a desired mob to spawn at a portal or to get a desired mob drop, save, end the turn (defend if the mob attacks), then kill the mob/see if the desired mob has spawned. This is useful when Emerald-hunting (Quest 125, second game and onwards). 10. Things not to miss out on Yuela route: (unavailable elsewhere) a.

Crimson Seal hammer – required to craft Flame Fox Hammer.

b.

Maria’s Heart treasure – required to craft some weapons

b.

12. Things not to miss out on Emelita route: (unavailable elsewhere) a.

?

13. The above 3 points do not include expendable items, furniture, key items or other items of no consequence from the various routes. Ultimate Weapons for each main heroine require materials from their respective routes 14. Use Feather tiles as a strong point for attacking/defending. Melee characters on a Feather tile will be sent back to it if their target does not die, resulting in a heal. Feather tiles also do not heal if a the turn is ended without moving that character on to the tile or clicking to make the character finish his turn. (So that the character says “Done”). Similarly, traps do not do damage if your character is already on it and doesn’t move for the turn. 15. Deployment gates also work similarly – if a character fails to kill an enemy and is sent back on to a deployment gate, he can immediately withdraw. Another character can then be immediately deployed the same turn to attack again. Characters that have been withdrawn will recover all status effects and

some HP/SP/FS every turn when they are not on the battlefield. Defeated characters, however, will not recover unless they are revived with an item. 16. Critical hits do double normal damage. Percentage chance that a critical occurs is the attacker’s Luck subtracted by defender’s Luck. 17. Earning money early first-game: see Earning money. The 3 types of potions do not yield much money from selling – try to save them for battles. You don’t have to immediately enhance all clothing, especially not in the first 3 chapters of the first game when money is tight. 18. Accessories and weapons cannot be changed after a character has his turn ended/has been defeated/withdrew from battle in the current turn/is a clerk/is a guest, or if other characters are forbidden from deploying. Do remember to unequip useful weapons/accessories from clerks, and to prepare before a battle if other characters cannot be used. 19. Map bonuses that require "exactly x% control" or "at least x% control by turn y" are computed before the new turn starts (after enemies move) or when withdrawing.

Leveling at Deadbeat Dungeon Do keep in mind that a character gains weapon proficiency only if a weapon is equipped, and that the most powerful weapons all require level M proficiency. 1) Defeating the Deadbeat monsters (level 1-46) The 5 enemies in each Deadbeat level will not attack no matter what you do to them. The deadbeat levels that are unlocked later in the game have higher-leveled enemies. 2) Attacking the King Putetto (level 46-75) Attacking the King Putetto boss in the Deadbeat God level will allow you to quickly get your characters to about level 75. It Regenerates 50 HP per turn, so as long as you don’t do more than that in a turn you

can keep hitting it until 20 turns pass. Defeating the King Putetto will cause it to disappear for good until you start a new game, so be sure not to defeat it until you’re really sure you don’t need the exp any more (e.g. right before finishing the game). The King Putetto will attack you, however, if you attempt to melee it. At level 99, it has 70 Atk. Attacks also get Reflected, so be careful of that as well. Once every 3 turns, it will also use a Holy-elemental AOE that damages all characters within 2 cells of it. At level 99, its Int is about 50, so this attack hurts as well. It also has Reflect II, level S physical, wind and ice resist, and level D holy and dark resist. In short, attack it with a wind, ice, or physical skill to minimize reflected damage, and use ranged attack with a range of 3 or greater to avoid the AOE skill. Ranged skills that have low SP cost (e.g. Snipe) and Concentrate (SP regeneration skill) are good as well. 3) Increasing the level of King Putetto (level 75-99) The King Putetto has a level of 75 or the average level of your five highest-leveled characters, whichever is higher. Characters that are store clerks or are in Guest mode are excluded from the average. When your characters are about the same level as the King Putetto, the exp gained from attacking it will decrease. The minimum exp you can receive from King Putetto is 10 no matter how high your level is. You may therefore want to level up 5 characters with King Putetto until those 5 characters and King Putetto are at level 99. The rest of your characters can then be leveled quickly with King Putetto. Of the five characters you want to level to 99 first, you may want to use Wil and the main heroines as four of them due to their ability to equip Demeter Gems.

EXP gained by hitting King Putetto with 4 Demeter Gems and Double Action, at a lower level than the boss: 40 EXP x (1 + 0.25 x 4) = 80 EXP Two fights / turn = 160 EXP / turn. A level 45 main character therefore takes 1 dungeon run (more than 16 turns) to get to level 70, which is the King Putetto’s level. Other Deadbeat mobs more efficient before level 45 since those give 100 base EXP per kill (2 level ups per kill with 4 Demeter Gems).

EXP gained by hitting King Putetto with 4 Demeter Gems and Double Action, at the same level or at a greater than the boss: 10 base EXP x (1 + 0.25 x 4) = 20 EXP

Two fights / turn = 40 EXP / turn. 18 turns = 720 EXP = 7 levelups 29 levels from level 70 to 99 takes 4 dungeon runs at 720 EXP per dungeon run.

When 5 characters and therefore King Putetto are at level 99, the remaining characters gain the following amounts of EXP per run, notwithstanding slowdown from 97-99. Melee: No double action: 680 EXP / Dungeon Double action: 1440 EXP / Dungeon

Ranged: No double action: 720 EXP / Dungeon Double action: 1480 EXP / Dungeon From Level 50, the slowest leveler would still be there in no more than 8 runs.

Append disk dungeon tips Recommended time to clear: second game, chapter 9 (after Wil reaches Magnus), after finishing all Yuidora Mine EX dungeons. At Magnus rank, Wil has 400 command which is vital for deploying the more expensive units (Asmodeus, etc). Note that your party doesn’t get any better if you wait for third game to clear it. Easiest clear order is Advent Bay -> Phema Mountain -> remaining dungeons. Obtain Fountain of Youth on your first run, rebirth Leguna and Hannah (and Stone Golem if you got Bronze Coins from that run), level them to cap their stats, and the second run should be far easier. Hunt for the remaining Advent Bay accessories and transmigrate more characters. Clear Phema Mountains to obtain Reaper Bane recipe and materials, then clear the rest. Unit requirements for Advent Bay: [Holy resist] – Holy AOE and ranged attacks.

[Melee] – some enemies have Projectile Defence and Forcefield, especially early on. [Flight] – required to seal a few portals early in the map. [Anti-Death] – The 2 Pale Rider enemies instant-kill. Tips for Advent Bay first-timers: you may want to level Lily, Leguna and Stone Golem exclusively at Deadbeat Dungeon with Marwen’s Ring and Necklace to increase their stats. This way they’ll be more useful in the first Advent Bay run.

Clear when Wil is at Magnus because you'll have one or two ultimate weapons crafted, and also because you'll have 400 command total. Bring potions (I had 300 small potions, used ~100+), ethers, Rousing Powders, Unsealing Charms. Example of a team that works: Wil, Yuela, Ragsmuena, Asmodeus, Eushully, Golem, Leguna, Lily and Mylen. Weapons were as follows: Wil - G. Master Hammer; Yuela, Leguna, Lily, Mylen - Zaulura; Ragsmuena - Soul Reaver *cursed; Asmodeus - Devil Claws *cursed; Eushully - Infini Spira; Golem Diamond Fist. Accessories were Sanctified Necklaces, Hero Shield, Shell Shield, and Angel Necklaces. This isn't the only team that works - I just picked the most useful characters with the highest CON because enemy attacks are mostly Omni (melee) or Holy (ranged). Equip Ful's Tear and Mill on your characters you're going to kill the slimes with! You'll encounter Slime Spearmaid early on - the 4 Byakkos (Dark elemental and not cursed!) can go to your sword-wielding characters for an immediate boost. All characters were at level 99. Weapon proficiency was level M for characters that required it.

It’s very possible to beat it the first time without any character dying, but if all else fails you can zombie the level by reviving dead allies over and over again. Obtaining Fountain of Youth, transmigrating Hannah and Leguna, then maxing out all their stats except HP will make the second run a lot easier.

You may want to save-end turn-kill-load (save-scum) the two Pale Riders for their accessory, since there are only two of them per try. Slime enemy drops: Slime Princess - Dark Dragon Staff Slime Swordmaid - Inferno Pipe Slime Spearmaid - Byakko Slime War Princess - Rain Scythe

Slime Elf - Icicle Bow Slime Priestess - Razor Gloves The slimes do NOT spawn in the second run onwards, so the first run is your only chance to get these weapons until you start a new game. Unit requirements for Phema Mountains: [Flight] – or any skill combination that includes this (e.g. Interdimensional) [Grounded] [Wind x/Forcefield/Seal] – So that characters don’t get targeted by Nightmare Lightning skill ! Lightning strikes the map 3 times at the end of every turn

Any unit (allied or enemy) struck by lightning will be reduced to 1 HP, 0 SP and 0 FS. Have some healing items ready. Wind resist rank does not prevent this. All enemies have Nightmare Lightning attack (range 5, Wind), and this attack causes Charmed, Confusion, Shock and Afraid status effects.

