Description

DOSHAS AND VEDIC ASTROLOGY According to Vedic astrology dosha is a condition that has errors, un-favourable or not good situations. The word doshas is taken from the Sanskrit language. Doshas occur because of the un-favourable position of the planets in the twelve houses of your birth chart. Now to identify the position of the planets your date and time of birth is essential. Based on these information the birth chart is prepared which can tell the position of planet when you were born. If the malefic planets like Saturn, Rahu, and Mars etc are positioned in certain specific houses then they affect your good part of the horoscope which ultimately creates Vedic astrological doshas. Maximum percentage of doshas is caused by the planet Mars. It creates 100% dosha in one’s horoscope. Apart from this other planets like Sun, Saturn and Rahu also lead to doshas in Vedic astrology. Saturn is responsible for 76% of the doshas, Sun for 52% and Rahu for 24% of the vedic astrology doshas. DIFFERENT TYPES OF DOSHA IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY According to Vedic astrology Manglik dosha occurs when the position of planet Mars is in 1, 4, 7, 8, 12, house. So if the planet Mars is present in any of these five houses it is going to cause Manglik dosha or Kuja dosha. Some astrologers also study the dosha if the Mars is placed in 2nd house. More than 50% of the people have this dosha in their birth chart. The biggest misunderstanding regarding Manglik dosha in vedic astrology is the death of the spouse if one hurts from Manglik dosha. It does not occur in every case. This occurs when other bad combinations of the planets are also there in your chart. Manglik doshas in Vedic astrology is not there if Mars is present in its own house. Even if your 9th house has strong benefice planet then the effect of Mars located in 7th and 8th house are negated. KALSARP DOSHA Though our ancient Vedic astrology does not mention Kalsarpa dosha yet it is to be afraid by all. Kaalsarpa dosha, means, kal is death and sarpa is snake. Kalsarpa dosha in Indian astrology happens when all the planets are to one side of Rahu and Ketu. The strength of Kalsarpa dosha upsurges when all the planets come within the arc from Rahu to ketu. Bad luck and obstacles in the progress are the results of Kalsarpa dosha. There are 12 types of Kalsarpa doshas which are Anant, Kulik, Vasuki, Shankhapal, Padma, Mahapadma, Takshak, Karkataka, Shankhanaad, Patak, Vishakata and Sheshanag. These Vedic astrology doshas are named after the name of the snakes. NADI DOSHA Nadi dosha occurs when people with similar nadi get married. Nadi is one of the eight features that are considered while examination your compatibility matches with your partner. The facts assigned to nadi are 8 which are the maximum. Your children will be weak if you have nadi dosh in your horoscope. So it must be taken seriously. SHRAPIT DOSHA OR SHRAPIT YOGA Shrapit means the one who has been cursed. Shrapit dosha occurs when both Saturn and Rahu are present in the same house in your horoscope. It happens because of the wrong deeds that you have done in your past life. Because of Shrapit doshas in your chart you will not get the good result even if your present birth chart is viewing good combinations of the planets. Unlike Kalsarpa dosha there is no roots of Shrapit yoga in ancient astrology. When Rahu and Saturn come together are called Nagmani that is considered good. Person with this combination will have lots of black money. PITRA DOSHA

If our ancestors have done something bad then we can suffer from Pitra dosha or Paitrik dosha. It is because of the position of Saturn and Rahu that pitra dosha in the category of Indian astrology doshas occur. Sun according to Vedic astrology is the father and Moon is the mother whereas Rahu and Saturn are the enemies of these two. So if Sun,Moon, Rahu and Saturn are in same house then pitra dosha occurs. You will not progress of anything because of this dosha. KARTIK JANM DOSHA According to Hindu mythology Kartik month starts in Mid-October and ends in Mid-November. Sun is measured weak during this time so it can affect you and your family in the form of kartik janma dosha. Sun signifies health, father, senior citizens, name and fame. A person born during this period will surely have the kartik janma dosha. Though meaning of doshas is same but type of Vedic astrology doshas are different. It is a high time you should consult an expert astrologer so that he can tell you the type of doshas in your birth chart. You can then ask for the remedies and perform the pujas to finish the Indian astrology doshas.

