It is aligned with standard curriculum and instructions. Needs more constant encouragement in studies, assessment tools and more review or tutorial is important too. Removal examination is not necessary for me because I think it is just a waist o time for the proceeding of my other lessons. Determined the capacity of the learners with regards their comprehension. This would also measure their own capability of learning in which their awareness is higher expected once more. Somehow, having 50% or more learners will get low score in your test it doesn’t mean that you didn’t work for your task. It is in that way that maybe that student on that situation did not work well in the exam or they didn’t study, or they don’t feel okay.

1.How did you evaluate the performance of your learners? Do you reflect on their responses and review their achievements? How? Which of this form were mostuseful? Why? Answer» It is important to use different assessment for the lessons because the performance of understanding can be measured on how students reflect upon self assess their learning. Answer» Through observation and reading guidelines of different teaching strategies, I learned some style to be useful in teaching. Different strategies should be done every day so that students will have interest on your lesson on your lesson proper. Through student’s participations,

performance results, apply with innovations through actual behaviors. The resource materials to be used are one problem in achieving such activities.

be active in thinking immediately and by that, the teacher will also provide questions that can arouse children’s knowledge and participation. 2. What strategies do you think worked well in changing (transitioning) the lesson?

2.How often do you ask for specific feedback and advice from you mentors? In what way will you able to check on my progress and achievements? Answer It is much better to hear feedbacks and advice as much as possible. It can help s beginners to understand and learned more about teaching profession. What should you do to successfully improve your teaching performance? Answer All critiques should be considered as good, for it will help us improve and gain knowledge. Trials errors as well as feedbacks are important and part of learning process. To improve our teaching performance one’s should act professionally, committed, emotionally matured, interested in teaching profession, competent and willing to adjust to any changes. Reflection on EVALUATION There’s a lot of ways to evaluate your student’s performance. This may be in actual form of assessment or into a process of written response assessment. Upon evaluating the performance of the student their achievement must be made detailed by the teacher in order to be fair to the students. The students will find the assessment of the teacher if the teachers will used different varied forms of activity in the assessment. Through these, the assessment must also introduce to the student what it is. When formative assessment needs to apply or and when to apply the summative form. Moreover, teachers must think further about every assessment him going to use. He must also ready to give feedback to her students and ready to recognized and accept the feedback from their mentors. They must also organize her evaluation. And for your personal when conducting assessment so that you can reflect the result and yourself through making the assessment.

There are lots of strategies that can be applied to the lesson, yet there’s no perfect way of what’s the best way of it. The only thing is that the strategy should be appropriate with the lesson taken. As for me, the strategies that worked well in changing the lesson were the activities like group discussion, brainstorming and individual performances. These kinds of activities can help the students to learn by sharing while working in a group. Individual performances will help the students to analyze and to do the task on their own, by this, the teacher will be able to know if how far that students learned the particular topic. 3. What would you like to improve in your transitioning from one lesson to another? I have so many things to improve in my lesson plan including the organization, strategies and the time. The part of making the lesson plan is to plan for the objectives. The objectives serve as the goals to be attained and to know the desired outcomes at the end of the lesson. As for me, it’s really hard to start with the objectives, especially in fitting all the activities in the time allotment given. I want to improve my teaching style in such a way that I could apply all the activities that are imposed in my lesson plan and to deliver the lesson to the students properly with mastery and confidence. Reflective Questions:

What learning insights have you gained in evaluating your self-made lesson plan? The learning insights that I have learned in making my own lesson plan was how to manage the time. In making the lesson plan, it is very important that the set of activities should be acquired in the time allotment given. To start the process of organizing your time, you need to be aware of how you use your time and why. There is no need to confine time management to just one area of your life such as work. You can apply the principles to all areas of your life in order to achieve a better balance of activity all around.

1. Which particular activity will you be involved in? Why? The activity that I was able to join with was the intramurals day. It was easy for me to join that particular activity since it was held on Saturday. I did give my full time in taking pictures as part of my documentaries and watch their programs. 2. How often will you involve yourself to this kind of activity? Why?

1. After you observed the Cooperating Teacher’s lesson transition, what were your realizations?

Not all times that I can join in this kind of activity, only if the school will celebrate it then I will be able to join.

