Quinapyramine salts (sulphate & chloride)  inhibits the growth and cell division of  haemoprotozoans. 

Trypanosomiasis 

It has analgesic, antipyretic, and anti‐ inflammatory effect. Acts by inhibition of  prostaglandin and Leucotrienens. It  stabilize lysosomal membrane. 

Symptomatic relief of pain, pyrexia and inflammation  of musculo skeletal origin. 

Animals 4.4 mg/kg BW 

 

Cattle, Sheep, goat 3mg/kg  BW 

At high  concentration it  may cause  irritation,  bleeding or  ulceration of  gastric mucosa.