This is not the correct category for asking such questions. Try Horoscopes section for detailed replies. However Nadi is an important part seen before marriage. One thing must be kept in mind that Nadi dosha is valid for brahmins and Bhrikuti dosha is for kshtriyas To learn Nadi Dosha you will first of all have to understand what Nadi in astrology means?. Nadi is one of the eight Ashta that are used to calculate your compatibility with your partner. Total of 36 points are there out of which Nadi has maximum points i.e. 8. Now if there is any conflict between the nadi of two persons then they said to suffer from nadi dosha as per nadi astrology. If there exists nadi dosha in kundali then most of the astrologers will say direct no to that marriage because the next generation will be weaker or there will be chances of not having the kids at all. But according to some other astrologers the nadi dosha is not that important as to check whether the couple will have strong kids also depends upon other factors like position in the fifth house and so on. To reduce the impact of nadi dosha one can go for many nadi dosha remedies and nadi dosha cancellations. Eight Ashta to calculate compatibility • Varna: maximum of 1 point is given in Varna to check work compatibility • Vashya: Maximum of 2 points are given here to check dominance compatibility • Tara : Maximum of 3 points are given to check destiny compatibility • Yoni : Maximum of 4 points are given to check mentality compatibility • Graha Maitri: Maximum 5 points are given to check general compatibility • Gana: Maximum 6 points are given to check the guna-level compatibility • Bhakoota: Maximum 7 points are given to check love compatibility • Nadi: Maximum 8 points are given to check health compatibility There are basically three types of nadis which are: • Adi (start) • Madhya (middle) • Antya (end) The type of nadi defines the "Prakriti" of an individual that can be Kaph, Vaat and Pita. In this kaph is for Adi nadi, Vaat is for Madhya and Pita is for Antya Nadi. Now the two persons having same type of nadi must not marry each other as their progeny or children will be weak. This is true scientifically as well. So this is the reason why marriage in a same kin is not allowed. But according to some astrologers instead of nadi dosha, putrakaraka and 5th house that represents children must be checked more accurately

than the nadi dosha. If you have a nadi dosha in horoscope that it can lead to conception but soon there will be a miscarriage or still birth. Nadi Dosha Exceptions Even if you have this vedic astrological problem you may get the nadi dosha exceptions which include the following points: • If the Nakshatra of male and female of same rashi are different then that is a nadi dosha cancellation • If two persons have same Nakshatra but different rashi then also it is considered as nadi dosha exception Nadi Dosha Remedies • Chant Mahamrityunjaya mantra japa • Present swarna-nadi, grains, cloth and cow to the brahmin for nadi dosha remedies • Girl having a nadi dosha is also married to Vishnu before the actual marriage and is considered as a nadi dosha cancellation and remedies. So before marriage it is important to check the nadi astrology for any nadi dosha, nadi dosha remedies and nadi dosha cancellation. You can go for the astrology for marriage to get this done. LAST but not least... if you do not believe in this.. just go for the marriage Nadi Dosh in Kundali Nadis are the thoughts which carry life force energy (Prana). The word Nadi has come from the Sanskrit word ‘Nadi’ which means ‘channel’ or ‘flow’. The active Prana is supposed to circulate inside Pingala. The passive Prana is supposed to circulate inside ida. Sushumna is supposed to circulate in Kundalini when awakened. The horoscope matching is very important method on the basis of which the future of the marriage is predicted in Indian astrology. There are 7 factors taken into consideration for checking the compatibility of the horoscope of male and female. The factors and the points are as follows: 1. Varna -1 point 2. Vashya - 2 points 3. Tara - 3 points 4. Yoni - 4 points 5. Graha Maitri - 5 points 6. Gana - 6 points 7. Bhakoot - 7 points 8. Nadi - 8 points Total - 36 points

Nadi is the process of eighth Koot matching which is to check the compatibility with the life partner. This has the maximum points in the complete process of matching. Of the total, 36 points are more than 22% i.e. 8 points are based on the Nadi match. There are 3 types of Nadis are categorized on the basis of the Nakshatra occupied by the moon. Each nadi represent ‘Prakriti’ of an individual that is his or her body constitute. As per Ayurveda, there are three different Prakritis- Vaat (wind) , Pita (bile) & Kapha (phelgm). All the Nakshatras that represent Vata (wind) denote Adi (start) Nadi . All Nakshatras that represent Pitta(bile) denote Madhya (middle) Nadi. All Nakshatras that represent Kapha (Phelgm) denote Antya (end) Nadi . The Nakshatras based classification of Nadi are as follows – Adi Nadi