I learned so many things while I observed my cooperating teacher’s teaching style. During her lesson presentation, imparting knowledge to the students must always be paired with interaction between the teacher and the students. The art of questioning helps the learners to

3. How does this activity help student learning?

The intramurals day includes many activities like sports, search pageant and literary contests. These activities will help the students to build cooperation, team work and sportsmanship. As a teacher, which co-curricular or extra-curricular activities would you like to be involved in? Why? I prefer to choose the intramurals day, because it let the students enjoy their moments to perform and give their best in many contests. The said activity can build stronger relationships between the students and the teachers to help each other to promote learning by doing. Individual Teaching

2. What problems have you encountered in preparing your test? How can you respond to them? The problems that I encountered in making test items are giving correct instructions and the reliability of the test. To avoid errors in making test items, I make sure that the test items have basis. It must be based from the lesson or topic that had been discussed. 3. Do your test items provide for a wide range of differences in ability? How? For me, it provides wide range of student learning abilities, in such a way that it can make the students think and how well they have understood the lesson. For example, you will give a drama presentation to the students. As a group they will be able to create own scripts and roles. By presenting their characters in drama, the students will be able to identify which personality they are belong, for example they can be villains and protagonist, singers and some creatures. By that, you can see different talents and wide range of learning activities for the students.

1. How have you maintained the pupil’s enthusiasm while you were teaching? Give 2 examples. Assessment and Evaluation Yes, as a teacher, I provide activities that will always enhance their enthusiasm like games and presentation. Students are really fond of a game, that’s why I made the activities as games which are part and suitable in the lesson. Presentation like role playing, drama, etc., can motivate students to give their best on their specific roles.

2. What practices have you observed and tried out in providing for the varying needs of the learners or individual differences? How often have you done it?

The large population in a classroom cannot cater all the needs of the students by just a teacher. This is one of the teacher’s dilemmas, but as to give aid to this, the teacher must think and find activities that can enhance and develop learning and must see to it that all students can participate with it. I let the students to work individually but to present it as a group. In that way, all of them can participate and share ideas together. I have done this in every lesson and as a part of daily activities. 3. Describe 2 changes you made during the lesson. Why did you make these changes? The two changes that I made during the lesson were the set of activities and the evaluation part. It is very important to have varieties of activities which are appropriate for the lesson so that you can provide wide range of learning for the students. The evaluation part will depend on the desired results in the entire lesson. These changes help me to determine students’ improvement and development. Test Preparation 1. What measures have you taken to assure yourself that your test items were clear and simple? In making my test items, I based the test from the topic that had discussed and to the set of objectives which serves as my goals in attaining the development of the students. As a teacher, you are responsible to make sure that the tests are valid and reliable. You must be accurate in terms of giving directions and choices.

A. EVALUATION OF THE LEARNERS 1. How did you evaluate the performance of your learners? Do you reflect on their response and review their achievements? How? I evaluate the performance of the learners based on their performance skills and the traditional way which is the paper-and-pencil tests. It’s very important that you always supervise the improvements and the things that they need to be improved, so that you will know the appropriate strategies that you can apply to the learners who are advanced and low.

2. Do you use varied forms of assessment for the lessons? What are these forms of assessments? Provide 3 examples For me, if the assessment is on the performance skills of the learners, the best way is to rate them by the use of rubrics. Rubrics are an assessment tool that can rate a skills or performance by the use of criteria. There are also some summative assessment tools which are very useful in checking student’s mastery, and that will vary depending on the activity and exercises given. 3. How do you use assessment results as importation in further planning your lessons? I used a summative assessment strategy which is a performance task with Rubric or Scoring Guides. The example of it are the activities which can be applied or performed like drama, play and other presentations which can help the students demonstrate what they know and what they can do. For the formative strategy, the easiest form of information to collect or analyze about your student’s learning is their regular work in the form of homework, quizzes, and tests. This information will be richer if you include questions that require students to explain their thinking. It is especially helpful to ask questions that require students to apply their thinking to a new situation that you have not discussed in class. This requires flexible thinking on their part and should reveal how they are thinking well than questions that allow them to say back what they have memorized.

I also must possess the attributes of being a teacher, because as a model of the students it is very important that you are the role model to your learners and has mastery in teaching the subject. On Test Preparation 1. What Types of Information about pupil’s/student’s progress can be obtained by marking the test? The students’ progress can be obtained in a way that what they have achieved in test results will be based on what they have learned. It also depends upon how the test items are constructed especially on its structure. It must not only focus on knowledge skills but also on how they will apply and analyze situations in real life.

As I observed my CT, she practiced the students to be respectful and behave to the teachers and to the visitors. She provides variety of questions to let them think and analyze. The teacher takes complete responsibility for guiding students' actions constitutes a different learning environment than one in which students are encouraged and taught to assume responsibility for their own behaviors. She also provides rules to be followed outside and inside the classroom.
