Floating Fountain Units MINI, MIDI and MAXI OASE Floating Fountain Units are installed where other standing units can not be used because of variable water levels, where water depth is prohibitive or ground soil is unfavourable. They are a single unit, completely premounted and ready for immediate operation. The skilfully engineered anchoring system ensures the safety of the installation. The professional switch plant, complete with all necessary safety precautions required, guarantees electrical safety. The robust floating body keeps the unit stable on the surface, while masking the underwater technology. Water is drawn by the unit just underneath the surface, thus not interfering with natural underwater temperatures. While operating the unit ensures a supply of the necessary oxygen by circulating the water, that fish and plants thrive. Various fountain nozzles and illumination sets are available. Beautiful water displays able to make the looks of your pond more attractive during the day and even more fascinating at night.

Perfect illumination gives the water a sparkling and brilliant glow, making the water feature a highly decorative eye catcher at night. Because easy to use for temporary installation it is made to highlight various events giving your environment a very distinct touch.
OASE Floating Fountain Units are fast and easy to install. Just float the fountain to the desired location in the pool or lake and anchor it in place.
The underwater lights are available, complete with cable in sets of 3, 6 or 9 lights.
Thanks to their flat shape they can even be installed in pools with low water levels. The body of the floating fountains is filled with a special foam, allowing the fountain to float just below the water surface. This allows all the technical working parts to remain hidden, and even fluctuating water levels have no adverse effect on the operation of the fountain (except in extreme conditions), provided it does not fall below the minimum water depth. As the pump is priming just below the water level, the natural temperature layering remains unchanged. The movement of the water through the fountain spray patterns helps bring needed oxygen to the water, thereby controlling algae growth. For each of the 2 floating fountains types MIDI and MAXI, you can choose from 8 different, interchangeable fountain nozzles. The nozzles can be installed and changed in just a few minutes.

Illumination For the MINI only sets of 3 underwater lights are available. MIDI and MAXI floating fountains can be equipped with 3, 6 or at most 9 lights.
Electric Control (MIDI + MAXI) The floating fountain is supplied with an electric control panel, allowing the control of the pump and of the illumination circuit. The fountain is fitted with all necessary protection and safety devices.

Floating Fountain Special • Special designed stainless steel floating fountains Standard floating fountains based on plastic or foam floats are due to the limited payload restricted in fountain height to about 20 m. On customer demand OASE provides special designed stainless steel solutions for spray heads up to 125 m. These floating fountains are build modularly in a way that transport and assembly on site are no problem at all. They come equipped with nozzles range from HS 70 to HS 130, and special design. Stainless steel pumps reliably connected with the fountain structure are integral part of these set-ups. As well as an anchoring system suited for water depths beyond the usual 2 - 3 m. Even a sea water resistant quality can be fabricated. So applications in areas were tidal changes, wind and wave conditions do not exceed a certain range are conceivable without a doubt. Off course these fountains can be illuminated as well. Since the diameter of a typical set-up for a 60 m spray height runs up to 10 m there is space enough to accommodate quite a number of underwater lights in the perimeter of the steel structure to illuminate the fountain efficiently.

OASE Aqua-Media Systems offer an impressing combination of light water and music effects. A variety of nozzles and fountain heads of different size and design form a music-controlled jet display with the advantage of multiple movements. The OASE Vario-Switch is a device which combined with the appropriate nozzle, is ideally suited for application in musical fountains or more general water features with a high degree of dynamic action. It is working like a 3/2- way valve and thus switches with almost no pressure loss (Water hammer in connection
pipes is totally avoided). One of the switches generally serves as a bypass only, but of course, if needed, it could be equipped with a second nozzle as well.
The Switching is done by a reciprocal inlet of atmospheric air pressure, utilizing the so called Coanda effect. To establish the air supply, the Vario Switch is equipped with an extendable air pipe mounted on top of the device. By using 2 solenoid valves for air control OASE provided the possibility, not only to switch between the “on and off” state, but holds the opportunity to go for two more repeatable intermediate states.