The Nadi match judges the compatibility between two charts and match the psychological, spiritual, physical and sub-conscious factors. The Nadi mismatch between two is also called Nadi Dosha and generally considered as denial of Marriage. In horoscope matching nadis of same type get zero count. (it is called Nadi dosha)It points out to blood incompatibility due to which Blue babies are born. Nadi Dosha Exceptions

There are few exceptions in Nadi Dosha that can be considered if rest of the things are matching Following are the exceptions: 

If the Nakshatra of male and female are same and are of same Rashi and if the birth charan of female is not before the birth charan of male then it is a nadi dosha exception.

If the male and female horoscopes have same Nakshatra but different rashi but the birth charan and the birth rashi of the female should not be before the male then it is considered as nadi dosha exception.

If the male and female are born in the same Rashi but different Nakshatra and the Nakshatra of female is not before the male then also it is a Nadi Dosh exception.

If the male and female have the same Nadi but if the rashi lord is Jupiter, Venus or Mercury then also it is a Nadi dosh exception. Nadi Dosha Remedies

Chanting of Mahamrityunjaya mantra is the easiest remedy.

Presenting swarna-nadi, grains, cloth and cow to a brahmin is also a method of remedy for Nadi dosha.

Female having a nadi dosha is also married to Vishnu before the actual marriage and is considered as a nadi dosha exception and remedies. Hence, it is very important to check the astrology for any horoscope matching before marriage. You are advised to consult a genuine astrologer for nadi dosha exception and remedies. Nadi Dosh Posted on November 28, 2012 by Himanshu Shangari To read in detail about Nadi dosh, different types of Nadi dosh, effects of this dosh and remedies which can rectify this defect in kundali matching, visit my website AstrologerPanditJi.com. Following articles related to this topic are available on my website : Nadi Dosh Nadi Dosh Nivaran Pooja Nadi Dosh Nivaran Yantra Nadi dosh is considered as the worst kind of defect which can be formed during horoscope matching done through the process of Gun Milan system which is a traditional system available in Vedic Jyotish and it is used to calculate the compatibility between a male and a female for the purpose of marriage. The system of Gun Milan is a very old system of Vedic astrology and it has been given great importance for horoscope matching since Vedic ages. This system introduces eight important aspects of horoscope matching and these aspects are called Ashta koota and for this reason this system of Gun Milan is also called Ashta koot Milan in Vedic astrology. These eight kootas are called Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gan, Bhakut and Nadi respectively and they are given 1 to 8 points or scores respectively which means that 1 point or gun is assigned to Varna and moving on from 1 onwards, 2 gunas or points are assigned to Vashya and moving on like this, 8 points are assigned to Nadi koot. These points or gunas make a total of 36 when added and various kinds of scores are obtained by various couples under