Unit requirements for Valkyrie Falls: [Anti-Death] [Displace] Teleport Stone works as well [Range 5 attacks] Against Idisi

All enemies on this map are able to intant-kill characters without Anti-Death. Clearing Phema Mountains and crafting Reaper Bane before this map will allow you to have a much easier time. Range 5 or greater attacks are needed to clear Idisi enemies (which have range 9 instant-kill attacks) before you can Displace your units to clear the map and claim treasure.

Additional rare drop besides the relic accessories: Orc - Storm Scythe

Unit requirements for Phema Sluicegates:

[Teleport] [Dive] The six areas at the sides flood and drain every 3 turns. A large amount of enemies are present, but monster spawns are slow so it’s possible to clean up the map quickly. Monster spawn on turns 2, 8, 14, and so on.

Additional rare drops besides the relic accessories: Garuda – Dragonfire Staff Lenia Vea – Icicle Gloves

Unit requirements for Mirage Forest: [Teleport/Flight] – characters that have neither will expend 4 FS per tile moved [Earth resist S] – characters without at least S-rank resist will take damage every turn from sandstorm [Melee] – Most enemies have Projectile Defence.

Additional rare drops besides the relic accessories: Fafnir – Explosive Hammer Bahamut – Dragon Eye

Leveling Weapon Proficiency Points required between levels: E →D:3000 D →C: 6000 C →B: 10000 B →A:15000 A →S: 21000 S →M: 30000

The character that engages in combat with an enemy will gain proficiency points equal to the character’s current level (1-99). Points gained are independent of enemy’s level and number of attacks done during combat. Points are also gained regardless of the number of misses during combat, and also regardless of whether the enemy gets defeated or not. Points are not obtained if the enemy has Perfect Focus, nor if the character is Defending or has no weapon equipped. Points are obtained for magic and AOE attacks, but it counts as only one round of combat no matter how many enemies are defeated by the AOE. One method of leveling weapon proficiency is therefore to equip a high-level character with a melee weapon (one without Death) and Training Bracelet (or Mercy skill if the character has it) and head to the Troll's Lair (Dijenel Borderland). The character should have a high enough Constitution (defence), as the Trolls have the Prevail skill which will increase their damage when they are at low HP. Bloodsuck skill and HP Absorb on a weapon are useful to have. Red and blue trolls also have a ranged attack, so you may want to get rid of them with a long-ranged attack. To make leveling faster, equip characters with Intimidation skill to prevent enemies from attacking and turn off battle animation in the Config.

Leveling Weapons and Accessories Some weapons can be leveled up (e.g. Eastern Moon). Weapon level is indicated by the number of gray/yellow pips at the top-right of the tooltip. Weapon level is increased by defeating a set number of enemies. Note that this is different from a character’s weapon proficiency. Defeating more than 1 enemy at once with an AOE attack will register as separate kills. If the character gains a level after the first enemy in the AOE dies, however, the rest of the kills do not go towards weapon level exp. Accessories that can be leveled (e.g. Iron Wall Ring) will level up after 50 kills. Accessories that can be leveled up have only one level. Waiting next to a monster spawn that produces mobs quickly (e.g. Amurent Forestland – Jungle Tribeland and Dijinel Borderland – Troll’s Lair) is the fastest way to gain kills. For ranged weapons, pick an area where ranged enemies spawn. Chaotic Warground – Wartorn Ruin, for example, has a great number of Kankuri enemies. Omni or physical attacks work best since different Kankuri subtypes have different elemental weaknesses.

For characters with a long-range AOE attack, Siege Grounds in Yuidora Mines works well. The Black Putetto enemies there spawn in great numbers and often Divide. Seal the Earthman monster portals to the left and right, as well as the Bat portals directly above home base, then pass until turn 10~20. By then, the bottom left, bottom right, top left and top right corners of the map should be covered with Black Putetto. Targeting those corners with an AOE attack should net you 8-10 kills at a go. If the character is close to level up, however, you may want to kill the mobs one at a time, as additional kills after a level up do not count towards weapon level (as previously mentioned).