Each of these states means an intermediate step in the fountain heights. The 2-Valve-Technology further has the advantage that with power-off, the air-channels and so even the installation space of the valves are protected against water inleakage, that definitely contributes to the durability of the valves itself and the valve seats. The transit time of the switch is depending on the flow rate and can go as low as 0,1 s. The two solenoid valves use 24 V DC. The supply of the necessary four-core cable is customer service. It is strongly recommended to dismount the Vario-Switches before the sudden frost.

Mylar Lace Fountains Systems • Attractive design concept • Remarkable room divider
OASE-mylar lace fountain systems represent an interesting design element in fountain technology.
• Effective room humidifier As the water is running noiselessly and without spraying downwards along the special mylar laces, many possible applications are offered. Indoors the mylar lace fountain can devide a room or form a glittering curtain and provides also a suitable room climate. OASE mylar fountains basically consist of a bottom water reservoir and a water distribution system with a multitude of mylar nozzles and the corresponding number of adjustable transparent mylar laces. The water reservoir comprises the complete technology - such as pump, overflow drain, freshwater refill, power

supply, the mylar lace conduction plate and the underwater lights. The OASE accessory program also offers other components like a water treatment with the installation of water softener, filtering and dosing plant.

The OASE Jumping-Jet systems offer unusually spectacular water displays that attract every onlooker. A precisely segmented water jet suddenly escapes from a shooting unit, flies in a parabolic arch through the air, and disappears instantaneously and precisely into a small collection opening. Then the cycle starts again, however with a totally different spray configuration. If the observer thinks that he recognizes a certain pattern to the effects then he will be surprised by new and unusual variants. The Jumping-Jet also offers the possibility of generating a continuous water arch reminiscent of a glass rod.
In the evening hours the water display takes on a fascinating new look when equipped with lighting. It creates the impression that the water jet is freely transporting light through the surrounding darkness. OASE Jumping-Jet systems can be combined, and they can be implemented both indoors and outdoors.
OASE Jumping-Jet systems are the attraction in amusement parks, in discos, at trade shows and exhibitions, and at other events Technical note: Please be aware that water spray can be generated when operating the Jumping-Jet system. You must count on a water spray portion of app. 2 litres per hour for water spray segments shot rapidly in succession. This spraying water ratio is negligible if the water jet is operated as a full, consistent parabola.

The basic prerequisite for light transport within the water jet is that the water must be glass clear. Only then, passing through the jet stream of the parabola, the light can reach the landing point.

The OASE Komet single jet nozzles are small and medium size precision nozzles, producing a full, clear and wind stable jet. They may be used to produce a single jet or can be combined in groups of several nozzles Each Komet nozzle incorporates a ball joint so that the jet can be inclined by up to 12° from the vertical. This allows for a variety of different patterns.

Vulkan 37-2,5 to 300/19-8 T • Multi-step water pattern • Precise, full stream • Independent from water level • Easy to clean
The OASE Vulkan multi jet nozzles create a beam of jets that cascade at different levels. The single jets are clear and relatively wind stable. The fountain height of the Vulkan 19-3 T and 43-3 T jets, by means of a built-in throttle, can be smoothly adjusted without steps. For types 37-2,5 K, 200/19-6 T and 300/19-8 T the correct fountain height setting must be adjusted by installing an external regulation valve. The Vulkan 200/19-6 T and 300/19-8 T are equipped with nozzles from the Komet range which allows for individual jet adjustment. For cleaning, the upper lids can be removed.

The OASE multi jet finger nozzles create a water fan with a spread of 60°. Depending on the type of design, the nozzle holes are arranged in single or double rows.
For cleaning of nozzles the large lid on the upper side of the nozzle's body can be removed. To achieve the right parabola size an external regulating valve has to be installed.