consideration for horoscope matching, depending upon how many points do they get for each one of these kootas. Nadi is considered as the most important of these kootas and accordingly 8 gunas are assigned to Nadi. As we know that there are 27 nakshatras which are considered important according to vedic astrology to make calculations from horoscopes and the presence of Moon in any one specific nakshatra out of these 27 nakshatras is analyzed for Nadi match, in the horoscope of boy and girl under consideration for horoscope matching. According to the system of vedic astrology, 1 out of a total of 3 nadis called Adi Nadi, Madhya Nadi and Antya Nadi is assigned to each one of 27 nakshatras and all of these nakshatras are divided in 3 groups of 9 nakshatra each which have the same nadi which means that out of 27 nakshatras, 9 nakshatra belong to Adi nadi, 9 nakshatras belong to Madhya nadi and 9 nakshatras belong to Antya nadi. The nakshatra in which Moon is present in birth chart of a native is called his birth nakshatra and the nadi assigned to this nakshatra is called the nadi of the native. Moving on, in the process of gun Milan, the nadi of bride is matched with nadi of groom and if both boy and girl have different nadis, 8 out of 8 points are given for this match and nadis are considered to match whereas if nadi of both boy and girl is same, 0 out of 8 points are given for such nadi match and Nadi dosh is said to be formed in such horoscope matching. Nadi dosh can be of three types which are called Adi Nadi Dosh which is formed when both boy and girl have Adi Nadi; Madhya Nadi dosh and Antya Nadi dosh. The presence of Nadi dosha in horoscope matching is said to cause many kinds of problems in the marriage and married life of the natives and some vedic astrologers state that nadi dosh can lead to poverty, problems in producing children, separation or divorce in marriage and this dosh can even cause the death of one or both partners if they choose to marry each other despite the presence of Nadi dosh in horoscope matching. These believes are however not found true in actual practice and a great number of couples having Nadi dosh are living very good married life without any considerable problems which clearly indicates that Nadi dosh is not as destructive and as decisive in kundali matching as it is believed to be, in vedic astrology. There are many other factors present in the horoscopes of boy and girl which should be analyzed properly in order to determine the resultant of kundali matching and only then the compatibility of a couple should be determined. All of these factors which are important for the purpose of kundali matching, have been discussed in details, on my website AstrologerPanditJi.com and interested readers can visit my website to know about these factors. Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja Match Making Nadi dosh is the most feared dosh which can form during the process of gun Milan which is done for the purpose of kundali matching to check the compatibility of a boy and girl for marriage. The presence of Nadi dosh during Kundali matching is considered very bad and this defect is associated with very bad results like divorce, difficulty in producing children or having no children at all or death of one or both husband and wife if a marriage is conducted despite the formation of Nadi dosh during Kudnali matching. Some astrologers believe that going to Trayambakeshwar temple of Lord Shiva in Nasik or Ujjain and performing a short pooja there can rectify this dosh which offers only a little help in most of such cases as many times, poojas performed at Nasik or Ujjain are not proper poojas. The malefic effects of Nadi dosh present during Kundali matching can however be reduced to great extents with the help of astrological remedies which may include the application of puja, mantras, yantras, gemstones and some other astrological remedies and among all these remedies, Nadi dosh nivaran puja carries a great significance and importance. Many of my clients and

readers have repeatedly requested me to write an article about Nadi dosh nivaran pooja and hence we will discuss the various aspects of Nadi dosh nivaran puja through today’s article. The foremost thing that should be established in order to perform a pooja for any kind of dosh is to know the nivaran mantra for that dosh and accordingly the first thing in case of this puja will also be to know the proper mantra to rectify Nadi dosh in a horoscope. Nadi dosh as well as other doshas like Bhakut dosh, Gan dosh, Graha Maitri dosh, Yoni dosh, Tara dosh, Vashya dosh and Varna dosh which are formed during the process of kundali matching can all be rectified with the help of one single pooja which is called MahaMritunjaya pooja and which is conducted with the help of MahaMritunjay Mantra of lord Shiva. Maha Mritunjay Mantra is capable of removing the problems like serious physical injuries, death or other problems of such kind and hence this Mantra is used to remove the malefic effects of doshas like Nadi dosh and other defects like bhakut dosh which may be formed during the process of kundali matching. Knowing the nivaran mantra for any kind of dosh is the most important part of the process of nivaran of that dosh and now we have completed that part and in the next step we will learn how to properly conduct a Nadi dosh nivaran puja with the help of Mahamritunjay mantra which will serve as Nadi dosh nivaran mantra in this case. After knowing the nivaran mantra for a dosh, the most important step in performing any kind of pooja to rectify any dosh in a horoscope is to perform the chant of a Mantra specified to reduce the strength of that dosh and this chant amounts to a number of 125,000 in most of the cases. As we already know that MahaMritunjay mantra is the nivaran mantra for defects like Nadi dosh, hence a Nadi dosh nivaran puja should include a chant of 125,000 Maha mritunjay mantra which serves as Nadi dosh nivaran mantra for the sake for this pooja, and rest of the procedure is built around this chant. To start with Nadi dosh nivaran puja, a specific day is chosen for the start and completion of this pooja which is decided according to the horoscope of the native. At the day of starting of this puja, a Sankalpam or resolution is taken by the Pandits which are usually 5 to 7 in number. In this Sankalpam, the head Pandit or the main Pandit takes an oath in front of Lord Shiva that he and his other assistant Pandits are going to perform a chant of 125,000 Nadi dosh nivaran mantras for a specific couple of boy and girl who wish to marry each other which is the native and his future wife and whose names, their fathers’ names and their family surnames are also mentioned in Sankalpam. The names of the Pandits doing this chant are also mentioned, the days taken to complete this chant are also mentioned which are generally 7 to 10 days for this pooja, and the specific wishes required by the couple as a result of this pooja are also mentioned and this is the first step which starts a Nadi