Earning money When placing Store furniture, try to maximize Prices. Large amounts of the various types of coloured String (e.g. Brown String) are required when enhancing armor, so avoid crafting Cloth (e.g. Brown Cloth) if you can. The colored stones (e.g. Blue Stone), however, accumulate easily and aren’t often used in crafting, so you may wish to craft those (e.g. Cobalt Stone) instead. Weapons wise, materials for Bows and Crystals are relatively easy to obtain compared to others.

Chapter 1: after clearing Training Ground Blue Cloth (Base Price 400) Blue String can be obtained from harvesting at Southern Shore at Lake Shisetika. Start the battle without any characters, then deploy one character at the top-right deployment gate, harvest the spot directly above, then leave immediately. If Yuela has her Beast Master Armor, you can enhance it just enough to get the Mine skill, and then have her mine the spot below the top-right spawn while another character harvests above it. When the shop is Lv2, place down the Ornate Sword (+20 Sales) and a Wooden Box (+6 Stock), as well as multiple Hard Beds in the room. Assign the characters with the highest Service stat to be clerks. Earning a profit just from selling stuff at the Shop is difficult this early in the game, so you may want to sell rare mob drops at the Shop or to the Church as well.

Chapter 3 and on Big Clay Doll (Base Price 400) Each Earth Kiln placed in the yard produces one Big Clay Doll every 20 days.

Barrel (Base Price 400) Pair of Barrels (Base Price 640) Wooden Counter (Base Price 400) Wood and Good Wood are obtainable at Underground Lake in Yuma Lake. Head right from Home Base to harvest. Ivy is produced from Soybean Garden yard furniture once every 3 days. With 66 Tools or above in the Workshop, it’s possible to craft Barrel Pile with just 1 Wood (and 1 Ivy), greatly increasing efficiency. Additional benefits of this strategy are that this is available early in the game, that you’ll only have to harvest from one location and that no combat is required. You’ll get Pumpkins as well by harvesting from that spot, so Pumpkin Ornament (Base Price 1000) can be crafted for sale if you have spare Ore. If you have more Ivy than Wood to craft Barrels with, consider replacing a few of the Soybean Gardens with other yard furniture. This method may yield more Santoeril per hour than the Sei Goble hunting method described near the bottom of this section. Gorgeous Bookshelf (Base Price 1600) Gorgeous Wardrobe (Base Price 2400) Wood and Good Wood are obtainable at Underground Lake in Yuma Lake. Head right from Home Base to harvest. Magic Stones are easily obtainable at Sunlit Clearing in Yuidora Woodland by heading right from Home Base to the mining spot. Materials from two different maps are needed, but the high selling price of Gorgeous Wardrobe (mutated from Gorgeous Bookshelf) makes up for it.

Chapter 5 and on Grazam bow (Base Price 2560) Materials: Seton Steel, Quality Branch, Ivy

Seton Steel: farmable at Bottomless Pit, Yuidora Mine. After starting the battle, deploy a character that has 6 Move or more and the Mine skill on the tile below Home Base. That allows the character to reach the mining spot without entering combat. Quality Branch: Ancient Ruins at Runic Forest Ruins at the bottom left of the map. Ivy: Soybean Garden yard furniture once every 3 days. Pumpkin Ornament (Base Price 1000) Pumpkins are from Yuma Lake – Underground Lake, obtained while harvesting for Wood and Good Wood as above. Ore is from Yuidora Mine – Bottomless Pit when mining for Seton Steel as above. Violet Stones (Base Price 560) Crafted with Purple Stones from Deadbeat Dungeon and Gallstones from dungeons and Great Eagle Roost aren't too bad too. May at least offset home expenses.

Chapter 5 and on (works best in Chapter 7 and up) Jungle Tribeland in Amurent Forest has a Treasure Putetto. Its drops can be sold at the Church. With a Ful’s Mill equipped, one kill can earn anywhere from 4000s (Bag of Gold x 2) to 10,000s (Bag of Gems x 2). This method works even better if

Yuela has Naqua Ninja Blade, and Yuela is level 30 or you have Kouhakuren Equip Yuela with the Naqua Ninja Blade. After starting the battle, deploy Yuela on the tile to the left of Home Base and have her attack the Treasure Putetto. The Naqua Ninja Blade has Death attribute to it, which may allow her to instant-kill the Putetto. She won’t be able to reach it within one turn, however, unless she is at least level 30. If she’s not level 30 yet, you can have Kouhakuren send her there with Displace. From chapter 7 and onwards, you can also equip Wil with Ful’s Mill and have him mine, while any other character collects the harvesting spot, then immediately withdraw. All this will net you Soil, Wood and 4000-10000s in one single turn. Because you need just Wil + Yuela + one harvesting character for this, you can also have other characters do Clerk duty and sell stuff at the same time.