Fountain Rings 500/18/4 to 2000/72/4 • Decorative water patterns • Precise and full stream • Independent from water level • Special versions on request The jets of the OASE fountain rings and double rings as a standard are manufactured that they are adjusted to come up in a vertical position. The individual nozzles are soldered to the fountain ring. In order to create individually shaped water patterns, the nozzle pipes can be inclined inwards and outwards with appropriate tools. The fountain rings are supplied as a standard with multi peripheral inlets and as special design available with a centre inlet. By selecting different fountain ring sizes the rings can be arranged concentrically as double or multiple rings.

The OASE multi jet nozzles Pirouette and Rotation nozzle produce effective, rotating water displays. The seven- jet nozzle is kept in continuous rotation by the recoil of the slanted nozzle pipes. Six transparent and wind stable jets of the Pirouette revolve around a central jet. Using the Rotation Jet nozzle, a variety of different dancing water patterns can be created by means of the 5 Komet nozzles. The fountain height of the jets can be adjusted, by means of an external regulation valve. The ball-bearing, rotating mechanism guarantees trouble-free operation even when in continuous use.

The OASE foam spray and foam spring nozzles, unlike Cascade and Geiser, function independently from water level. Changes in water level will have no effect on the water pattern. For inlets of water cascades, for multi-stepped pools or fountain installations with water reservoir at lower level, this nozzle type has a wide field of applications, since non-return valves, which are often troublesome, are not required here. Due to the high quantity of air that is mixed in, a voluminous water effect is achieved using a relatively small quantity of water. This makes the foam jet very soft, highly compact and exceptionally foamy. It stands out, highly visible against its surroundings.

The OASE Cascade foam effect nozzles are injector nozzles that are depending on water level, which is unlike to foam spray and foam spring nozzles of series Schaumsprudler. Because of the injection effect, the surrounding water and air are sucked in, intensively mixed and thrown high into the air by the injector jet. This has an economical effect, since with a relatively low pumping power a voluminous, tapered fountain jet can be achieved. However the water pattern can change due to varying water levels. When below the standard water level, the jet is thinner but also higher, when above, it is fuller but also lower. In certain basin arrangements a surging effect may appear. When the waves become stronger the fountains begin to dance, often seen as a very interesting

special effect. Non-return valves must be provided in installations with different water levels, since otherwise when switching off, the water level will fall to the injection height.

This has an economical effect, since with a relatively low pumping power a voluminous fountain jet can be achieved, but, compared with the effect and shape produced by the Cascade nozzles, the shape of the jet is more cylindrical. However the water pattern can change due to varying water levels. When below the standard water level, the jet is thinner but also higher, when above, it is fuller but also lower. In certain basin arrangements a surging effect may appear. When the waves become stronger the fountains begin to dance, often seen as a very interesting special effect. Non-return valves must be provided in installations with different water levels, since otherwise when switching off, the water level will fall to the injection height.

OASE-well water outlets were designed for reproduction or restoring of historical public wells and fountains. These were originally known to supply the population with drinking water and were fed by water from a source or an “artesian well”. Nowadays the water comes from the mains and is circulated by an electrical centrifugal pump. The reproduction of these public wells are an enrichment for the general aspect of our towns and villages. An oasis of silence in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the everyday life and a pleasant and welcomed refreshment on hot summer days for old and young. The OASE water well outlets are cast from tombak, and due to their strong wall thickness highly resistant to wear and tear. Due to their design with screw-in nipple and O-ring seal they can be easily mounted.

The OASE Atlantis 200 fountain pump is a powerful pump, especially designed as submersible pump for underwater operation. The symmetrical, round and large volume filter housings make these pumps particularly stable. As an option special fittings are available for the symmetrical installation of underwater spotlights.
These pumps have a robust wet running canned motor and run without shaft seal. The motor and pump shafts, as well as the bearings, are made from oxide ceramics. This results in particularly silent and frictionless continuous running. The materials used, such as high-grade steel, tombak and glass fibre reinforced plastics, affirm the solid make of these pumps.

