0hile in a battle, Forrest runs as fast as he "oul# to get aay, an# on"e he as by himself he realise# that he ha# left 3ubba, so he runs ba"' to try an# fin# him%  An# e!ery time he ent ba"' he foun# someone else that he ha# to "arry to safety% An# he foun# 5ieutenant 8an, ho ante# to be left there so he "oul# #ie ith his platoon but Forrest too' him to safety% An# on the last trip before the air"rafts ere to bomb the area Forrest fin#s 3ubba an# 7ust in time he gets 3ubba to safety% Unfortunately, 3ubba as shot an# he #ies ne)t to the ri!er in 2ietnam, before he #ies, he says that he ante# to go home%