4000s per trip will definitely exceed home expenses, so this is a pretty stable income source. Recommended for people who want to earn money without having to decide what to craft.

Chapter 8 and on, Yuela route only After completing a quest early in Chapter 8 on the Yuela Route, you’ll be able to craft Crimson Seal hammers. Materials required: Corshino Steel and White String Corshino Steel: Bottomless Pit, Yuidora Mine. Deploy character with Mine and move 7 or more at Home Base to reach the mining spot south. If you want, deploy another character with move 5 and above on the tile below Home Base to reach the harvesting spot. Alternatively, increase Wil’s move to 6 by equipping Ful’s Mill on him or some accessory/Pan Gem. With Double Action, he can harvest and mine the two locations in one turn. Alternatively, deploy Wil from the Deployment Gate on the left. With Double Action and a Wing Bracelet, he can reach the mining spot on the left. White String: Yuidora Woodlands – Peaceful Grounds. Bottom right collection point – character withTeleport (Yuela after enhancing her clothes, etc) and 5 or more move, deploy at Home Base. If your character with Teleport has only 4 move, deploy her in third spot from the left before the battle begins. You’ll have to fill the first two slots with some other characters. If you’re going to be repeating this collection run many times, it’s best to just have a 5 move character with teleport rather than adjust it so that a 4 move character can reach the harvesting spot. Top right collection points: deploy Wil (with Double Action) at the top right deployment gate and harvest both points in one turn. To reduce materials needed when crafting, upgrade Workshop to Lv 9 and place multiple The Mess (+7 tools) furniture to reach 66 tools total.

Chapter 8 in general Aside from Crimson Seal, More Boxes, Iron Weapon Stand, Smelling Salts, Light Pink Dye, Brown Cloth, Fruit Spice/Honey Barrel can be crafted by harvesting from the aforementioned locations. If you intend to finish the 50 Fruit Spice quest in the second game, you may want to save up for that (even though there are yard furniture that produces Ripe Apples and Aromatic Herbs). Leftover materials are Reyshia Steel, Branches and Elven Herbs.

Corshino Steel is more easily obtained than White String, so you may want to craft Iron Counters from leftover Corshino Steel and Ore. If Reyshia Steel is in excess, you may want to craft Reyshia Shields. (Base Price 4000) Materials: Reyshia Steel, Floating Stone. Workshop Lv9 required. Floating Stones can be excavated at Mountain in the Sky (Cliffside Church). Use a character with Teleport and 4 move or more (Yuela, etc) to be able to reach the mining spot in one turn. Second playthrough and onwards (NG+) Barrel Pile (Base Price 960) Materials required: Plywood 1, Ivy 1 Plywood can be obtained by collecting Wood at Peaceful Grounds (Yuidora Woodland), then converting to Good Wood, Refined Wood, then Grade A Wood. Make sure that your Workshop has at least 66 Tool points so that you’ll need only 1 Wood per Grade A Wood. Ivy: Place 5-7 Soybean Gardens in the Yard. Have two characters with Double Action and 6 or more Move, one of them with Teleport (e.g. Wil and Yuela). Choose to deploy them before the battle starts. When the stage starts, have the character without Teleport claim the top-rightmost harvest point. The character with teleport should claim the other two in the first turn, then withdraw. Rinse, repeat. The items crafted with the materials from this location do not sell for much, but ~19 materials are obtained per run, with 1 run every 15-20 seconds, so the yield per unit time should be pretty high. 15 runs (over 30 days) will net 50~70 Wood and therefore the same number of Barrel Piles. These barrels will take ~1 minute to craft and put into the shop. 6 minutes (real time) of hunting and crafting will yield 150,000 – 200,000s. If you are currently on Yuela route, or plan to go on Yuela route, you may want to save up the White Strings for crafting Crimson Seal hammers for sale then. Wood and Good Wood from Underground Lake (Yuma Lake) also works when crafting Barrels. The only unwanted material from harvesting there is pumpkin, so 30 days of farming Underground Lake will yield 60-70 Wood + Good Wood. There’s only one harvest point which is reachable even without Double Action. Pumpkin Ornaments can be crafted from unwanted Pumpkins as above.

