Words that are related to Self, Family, School and Community

Words are used in different ways to express feelings and ideas. Some words are related to self, family, school and community. Those words will help us develop our way of communication. In this lesson, you will work on series of activities. So, be ready and have fun while learning! l earning!

What’s In  

In your previous lesson, you learned about sentences and non-sentences. A sentence sentence   is a group of words that has a complete thought or idea. It starts with a big or capital letter and ends with a punctuation mark. The punctuation mark used can be a period (.) or a question mark (?). Examples:

My mother is a loving person. Are you a grade one pupil?

Non-sentence is Non-sentence  is a group of words that does not have a complete thought or idea. Its first word does not start with a capital letter. It does not have a punctuation mark at the end. Non-sentence is also called a phrase phrase.. Examples:

my father my big brother

Now, let us see if you can identify a sentence from a non-sentence.
