Collaborated with members of the Special Education Department, in developing a proactive, interactive and co-teaching model to be implemented during 2015/2016. Directed and organized all daily operations within the facility’s Social Studies Department.  Oversaw pre-observation meetings, observations, and post-observation follow-up sessions.  Established curriculum and mapping for all department offerings.  Developed and implemented techniques and strategies for areas of improvement, identifying and analyzing pre- and post-assessments.  Guided and trained personnel, encouraging employee development. Hosted a week long program honoring both Black History Month, and Woman’s History Month.  Scheduled music, poetry, and biography. Organized and directed ‘The Civil Rights Movement’ and the ‘Freedom Riders’ lecture event featuring two members of the Peterborough Civil Rights Movement in Tennessee during 1961 to 1964.  Arranged and developed segments featuring poetry, music, testimonials, and a student oriented question and answer section.