dosh nivaran puja. The specific benefic results asked by Pandits on behalf of the couple in this case are to rectify the ill effects of Nadi dosh and any other defects like Bhakut dosh etc. formed during kundali matching and to bless the native with a happy and prosperous married life. It should be noted here that all the defects like Nadi dosh and Bhakut dosh which are formed during the process of gun Milan are mutual or relative defects which means that these defects are not formed in one horoscope and instead these defects are formed in two horoscopes relative to each other. Hence both boy and girls presence physically or by proxy is compulsory in order to conduct this pooja which means that this pooja is conducted for the couple as a whole and not for boy or girl alone like most of the other poojas which are done for one native and not a couple. For example, Manglik Dosh is another defect which can adversely affect the health of a marriage and hence a Manglik dosh nivaran pooja is performed to rectify this defect, but Manglik dosh is an individual dosh which means that this defect forms separately in the horoscope of bride or groom or both and accordingly a Manglik dosh nivaran pooja is conducted for an individual and not for a couple which means that in case, both bride and groom are suffering from this defect, two separate Manglik dosh nivaran poojas should be conducted for both the natives and a combined or collective Manglik dosh nivaran puja for the couple should not be conducted in such cases. This is due to the reason that any dosh that forms individually in one horoscope should be rectified individually for that horoscope only and it should not be rectified by means of collective remedies like a pooja which is being performed collectively for more than one individuals suffering from the same defect. The pooja for defects like Nadi dosh and Bhakut dosh on the contrary should never be performed for an individual as these defects are collective and hence a collective dosh nivaran puja for future bride and groom should be performed in such cases. After completing Sankalp, all the Pandits start chanting MahaMritunjay Mantra on daily basis for about 8 to 10 hours a day and in such a way that they are able to complete the total chant of 125,000 mantras till the decided day of completion of this pooja. The pundits keep on chanting the MahaMritunjay Mantra on daily basis till the day of the completion and they complete the committed chant of mantras on that day. After completion of chant of MahaMritunjay Mantra, the completion ceremony is arranged for the puja which can take about 2-3 hours if done with proper procedure. A puja for lord Shiva, goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha and other members of Shiva family is performed first and many kinds of offerings like flowers, fruits, sweets, milk, curd, honey, desi ghee, sugar, cosmetics for goddess Parvati, bangles, vermillion or Sindoor, Red clothes and many other things are offered to these gods and goddesses and the

completion of the resolution or Sankalpam taken by the pandits is repeated and it is conveyed to the gods by pandits that they have completed the chant of 125,000 MahaMritunjay Mantra in the time promised by them and in the manner promised by them at the day of start and it is also mentioned that all this chant and pooja has been done on behalf of their clients whose names and other details are again mentioned and it is then preyed that the couple should be blessed with the good results of this Nadi dosh nivaran puja since the couple has followed all the procedures for this pooja and they have got this puja performed through pandits in order to rectify the Nadi dosh present in their horoscopes. It should be noted here that this pooja performed at the day of completion of Nadi dosh nivaran puja follows specific procedures and accordingly this pooja and procedure can differ for different kind of doshas. Things related to lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha and some planets among navagaraha are then donated and the Pandits once again ask Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati to remove obstacles and misfortunes from the married life of the couple performing this pooja. After completion of this puja, the blessings are taken from the gods and goddesses and then the final ceremony of Havana is started which is the final and a very important ceremony as this is a ceremony through which a direct connection between the native and Lord Shiva is established with the help of pandits. After starting the Havana and after doing the necessary formalities, the chant of MahaMritunjay Mantra is again started and this time with the completion of each mantra, a sound of Swaaha or Swaha is chanted by the pandits and upon the chant of this sound of Swaha or Swaaha, certain specific things which form the constituents of Pooja Samagri and which can vary from puja to pooja are offered by the bride and groom in a specific way to the holy fire which has been lit to perform the Havana for Nadi dosh nivaran puja. This process is repeated again and again and each time the pandits chant the sound of Swaaha or Swaha or Swaham, pooja samagri is offered by the bride and groom to the holy fire of Havana in a specific way. Once the specific chant of MahaMritunjay Mantra fixed for the Havana is completed, some other important mantras are chanted which may differ from puja to puja and here again the pooja samagri is offered by the bride and groom to the holy fire of Havana at the sound of Swaha or Swaaha at the completion of each mantra. A dry coconut is finally filled with certain specific things which may again be different for different pujas and this coconut is then placed in the holy fire of Havana collectively by the bride and groom as the final offering and with the chant of some specific mantras and the desired result is again preyed from Lord Shiva by the pandits on behalf of the couple. The couple is then asked to complete 1, 3 or 7 circles around the Havana kund where each one of these circular movement is called a Pradakshina or a Parikarama and upon the completion of this Parikarma, Nadi