The OASE universal pumps can be installed as wet running submersible pumps as well as dry pumps in a separate pump room. The robust wet running canned motor hasn't got any dynamical-
ly moving shaft seals, but only static seals. As they are fully sealed as a submersible pump, there is also no problem with a sudden water flood into the pump room.

The OASE block centrifugal pumps KRP are characterized by their compact construction and low space requirement. Without extensive preparations, time consuming adjustments or the danger of bracing of a coupling, the installation can be arranged quickly. As normally priming spiral casing centrifugal pumps they consist of only few, but functionally influenced, important parts. Maintenance works can therefore be arranged fast and easily. The basic version is made of grey cast iron. Other versions such as bronze are available on request.

The OASE UWR K 80/500 underwater tube lights, because of their slim and flat design, are especially suitable for the white monochrome illumination of waterfalls, water runs, water chutes or for the illumination of basin edges generally. They can easily be strung together to form a light chain since there is a cable inlet (PG 16) on each side. The transparent tube, made of special plastic, is held by two plastic end pieces reinforced with glass fibre. Inside there is a reflector with four sockets for lowvoltage 12 volt halogen lamps up to a max. 20 watt. The two brackets on the end pieces serve as fixings and allow stepless rotation in both directions. Because of their great variety, the OASE underwater tubular lamps are delivered without cables and bulbs. These have to be ordered separately and are sent in separate packaging.

The OASE Lunaqua 10 lighting system can be implemented constructively underwater for fountains and water displays, as well as above water for garden and park illumination. The compact spotlights are connected via special cable sets with the 12-volt safety transformer. Likewise the transformer can be implemented underwater. This enables the bridging of long distances between the 230-voltsocket and the transformer with standard cables. Lunaqua 10 is a light manufactured of impact-resistant plastic. The special structured glass cover, in conjunction with the aluminium reflector, creates optimal light exploitation. An integrated mounting bracket, optionally also available in stainless steel, permits a swivel range of approx. 180°, when e.g. it is mounted on stone slabs or on

walls. The Lunaqua 10-transformer is equipped with 4 couplings to give choice to connect 4 x 35 watt, 3 x 50 watt or 2 x 75 W, 12 V. The Lunaqua 10-power cable sets are equipped with 2 special connectors for easy connections between light and transformer. They are available in 3 different lengths.

Lunaqua 3 FT – a single light unit for all situations. This solo variant of the new Lunaqua 3 offers the possibility of establishing single and also multiple spotlight arrangements in parallel. Input and output are fitted with high quality PG-glands for connection of H05 and H07 cable, which make installation simple. The adjustable angle of beam ensures object-precise lighting. The OASE UWS T 111 and UWS TS 111 underwater spotlights were designed for professional application in public installations. They are suitable for the underwater illumination of fountains and water displays, as well as above water up to 50 W to illuminate sculptures, buildings, shrubs, bushes or trees etc. The spotlight body is made of cast tombak and has a PG 16 cable inlet. Alternatively available, at special order, are two cable inlets. In both types of spotlights the halogen-reflector lamp is protected by a 15-mm-bullet-proof glass, shielding it for almost all possible demands. Therefore no further rock guard is necessary. By means of a gasket and a tombak clamp ring the bullet-proof

The OASE MP T 3 and MP TS 3 underwater spotlights were designed for professional application in public installations. They are suitable for the underwater illumination of fountains and water displays, as well as above water up to 50 W to illuminate sculptures, buildings, shrubs, bushes or trees etc. The spotlight body is made of cast tombak, and designed to take 3 Halogen reflector lamps (single or multi-colour). It has got a PG 21 cable inlet. Alternatively available, at special order, are two cable inlets. In both types of spotlights the halogen-reflector lamps are protected by a 15-mmbullet-proof glass, shielding them

for almost all possible demands. Therefore no further rock guard is necessary. By means of a gasket and a tombak clamp ring the bullet-proof glass lens is screwed flush to the main body. A smooth and edgeless surface, where no dirt can accumulate, will reduce cleaning intervals to a minimum. However the type MPT TS 3 spotlight with built-in niche made from high-grade steel, can be swivelled 12,5° to either side and sits flush with the bottom surface of the basin. Two clamping rings provide the possibility for precise adjustment and focusing. Due to the wide range of halogen light bulbs and cable available, these have to be ordered separately.

