What is an informal letter? Well, my family and I went there on Sunday, 22 June 2008. I did not know that big birds like the peacocks can fly until I saw some of them flying up to a tree. We had a strange encounter at the open-air food terrace. While we were having our lunch, a peacock came along and pecked at a six-year-old girl’s nose. The child was holding an ice-cream cone and walking around when the peacock decided to share her dessert. The girl was so frightened that she screamed at the top of her lungs. The diners quickly chased the peacock away. Fortunately, it was not a serious injury and a restaurant staff put a plaster on the girl’s nose. After the incident, we went to the gift shop where I bought a stuffed toy penguin. It reminded me of the penguin in the movie “Happy Feet”. I enjoyed myself at the outing.