Watcher Claws (Base Price 4000)

50 Tools and above needed to craft Watcher Claws from 1 Reyshia Steel and 1 Kankuri Fragment. Great for those who don’t have enough Floating Stones to craft Reyshia Shields. Kankuri are a common enemy in the latter half of the game so Kankuri Fragments are easily obtainable. If you have to farm for the fragments, send Serawi, Emelita, Black Eushully or other characters with ranged attacks to Wartorn Ruins (Chaotic Warground) or other maps where Kankuri spawn in large numbers. Be sure to equip them with Ful’s accessories.

Append disk only – with Hannah’s Pilgrimage Buy Salves (Hit Salve, etc) for 300s, sell for base price 800s. Buy 8 types of salves in large quantities, respec your shop to focus on only Prices, place as many beds and have the maximum number of clerks possible. This method is only effective if you have a large base fund. If you don't have about 500k Santoeril at least, other method may be faster. Buying 999 of all 8 types of salves will take about 800 seconds of holding down the mouse button (or 13 minutes and 20 second). The 8 x 999 salves will take 800 seconds to put them into the shop (albeit divided into multiple trips), so this is one downside to this method. Be careful not to accidentally right click in the middle of buying, which will reset all the salves you were about to buy. Try skipping 3 days at a time in town until all salves are sold. Number of days taken depends on clerks, shop level and so on – 11 to 12 days may be needed to sell 8 x 80 salves. This method may yield about 4,000,000s per half hour. Be careful not to go bankrupt, and keep in mind that money is capped at 9,999,999s.

Sei Goble hunting (1-1.5mil per hour) The Goble Axes and Shell Shields rare drops from Sei Gobles sell for a lot. Equip a character with Ful’s Mill and Ful’s Tears and hunt Sei Gobles. Note that this method requires a strong character. The main map for hunting is Demonic Banquet – Yuidora Mines EX (Ragena Ruins also works, but the spawns seem somewhat slower). With the Shop at Lv10 and multiple Safes and statues, you should be able to reach 300 Prices. Goble Axe will sell for 35,000s and Shell Shields for 25,000s then. Sei Goble have a rather high level, and you may therefore want to use a character leveled up at King Putetto with Marwen Accessories. Suitability of characters for use in hunting are in the following order: Mylen > Ragsmuena ≧Ms Eukleia > Yuela

Mylen: has physical resist, high evade and Ferocity. Naqua Ninja Blade. Long-range attack. At Lv 99 and with Naqua, Mylen will have 90 Evade (or 95?), causing enemies to hit only 5% of the time. Ragsmuena: physical resist, Vorpal Counter, instant-kill skills and weapons. Instant-kill procs the easiest for Ragsmuena compared to the other characters, and is even better if you have the Guilty Scythe from winning her gauntlet at the arena in the last chapter of the previous game. Ms Eukleia: physical resist and instant-kill skill. Instant-kill skill has high SP cost, thus requiring constant SP healing items or time to recover her SP with Concentrate. She kills too slow with normal attacks. Yuela:Prevail, Ferocity, Undress, Soul Shield, or Sword Flash. The best skill combination seems to be Counter III, Vorpal Counter III, Flurry III and Ferocity III while equipped with Naqua Ninja Blade. Death can proc with Naqua even when countering. Her HP also won’t decrease much if you don’t move her from Home Base (?) so Prevail and Undress don’t come into effect anyway. The downside of this method is that this is quite repetitive and you’ll be doing the same thing for a long period of time, but looking at the total value of items for sale will blow your sleepiness away.

Make money while training in Deadbeat Dungeon Deadbeattroll (level 46) drops Treasure Chest at a great rate. With only Ful's Mil equitpped, you should get about 1 Treasure Chest per dungeon run. With Ful's Mil + Ful's Tears, about 2~3. Now training a 10 members team take quite alot of run. Everytime you train someone by hitting King Pulleto, use another character (preferably those who is traing weapon mastery or train weapon level) to kill the Deadbeattrolls. After the 10 members got to 99, you should get 40~50 treasure chests Now, I KNOW this method is slow. But it is convenient. You are training there anyway and killing these guys only take a moment. This is especially useful when you are in first playthrough training without Demeter Gems.

