The Purchaser should not install any filters or unnecessary flow impediments in the lube supply line from the oil tank to the engine lube pump inlet. If a manual shutoff valve must be installed in the lube supply line for maintenance or other reasons, the valve should be equipped with a flag and padlocked position guard so that a deliberate, planned act is required to close it.