dosh nivaran pooja is completed. And though a Nadi dosh nivaran puja includes many other steps and procedures than the ones mentioned above, but the above mentioned steps are the most important steps of a Nadi dosh nivaran pooja and they should be done and executed by expert and established pandits. Missing some of the important procedures or not doing them properly can reduce the desired effects of the puja and the native may not get the proper benefic effect from his Nadi dosh nivaran pooja. There are some precautions which should be observed by the native during the running time of his Nadi Dosh Nivaran Pooja otherwise he may not get proper results from such Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja. From the time of start of a Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja till the time of completion of this pooja, the native for whom this pooja is being performed should abstain from eating non vegetarian food of all kind including fish and egg, he should stay away from liquors and alcohols of all kinds and he should also stay away from smoking for all this time. Apart from this the native should also not make sexual contacts with any female including his own wife and in case of unmarried natives they should stay away from their girlfriends as long as the Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja is going on. The native should also not engage in any kinds of bad conducts of violence, hatred or any other kinds of conducts which are considered immoral during the running time of Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja. The native should try to connect himself to Nadi Dosh Nivaran Pooja on daily basis which he can do by praying to Lord Shiva daily after taking bath and repeating the Sankalpam that the main Pandit had made on his behalf at the start of this pooja. The native should address Lord Shiva and say with his words or with his mind that he is getting a Nadi Dosh Nivaran Pooja performed with a chant of 125,000 Veda Mantras of Jupiter and this pooja is being performed at such and such place by a specific number of Pandits and that he is following all the procedures and precautions with complete dedication and devotion and that Lord Shiva should bless him with the best possible results for this pooja. It should be noted here that a Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja can be done in the presence of the native as well as in the absence of the native and in case the native is unable to be personally present at the place of Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja, this pooja is conducted with the help of native’s photograph or Picture in which the native should be alone and no one else should be present in the picture and this picture should be as recent as possible. In this case, the main Pandit will take the sankalp for Nadi Dosh Nivaran Pooja on behalf of the native in the presence of his photograph or picture. The name of native’s father and the surname of his family is spoken in the sankalpam and it is also mentioned by the main Pandit that this native is unable to attend to this pooja by means of his personal presence and hence a specific Pandit whose name and surname is mentioned, will be performing all the rituals to be performed by the native on behalf