Misc. Info: Level-up mechanics

Stat gains at level up At every level up, you have a chance to add +0, +1, or +2 to most stats (HP is the exception- it is +0/+1/+2 for Suina, and possibly some others, but most characters will get +1, +2, or +3). Every stat has a "hidden stat" associated with it. It ranges from 0 to 99 (numbers assumed, there's no way to see them in-game). When you level up, a value is added to it (5-40, say). Then a random number (1-100) is rolled. If the sum total is 100 to 199, you get +1. If 200 or more, you get +2. In either of those cases, the "hidden stat" is reset to zero, but if you get +0, then the "hidden stat" rolls over. This is a means of making stat increases random to an extent, but also guaranteeing a degree of stat progression if your luck sucks (not the Luck stat, your relationship with the Random Number God). Anyway, you don't want to get +2. In order to do it, you need to get +0 for at least 4-8 levels in a row. The precise effect of the Malwen accessories, and the value added to the hidden stat at each level up are yet unknown, but physical characters definitely have higher values for their physical stats, and the magical characters have higher values for their magical stats. This may possibly change between ranks, or even between individual levels. Save-scumming level ups for stats Since level up stats growth are calculated on the beginning of each turns, characters can get noticeably better stats by saving, ending the turn, then leveling up, and reloading if stats gained were not satisfactory. The effect may be more pronounced if used in conjunction with Marwen's Necklace and Ring. It's not as fast and gives lower stats than repeated transmigration, but may still be useful in the first game.

Yuela status comparison Added by Pikokola To the left in the image is Yuela which always wears Marwen Necklace when leveling up and selected stats growth, and to the right is Yuela's stats without actual planning on stats growth during level up. Notice the difference on light blue bar (raw stats). Ignore the numbers to the right and dark blue bars.

Misc. Info: Farming stat-up stones Lyphia and Evelyn’s (Quest 106) becomes available in the second game (NG+) and onwards. The second battle that occurs at Sealed Darkness (Yusof Riverbed) has 4 bosses that immediately respawn when killed, unless you kill them using Lyphia's or Evelyn's Combo attacks. Each time one of these 4 bosses dies, it will drop an item that permanently improves a stat. The bosses drop stones for: Strength, Defense, SP and FP. Kill the SP and FP ones permanently with Lyphia/Evelyn’s combo, then for the rest of the battle keep killing the other two as often as you can each turn with the other characters. Tartarus Envoy (brown/earth) – Diana Stone (SP) Niflheim Envoy (blue/ice) – Phoebus Stone (FS) Hell Envoy (red/fire) – Mars Stone (Strength) Gehenna Envoy (green/wind) – Vulcan Stone (Constitution) Spirit Envoy (final boss that appears after the four bosses die) – Jupiter Stone (HP) They will drop one stone for normal kills, two for characters with a Ful's Mill and four for kills by characters using both Ful's Mill and Ful's Tears. Kill the remaining bosses by turn 59 with the Lyphia/Evelyn combo, then kill the final boss that spawns. At level 99, the final boss can be killed in one hit by most characters and will be in range of every character with a range 9 attack (Eushully for example). This method allows 18 Kills per turn over a period of about 55 turns. Adding in another 110 kills for self defense, that's 1100 kills. Each kill will drop at least one permanent upgrade to Strength or Defence.

Assuming 2 characters with +1 to drop rate and 2 characters with +3, this comes under ideal circumstances out to: 5 x 2 x 55 Items + 2 x 2 x 55 Items + 2 x 4 x 55 Items + 4 x 110 Items = 1650 Items as a maximum yield.

Misc. Info: in-game limits Max number of days since last settlement: 38 days (first game with Misanshel), 53 days (with append disk stuff) Items: 999? Strength, constitution, intelligence, resistance, speed and luck (STR, CON, INT, RES, SPD and LUK) are capped at 100 for all characters at the end of the game. This cap is indicated by the gray bar in the character’s status screen, and the character’s natural stat is indicated by the light blue bar. Both of these are capped at 100. Any additional stat is indicated by the blue bar. The number to the right is the sum of the character’s natural stat (that increases with levels up) and the stats from equips, and can exceed 100.

The other stats (MOV, Service, etc) do not increase with level up, but can be increased with equips, new titles, Gems on clothing, or story events.
