It is no longer reserved for professionals or exercise junkies; the sport is now being taken up by all kinds of people and for  kinds of reasons. The statistics speak for themselves. For instance, over the last four years in Sweden, Sweden, sales sales o off all types of bicycle bicycles s have have increas increased ed by by about about 20

percent. According to the bicycle industry statistics, around 598,000 bicycles were sold last year. Other than Sweden, cycling is also an important daily activity in Denmark due to its flat f lat terrain. In other countries like Norway, interest in cycling heightened rapidly in the last 10 years and it is now stronger than ever. The Norwegian Norw egian mountains mountains attract, attract, in particu particular, lar, cyclists cyclists for mountain mountain biking biking and off-road off-road 10 biking. There are many different reasons for the increasing popularity of cycling.

II

The main main reaso reason n would would be due to the the qua qualit lity y of the mater material ials s and and comp compone onents nts of  the bicycles which are constantly improved and upgraded. Although over the years there have been such oddities as bamboo and plastic frames, the current road are now made of one or blends of these four materials: steel, aluminum, titanium, 15 and carbon fiber. But first, notice that high-quality bicycles are built of all these materials.. Two bikes can also be constructed of the materials t he same material yet have different ride qualities due to differences in geometry, assembly, and material manipulation, which is one of the reasons why it is so important to test ride and ffeel eel the bikes before thinking of buying.

III

Anothe Anotherr reason reason for cycl cycling ing is is the incr increas eased ed inter interes estt in both both the the enviro environme nment nt and and in personal health and well-being. The climate is usually mentioned as one of the reasons for the cycling trend, as it has become warmer in these countries where cycling season continues to a prolonged period of time. Apart from that, modernisati moder nisation on also also seems to be playin playing g a role for the growing growing trend. trend. The Norwegia Norwegian n Cyclist Cyclist Champion Champion explai explains ns that in previous previous 45 years, people would be waiting for winter to practice sports, yet now, they can practice sports such as cycling as early as spring.
