Construction

 The core identificationis by coloured insulationFRMI or bicolour lining throughout the core length. For multicore cables, the cores may be laid up with the filler ( non-hygroscopic material ) and a layer of binder shall be applied over the laid up cores.

 The innersheath shall consists ofa layer of extruded low smoke halogen free mineral filled (LSHF) compound applied over the FRMI insulation for single core cable and the binder around the laid up cores for multicore cables.
