Depth of Foundation: 1.75m Concrete Mix: M25 Steel Grade: Tor Steel Column size: C1=380 x 300mm C2= 300 x 380mm; C3=300 x 300mm Grade beam: 230 x 380mm Floor beam: 300mm x 450mm Steps:

STEP 1 (Creation of Geometry): New Project   Select Space  Unit Length =meters; Force=KN; File Name=eight storied building  Next Select  Add Beam  Finish. For Add Beam  Snap Node /Beam

Linear (Open) Radial (closed) Plan  X-Y X-Z Y-Z Grid origin (m) X Y 0 0 Then

Irregular (closed) Angle of Plan X-X  Y-Y Z-Z Z 0

X cross the Snap Node/ Beam list then it shows a table structure. Node 1 2 3 4 5 6

Then click View from +Y (Top Plan view) . Then it shows six points on the screen. Then we click Node cursor Then we select six points. Now we click Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Now it shows a Table.

Paste with move. By the following X, Y, Z values X= 0 Y =0 Z= 3.96m (put this value). Then we select the (2nd row) six points. Now we click Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Now it shows a Table. Paste with move. By the following X, Y, Z values X= 0 Y =0 Z= 4.57m (put this value). The we select the (3rd row) six points. Now we click Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Now it shows a Table. Paste with move. By the following X, Y, Z values X= 0 Y =0 Z= 3.05m (put this value). Now join the nodes as per geometry. Then we found the following figure.

Then we select the whole structure “T” Click Translational Repeat  Global direction X Y Z Click  link steps then click Ok.

Now click the node cursor , the we select a,b,c,d,e,f point, then Click  Global direction X Y

Click  link steps then click Ok. Now it will show the following figure with grade beam. (The figure is given below).

STEP 2: (Property) Front view Main menu  select  Beam Parallel to X Press CTRL then Select Beam Parallel to Z  (OR) Select top eight storey except grade beam then Go to Main menu  Geometry  Property  Define Rectangular  Material Concrete  YD= 0.45 ZD=0.30  Assign to selected beam  Assign Yes. Geometry  Property  Define Rectangular  Material Concrete  YD= 0.380 ZD=0.30  Add. Again YD =0.30 ZD=0.38  Add. Again YD=0.30 ZD=0.30  Add. Go to top plan view. Window the column type 1 and highlight 0.38 x 0.30 Assign to selected beam  Assign  Yes. Again windowing the colimn type C2 in plan and highlight the 0.30x 0.38Assign to selected beam  assign  Yes.Windowing the column C3 in plan and highlight the 0.30 x 0.30 Assign to selected beam  Assign  Yes.

Step 3(Support): Go to Front view  Select bottom most node Geometry Supportcreate  Fixed  Assign to selected beam  assign  Yes. Step 4 (Loading):

Step 3: (Support condtions) Click  General Support create Pinned add s2 support 2 Assign to selected Nodes close. After assigning, it shows the following figure”b”