The OASE safety transformer of the “STR 230” series are particularly suitable for use in damp locations, due to their splash water protection, and especially for power supply to 12-V-underwater spotlights. Via 3 separate cable outlet terminals individual illumination circuits can be operated. Both sides of the winding, i.e. the primary and secondary are protected by separate fuses. Additionally all transformers are protected by means of a thermal switch against temperature overloads.

OASE cable inlet fittings serve as water-tight inlets for electrical cables into fountain basins, water basins, over- flow basins, water courses, water troughs, ponds, water reservoirs, pump rooms etc.. They comprise of the fitting housing, flange plate, seal and cable glands. As a rule, cable inlet fittings are situated at the end of a conduit leading from the switchboard to the water basin. For the larger cable inlet fittings the connecting sockets are simply plugged into the sleeves of the cable protection pipes (standard waste water drain pipe KG or ED house installation pipe) and cemented in. The smaller fittings, except KDW 1, are screwed onto the PE pipe with a pipe thread. All cable inlet fittings, except KDW 1, have drilled holes for connecting to potential equalisation. The larger fittings KD 12/100 T as well as KDF 4/70T to KD 7/100T, as a standard, are suitable for basins with a liner coating.

OASE submersible terminal boxes provide a connection point for electrical components, such as underwater pumps or underwater lighting, in all fields of water technology. They provide a problem-free solution for connecting and disconnecting power cables, usually run in conduits, to the power consumers. Disconnecting the power supply may be necessary, e.g., when removing an item for the winter, or for maintenance and repair purposes. With OASE submersible terminal boxes, it is generally possible to connect and disconnect without draining the pool. UKK 1 K is a particularly economical solution for domestic or small scale use. The larger models have a transparent cover which gives the possibility to keep a visual check on the eventual build-up of condensation. All submersible terminal boxes have one or more blind plugs for glands, actually not in use.

ELECTRICAL SWITCH PLANT AND CONTROL CABINETS
Electrical Switch Plants in Standard and Special Version OASE-control cabinets are the switching and control centres of a fountain or water display installation. Manufactured according to the latest technical standards and in accordance with all necessary safety and security precautions, they fully comply with VDE regulations. A residual circuit breaker instantly switches off the unit, should a fault current load exceed 30 mA, guaranteeing safety for men and animals. A “Manual-0-Automatic” switch in combination with a 2-channeltimer allows for the automatic switching on of pumps, lighting circuits and water level control. With the switching position on “manual” the individual direct switching on of all components for control purposes is possible. Automatic circuit breakers protect the components from overload and short circuit. Special motor protection switches with 2-phaseprotection protect the motor in case of overload and 2-phase operation. Corresponding switch plants for various applications can be chosen from a standard program. Furthermore OASE will manufacture whichever individual switch plants with additional installations according to clients requests.

