Check is to be completed within 2 – 2 – 4  4 hours prior to ETOPS departure. Base (DXB)

Check passenger oxygen bottles; Minimum 3/4 full. (Ref emergency equipment check list for oxygen bottle quantity). For 207 minutes ETOPS, oxygen bottles must be FULL. Check portable fire extinguisher seals intact and quantity full. (Ref emergency equipment check list for portable fire extinguisher quantity). All Stations

Check IDG oil levels, check IDG oil filter pressure differential indications (use of MFD permitted). Left hand IDG oil uplift ________________________ Right hand IDG oil uplift ___________________________ Check backup generator oil levels, check filter pressure differential indications (use of MFD permitted).

Check brake accumulators pre-charge pressures. (Use of P1 panel permitted). Check cargo door seals for damage and security check cargo compartments for security of lining panels and sealing tape. Service Engine Oils; (Ref MM 12-13-01). Calculate oil consumption using minimum of last six sectors. (Oil Added Hours Run). Engine Oil Consumption limit is 0.66 qts/hr (GE90) and 0.70 qts/hr (RR TRENT 800). If oil consumption is more than 0.36 qts/hr (GE90) and 0.20 qts/hr (RR TRENT 800) contact Technical Services Engineering. Left hand Eng oil uplift ________________________ Right hand Eng oil uplift ___________________________ Check APU oil level using EICAS; (Ref MM 12-13-04-200-801). If less than 5qts check APU oil level at sight gauge, service to full. Calculate oil consumption using minimum of last six sectors. (Oil added  Hours run) (APU hours =  Aircraft  Aircraft hours hours  2) Maximum for ETOPS Dispatch = 0.40 qts/hr. Certify Engine and APU oil consumption rates are in limits and acceptable. Carry out water contamination check of fuel bowser at beginning and end of fuelling operations. Review all outstanding current and carried forward defects and ensure compliance with requirements of ETOPS MEL. Verify Status Level Messages and Higher are resolved or approved dispatch paperwork is applied. Review aircraft status to determine if Verification Flight Procedure is necessary I.A.W. ETOPS Manual Chapter 7 Certify ETOPS check on the aircraft Technical Log Sector Record Page. Insert an ‘x’ in the box for maximum diversion time permitted. In the absence of any MEL defects restricting the operation the diversion time will be as follows: B777-200/300/200ER: 180 minutes B777-200LR/300ER:
