Ballerina Doll Crochet Pattern

Finished measurements:  Height approx 11in(28cm) Head diameter approx8in(19.5cm) Waist approx7in(18cm) Leg length approx6in(14.5cm) Arm length approx4in(10cm)

Materials and notions: Original yarn: Schachenmayr Original Сatania 100% mercerized cotton 1.75oz/50g each approx 137yds/125m.   1 skein in #0105 (A), 1 skein in #0246 (B), 1 skein in #0263 (C).

Suggested substitute yarn: SheepjesCatona, Lang Yarns Golf, ScheweBaumwolle-classic Color, Patons Grace, Rowan Cotton Glace, Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima Fine, Katia Brisa, Katia Capri, Lion Brand Yarns Bonbons Cotton. Steel hook 2mm or size to obtain gauge, Safety eyes 6mm, Stuffing, Button 6mm (3 pcs), Needle and dental floss for sewing, Soft plastic, Blush, Pliers, Cotter pin (fastener) 30mm long (2 pcs), Disk 18mm in diameter (4 pcs)

Gauge: 31 sc x 33 rows = 4in(10cm). Gauge is not critical for this project. You can use any yarn to make this doll. For F or example, if you use a bigger hook and a suitable yarn, the doll will be bigger while maintaining the same proportions.

Pattern notes: Always mark BOR to avoid shifting of the pattern. All pieces are worked in a continuous spiral; do not join with sl st unless otherwise stated.

Rows 1-35: sc in every st starting from the 2 st from the hook (9 sts), turn, see fig.57. Fasten off leaving a long tail. Fold the piece in half and sew it, see fig.58, fig .58, do not cut yarn. Then wrap tail around the piece placing seam at center, see fig.59. fig .59. nd
