GENERAL Latest PETRONAS Technical Standards (PTS) shall be utilized for the design of all phases of the development. Where such standards are not applicable, International standards and practices will be used. List of PTS, Codes and Standards listed herein is non exhaustive. CONTRACTOR is responsible to ensure the relevant PTS, Codes and Standards, Guidelines and Procedures are strictly adhered to. a)

The Major Codes and Standards are listed only and will not be provided to CONTRACTOR. CONTRACTOR shall provide the relevant Codes and Standards, soft (text searchable pdf) and hard copies in pursuant to EXHIBIT IV – ADMINISTRATION PROCEDURE throughout the CONTRACT duration.

b)

The Project Site Procedure (PSP) is a list only and shall be generated during project execution.

In the PTS, procedures and guidelines below, COMPANY is referred to as Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PCSB), CARIGALI and/or Principle. 1.1 Document Order of Precedence

All Work shall be performed in accordance with the following order of precedence of the following codes and standards: 1.

It is the CONTRACTOR responsibility to present the issues and/or differences among the codes and standards above to the COMPANY for resolution. The more stringent requirement shall prevail unless otherwise approved by the COMPANY. Any latest amendments / new additions to the standard and regulation shall be incorporated. If the CONTRACTOR proposes to employ an alternative standard other than listed herein in this exhibit, CONTRACTOR shall seek COMPANY’s Approval first before commencing any associated activities. Failure to comply shall result in CONTRACTOR to bear all the associated expenses at its own account for rectifying the work that has been completed and/or replacing any equipment, parts and/or material as per COMPANY’s instruction.