The OASE electronic water level control unit maintains a constant water level in fountain basins, swimming pools, ponds or containers. Water loss due to evaporation or splashing is automatically replaced from the fresh water pipeline. The water level control unit basically consists of three components: the electronic water level control unit, a water level sensor and a solenoid valve. According to the type and field of use, different versions of individual components are available. The electronic water level control is the switching centre of the control unit. If the switch is set to “automatic” and the basin is empty, the solenoid valve in the freshwater supply pipe is opened. The freshwater flows in until the maximum electrode is reached. The water now makes a conductive connection between the earth electrode and the maximum level electrode. A totally harmless, low voltage switching-control current flows and the electronics close

the solenoid valve, the refilling of freshwater is thereby interrupted. As a result of evaporation, splashing or other water losses the water level sinks until the minimum electrode is exposed. If it is no longer covered by water, the solenoid valve will open until the water level reaches the maximum electrode. With the EWR 1 water level control, it is possible to protect pumps from dry-running by simply making the connections to the relevant terminals provided on the relay. Smaller AC pumps can be connected directly. The WSS 20-3 and WSS 20-4 water level sensors have a highgrade steel housing, which also
functions as the common electrode. In the housing there is a minimum and a maximum electrode. The difference of level is permanently set to 20 mm. The WSS 20-4 version has an additional dry running protection electrode. The WSS 2000-3/5
water level sensor is for more important level differences of 2000 to 3000 mm approx., e.g. in water reservoirs and has identical functions. It has a common-electrode, a minimum electrode and a maximum electrode. A dry running protection electrode and a high level electrode can be added optionally. The electrodes are to be adjusted corresponding to the water level requirements. The solenoid valves to be connected should be preferably at 24 V, since they offer more safety and reliability.

Electronic Water Level Control Unit With the EWR 2 water level control it is possible to control the water level, as described under EWR 1. In addition, by using a further electrode, it is possible to protect pumps from dry-running by simply making the connections to the relevant terminals provided on the relay. Smaller AC pumps can be connected directly. When, due to a fault, the fresh water flow is not interrupted by the solenoid valve and the water level should then rise higher, and reach the high level electrode in the WSS 2000 sensor, the alarm would be activated. The WSS 20-3 and WSS 20-4 water level sensors have a high-grade steel housing, which also functions as the common electrode. In the housing there is a minimum and a maximum electrode. The difference of level is permanently set to 20 mm. The WSS 20-4 version has an additional dry running protection electrode. The WSS 2000/3/5 water level sensors are for greater level differences of up to 2000 mm, e.g. in water reservoirs and have identical functions. Due to influence of wind water patterns of fountains may look untidily. The water is driven out of the basin and makes the surrounding area of the basin wet and messy. In case of unfavourable or bad wind conditions the OASE wind level fountain control can reduce fountain height step by step, or switch off system completely. E.g. when operating a fountain system with one single pump, using the WFA 3/K wind control unit, depending on force of wind, the pump can be switched off at a preset wind level. In case e.g. three pumps, working together to feed one single fountain, first pump is switched off at first preset level to reduce fountain height. According to development of wind force, pump 2 and finally all pumps are switched off. Another possibility is, to install 2 motor controlled by-pass valves and, according to the wind velocity, they can be opened one after the other and in a third step the pump is switched off. As a rule the WFA 3/K control unit is mounted, next to the main control

cabinets of the fountain installation. The control cables for the pump are simply lead from the main control cabinet to the corresponding terminals of the wind control unit. It is recommended to install the anemometer near to the fountain itself, onto a pole or any suitable place on the top of a
roof. The wind conditions of the installation point of the anemometer and the fountain itself should nearly be the same. The impulse wiring of the anemometer should be screened and led on shortest way to the control box WFA 3/K.

Crystal Quartz Sand Filters • Powerful filtration • Easy handling • Compact unit • Entirely pre-assembled
OASE crystal quartz sand filters are used for filtering impurities from water in fountain basins, water basins, water courses, ponds etc. Thereby achieving a longer duration between cleaning cycles. The crystal quartz sand filter should be run independently from and parallel to the actual fountain or circulation system. This guarantees that the filter can be operated during the actual running time, periods of shutdown (such as night time) or during the whole day (full 24 hrs.). The crystal quartz sand filter is composed of a plastic filter tank reinforced with glass fibres, a pump made from same material and a multi-port valve. All components are compactly mounted onto a plastic base and pipe work completely pre-assembled. On top of the filter tank there is a large filling opening with a transparent cover and pressure gauge. Inside the filter tank, there is an upper distributor with a sieve and a lower distributor with small slit tubes. It is possible to drain the filter tank from underneath. Before initial

