Comments: •

An acid wash with 15% HCl was used to both pickle the tubing and dissolve some of which was casing restrictions in the near well bore area. The acid was left to soak in the formation and then over displaced so not to cause any precipitations in the NWB

We could see the decrease in pressure once acid started hitting the top perforations which caused a decrease in pressure. This made us be able to pump at higher rates compared to the last trial

The second step was making sure that the formation could with stand prop when reaching inside and that was done by pumping a cross-linked gel with a 1ppg from which we did prove that the formation could take the prop slug although a pressure increase could be seen but this was due to the decrease in hydrostatic pressure and flushing the volume with 7% KCL caused friction to increase that also did effect the pressure trend. Please find attached the job graphs below.

The job design for this stage proposed was to reach to 6ppg with a rate of 25bpm. After watching the stages pumped we recommend the job to be pumped at 20bpm with a maximum sand concentration of 5ppg.

The option of changing the schedule, pumping rate and prop concentration will all depend on the pressure respond that will be seen during pumping.

The job is still critical although pressure limits were better then the trials conducted before. Screen out is still a condition that could be seen during the main treatment.
