Dream Dream Dream

Are You Dreaming Today? Dream, dream, dream. That is my advice to you today. Start back dreaming. All too often, I see a sad cycle. When you’re young, you have lots of hopes and dreams. But then life happens. And your dreams get put on the back burner. Then, at some point, you stop dreaming altogether. And may not even realize that you have done so.

Dream, Dream, Dream: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day  Today, we celebrate a man famous for his dreams and actions. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr; American icon and Civil Rights Leader had a dream of racial equality, love and tolerance. He had a dream that one day, because of all of his hard work and the work of so many others, America would be a different place. While acknowledging that he didn’t feel he personally would live to see that day, Dr. King never stopped dreaming anyway. And he put tireless action behind his dreams. And today, I think he would be proud. America has judged a man: by the content of his character and not by the color of his skin.  Today, Dr. King’s dream has once again been fulfilled. President Barak Obama:  Inaugurated.  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we salute you!

Dream, Dream, Dream: Inaugurated Today is the 57th  Inauguration of the President of the United States of America. Today, President Barak Obama is re-instated for his second term as POTUS. By the will of the people. An unlikely reality, many would say. I say, the embodiment of a dream.

Dream, Dream, Dream: Are You Dreaming Today? And that is the big thing about dreams. The take-away, if you will.  Your dreams will often seem impractical and impossible to others. Dream anyway. Your dreams will often be mocked and scorned. Dream anyway.  But don’t just dream. Put actions behind your dreams. That is the key to them becoming realized.