switching on, the filter container must be filled with the filtering medium (crystal quartz sand). The filtering procedure is as follows: the dirty water is drawn out of the basin by the pump, then forced through the crystal quartz sand filter bed from above via the multi-port valve and the upper distributor, and finally guided back to the basin via the lower distributor and the multi-port valve. The dirt remains in the profuse hollow spaces created by the sharpedged crystal quartz
sand grains. When the absorption capacity of the filter bed is used up (monitored at the pressure gauge) the direction of the multi-port valve is reversed by switching to “Backwash” and the filter bed is washed through in the opposite direction. In this way the filter bed is stirred up and loosened and the dirt is flushed into the drain. After this process of backwash (to be seen through the transparent cover of the filter tank) the multi-port valve is switched back to “Filtration”.

OASE stainless steel skimmers serve to suck in dirt particles floating on the water surface. They are built into the side wall of the basin and connected to the suction pipe of the filter pump. Inside the large volume, stainless steel skimmer housing is a suction port, masking frame and dirt strainer basket with a floating flap. Masking frame, dirt strainer basket with floating flap form a compact unit. For discharge of collected dirt particles this unit can be easily taken out from the front side. The floating flap is moving and adapts to the varying water level. It is provided to break the tension of water surface and increase the suction velocity of the skimmer inlet. Due to the increased suction velocity the floating dirt is sucked into the strainer basket more efficiently and stored inside for discharge. The skimmer housing has got a suction port from beneath.

The OASE-base outlets with dirt screen keep coarse dirt particles, accumulating on the basin floor, away from the filter system. They are cast from especially corrosion-resistant tombak. The OASEliner flange combined with the OASE-base outlet with dirt screen is used for flanging sealing liners. Also cast from especially corrosion-resistant tombak they are supplied including all screws and gaskets. The OASE-inlet fittings ESD 15 T serve for returning the filtered water back into the basin. The inlet direction of jet is adjustable at the ball-shaped nozzle and is made from high grade stainless steel. For basins with liner coatings a supplementary liner flange is available. The OASE-basin floor and wall inlets are indispensable as professional water-tight conduits through floors and walls for all kinds of pipe in- and outlet transitions. Made from high grade brass they are cemented into the floor or wall with a large size puddle flange and earthing terminal. For basins with liner coating an additional liner flange is available.

OASE offers a complete range of dosing systems and accessories, especially for care and treatment of water in water display and fountain installations. The varying water qualities of mains water supply networks and other influences on the fountain water make filtering and treatment of water indispensable. The constant PH-level should be maintained between 7,2 and 7,6. For this purpose automatic dosing with a PH-control agent becomes necessary. As a rule, this is achieved by dosing an additional amount of either acid or leaching solution. The Anti-Algae Dosing System is suitable for the addition of antialgae agent, mostly “quaternary ammonium compound“, in proportion to the quantity of freshly refilled mains water volume. To keep the fountain water approximately germ-free, an additional dosage of bactericidal agent is necessary. Quite often chlorine products such as used in swimming pools are applied. But since

chlorine affects metal, has an unpleasant smell and is problematic in application, another solution could be a bactericidal agent based on hydrogen peroxide or on silver oxide.

OASE water reservoirs made of stainless steel are equipped with all necessary inlet and outlet connections and can be arranged tailor-made on clients request. OASE offers also compact units including pump, control panel, automatic water top-up and all inand outlet connections. In this case only inlet and outlet pipes have to be connected. The pump can be either submersible or a dry-sited centrifugal unit installed on a console. The big size dome opening (manhole) with cover, allows the installation of a dirt filter screen.

