ECOAQUARIUS - GRANDI IMPIANTI
PRIMARY TREATEMENTS Septic tanks are primary treatment unit based on anaerobic process. have wide application in new construction of sewage treatment plants or in the up-grading of existing facilities as part of pre-treatment for roughing the pollution load of sewage. Septic tanks work like a trap for coarse solids (especially when there are not gridirons, always recommended) and they remove organic materials and suspended solids. fermentation (i.e. in the absence of oxygen) which is precisely "septic mode". to concentrate, in the first room, sedimentation of the sludge, in an calm area, and to let flotation of substances that, for their minor specific gravity, tend to float on the surface. In the following room, we get a progressive clarification of wastewater. All compartments are sized to achieve a biological stabilization of organic sediments(fermentation or anaerobic digestion) and a good balance between BOD5, Nitrogen and Phosphorus. An over-sizing of septic tanks, therefore, may cause an unbalance of these factors, producing adverse effects on the purification process and a consistent reduction of following secondary treatment of sewage. Telcom’s septic tanks are made in LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene) material completely recyclable. They present manhole for inspection and removal of sludge, a waste inlet and a outlet with a rubber seal, for clarified water, a vent for expulsion of biogas produced.
Telcom’s septic tanks are normally sized for 200 liters per E.I. (equivalent inhabitant), but when you design this device at the beginning of a treatment system for activated sludge, you have to scale to 100 liters per E.I.

For Telcom’s septic tanks sized for 100 litres per E.I. you have to provide a standard emptying 2-3 times/year. For Telcom’s septic tanks sized for 200 litres per E.I. you have to provide a standard emptying 1-2 times/year.

SUSPENDED BIOMASS PLANTS Telcom’s SUSPENDED BIOMASS plants: they are biologic-based systems purification which use activated sludge with a strong aeration. The degradation of organic parts and suspended solids present in the sewage occurs through the action of bacteria that feed their selves by pollutants, purifying, in this way, the wastewater. An intense artificial ventilation ensures a good proliferation of those bacteria that form colonies as "flakes of mud" typical for suspended biomass.
FUNCTIONAL DETAILS “A” Zone – EQUALIZATION - DENITRIFICATION This section is designed to equalize the hydraulic load and to make as homogeneous as possible, the incoming pollutant load in the wastewater plant. Sudden loading peaks (shock loads) should produce, indeed, negative results on purifying efficiency because micro-organisms do not adapt their selves quickly to the changes of their environment. But, in the same compartment, properly dimensioned, the correct recirculation of activated sludge, coming from the oxidation and secondary sedimentation, realize an anoxic (i.e. without oxygen) environment, that produce denitrification of wastewater and reduce nitrogen values in its various oxidized forms or in gas. “B” zone - OXIDATION In this compartment you can find the oxidative phase of process. Sewage is here subjected to an intensive treatment by an intense artificial ventilation and this environment is very rich with oxygen. In this way physical and chemical, specially biologic, reactions produce their effects and degrade the organic pollutant load. The high microbial concentrations present in the oxidation section responsible for the purification of wastewater, are made possible by the continuous recirculation of activated sludge settled in the next section (room of sedimentation). “C” Zone - SEDIMENTATION In the sedimentation room, due to calm of water, there is the separation and precipitation of sludge which is then recirculated by an pneumatic extractor (air-lift), to equalization and oxidation compartment (see OXIDATION). The clarified and purified wastewater is sent to the next phase of treatment, if provided by the designer. Only the sludge produced in excess from depurative process (excess sludge) must be periodically removed from the plant. “A” zone Septic Tank

The are able to treat sewage coming from different type of structures/houses, as below shown. These categories are identified according to the time of their production of sewage. We considered for first category when the production time of sewage is during 16 hours/day, the second when there the production time is 8 hours/day. EQFA system are complete with a standard cabinet with any electrical equipment necessary to manage the system

WARRANTY This warranty, attached to the instruction booklet or manual technical Telcom SpA provides with the purchase of its products, is additional and not substitute any other right which protect the consumer / purchaser of the product, leaving the rights of the latter holds under the Italian DLGS 2.02.2002 nr. 24, witch has implemented in Italy Directive 1999/44/EC on guarantees for consumer goods. 1) I hereby guarantee Telcom S.p.A. guarantees the product against any defects in material or workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of original purchase.