The OASE Universal underground container are suitable for use as underground pump chambers, as well as water reservoirs, or generally as distribution and inspection chambers. They are completely made of polyethylene and have a cover lid made of 8 mm strong stainless steel. The strong bottom plate has bolting holes for fixing on a concrete base. In this way the containers can be protected against up welling in case of high ground water level. All necessary inlet and outlet connections are included and can be extended or modified at additional charge.

The OASE fountain installation chambers are designed and built according to the customers requirements and to the needs of the fountain system. They are available as pump housing, water reservoir or as a combination of both. The installation chambers are constructed of water-tight, reinforced concrete at factory and are painted from outside with a water-proofing coating and inside with a white paint. Water reservoirs are treated with a sealing compound as well. Man holes are supplied with covers according to DIN standards to complete the overall outside appearance. The installation chambers are supplied with all necessary wall transitions. If required, the chambers are available with factory-fitted pump technology, electrical equipment and also with accessories.

OASE basin floor and basin wall inlets are for the watertight passage of suction and pressure pipes through basin floors and basin walls made of waterproof concrete. SUCTION STRAINER BASKETS

OASE suction strainer baskets are generally mounted on the intakes of the suction pipes and in this way prevent that larger impurities enter the pump-jet circulation system. In order to achieve relatively long intervals between cleaning, the suction strainer baskets must have sufficiently large filter surfaces. This is why, for medium and large suction strainer baskets, the filter screens have been folded several times. The filter screen is made of highgrade steel with 4 mm holes. The smaller suction strainer baskets are screwed directly onto the pipe transition for the suction pipe on the basin floor. The medium and large size baskets simply are slipped on top of the suction pipe, jutting in 50 mm approx out of the basin floor, finally they are bolted on.

INFLOW AND OUTLET FITTINGS
Freshwater Supply Fittings • Adjustable to the basin depth • Base unit for the basin made of high-grade steel • Brass feed pipe, tombak inflow fitting The OASE freshwater supply fittings fill the basin and replenish evaporated water with water from the water main. The length of the fittings can be adjusted from 0 to 1000 mm. The fittings can either be free mounted or built into the sides of the basin. The mounting must be carried out according to DIN 1988 (the equivalent national regulation applies). The distance between the inflow edge and highest water level must be twice the size of the inflow diameter and a minimum of 20 mm. An electronic water level control unit can be provided for automatic filling and replenishment. The base of the fittings have concrete gaskets and can simply be cemented in together with the joining pipe. For connecting for potential equalisation special terminal holes are provided. For the flanging of sealing liners an alternative version marked „F“ is available.

OASE base outlets with plug and OASE base outlets with dirt screen are suited for draining concrete and liner coated water basins. In order to drain basins fitted with base outlets with plug, only the plug has to be removed. For draining basins fitted with base outlets having a dirt screen, a special gate valve for in-ground installation is required. To avoid clogging, for outlets with plug, a dirt screen can be ordered and fitted. The bottoms of the overflow outlet fittings have got puddle flange and can simply be pushed into the sleeve of the drain pipe and cemented in. For connecting for potential equalisation, special terminal holes are provided. For the flanging of sealing liners the corresponding liner flanges can be ordered. The OASE overflow outlet fittings provide an ideal combination of overflow and outlet. When the over-flow pipe is plugged in, the excess basin water (rain water) is led to the drain, and when it is unplugged, the basin will be drained. OASE combined overflow wall fittings offer three functions into one single unit. This means, the initial filling and replenishing of the basin, discharging overflow water into the drain and controlling of water level by means of an optionally fitted water level sensor. The fittings are usually mounted into the side wall of the basin below the edge cover. The installation is easily to be done, the overflow connection port fits into the standard sleeve of a drain pipe. The connection of the freshwater supply and of the cable protection pipes for the water level sensor is achieved using PE- pipe couplings and corresponding threaded nipples. To adjust to the water level the overflow inlet funnel can be moved by 20 mm up or down.