of the native. It should be noted here that this Pandit is one of the Pandits who are going to do a chant of 125,000 Guru Veda mantra for the native. This way the rituals to be performed by the native at the starting day and completion day of Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja are performed by the chosen Pandit and it is conveyed by him on both of these days that he is performing these rituals on behalf of the native whose photograph is always kept present during the puja and it is used as a symbol of the native. For example, if the chosen Pandit is supposed to offer flower to Lord Shiva, he will first touch his hand carrying the flowers with the picture of the native and then he will offer those flowers to Lord Shiva and all other rituals are also performed likewise. It is important to note here that even if the native is personally not present for his Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja, he is strictly supposed to practice all the necessary and above mentioned precautions for his Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja, in whichever part of the world he may be present during the running time of such Nadi Dosh Nivaran Pooja. The native should also keep on repeating his Sankalpam for Nadi Dosh Nivaran Puja on daily basis as mentioned above and he should ask for the best results of this pooja. Getting a Nadi dosh nivaran pooja performed along with the other necessary astrological remedies certainly helps reducing the malefic effects of Nadi dosh formed in a horoscope, to a great extent. Other astrological remedies like Mantras, yantras, gemstones and some charities etc. may be required in addition to Nadi dosh nivaran pooja in order to effectively rectify Nadi dosh present in a horoscope. It should be noted here that the pooja performed for other defects like Bhakut dosh, Gan dosh etc. which are formed during the process of gun Milan is also conducted with the help of Maha Mritunjay Mantra following the same procedure in most of the aspects and with some differences like the Sankalp taken for Bhakut dosh nivaran puja will mention the nivaran of Bhakut dosh instead of Nadi Dosh, the sankalpam taken for Gan dosh nivaran puja will mentioned the nivaran of Gan dosh and likewise for the other defects. The things which are donated at the completion of such poojas can also differ from pooja to pooja depending upon the kind of dosh and the day of start and completion of such puja can also differ depending upon the kind of defect for which such nivaran pooja is being conducted. In case of presence of more than one defects during gun Milan like if Nadi dosh, Bhakut dosh and Graha Maitri dosh are present in gun Milan at the same time, a single and collective nivaran pooja is conducted with the chant of 125,000 MahaMritunjay mantra and it is mentioned in the Sankalp of this pooja that the objective of this pooja is to rectify the malefic effects of Nadi dosh, Bhakut dosh and Graha Maitri dosh which have been formed during the process of gun Milan and to get blessings of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati for the couple performing this pooja so that they may lead a happy and prosperous married life. Similarly this pooja can be performed for any number and any combination of 8 defects formed during gun Milan

with some specific changes in Sankalp of this pooja, day of starting and completion of this pooja, things to be donated during this pooja and some other changes.

Nadi Dosh is one of the most fearful Doshas which are formed during horoscope matching done by gun Milan according to Vedic Jyotish and it is said to cause many problems in the married life of the native as well as in some other spheres of a native’s life, depending upon the type of Nadi Dosha being formed in the horoscope matching and depending upon the overall horoscope or kundali of the native. Many Vedic astrologers are constantly doing researches to find remedies or combination of remedies which can effectively treat and cure the bad effects of Nadi Dosha formed during the process of horoscope matching or kundali matching and the use of a Nadi Dosh Nivaran Yantra has proved useful or very useful in case of different natives suffering from this dosh. According to Vedic Jyotish, one out of 3 Nadis called Adi Nadi, Madhya Nadi and Ant Nadi or Antya Nadi is assigned to every native depending upon the placement of Moon in some specific nakshatra in birth horoscope or kundali of the native. At the time of horoscope matching of a boy with a girl, if Nadi of the boy is same as the nadi of the girl, Nadi Dosh is said to be formed in such horoscope matching or kundali matching and it is believed by many astrologers practicing in Vedic Jyotish that if Nadi Dosh is formed during horoscope matching, the marriage of such boy and girl should not be conducted as these astrologers believe that the presence of Nadi dosh during the process of kundali matching can cause problems like incompatibility, divorce, no children, serious diseases, accident or death of one partner or

both

the

partners.

Depending upon the placement of Moon in various nakshatras in a horoscope or kundali which means that depending upon the Nadi of the bride as well as groom under consideration for horoscope matching, Nadi Dosha can be of 3 types according to Vedic Jyotish. If both boy and girl have Adi Nadi, then the kind of dosh formed in such horoscope matching is called Adi Nadi dosh, if both boy and girl have Madhya Nadi then the kind of dosh formed in such kundali matching is called Madhya Nadi Dosh and if both boy and girl have Antya Nadi then the kind of dosh formed in such kundali matching is called Antya Nadi Dosh. Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra is a remedy which can be used to reduce the malefic effects of all 3 types of Nadi Dosha formed during horoscope matching. Nadi Dosh Nivaran Yantra is also called Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra in Vedic Jyotish and it is recommended by many Vedic astrologers to reduce the bad effects of Nadi Dosh formed during the process of kundali matching. This Yantra can give good to very good results in reducing the strength of this dosh present in horoscope matching and when combined with some other astrological remedies which may include gemstones and some other remedies, it can bring great relief to the native suffering from any type of Nadi Dosha and the couple having this dosh in horoscope matching can enjoy better married life. In some cases it has been observed that the use of this Yantra has not only reduced the strength of this type of

Nadi Dosh but it has also brought benefits for the native and these benefits have been particularly observed in the cases where the natives have been able to develop a strong connection with this Yantra by means of praying to this Yantra on regular basis. Such natives have been able to enjoy healthy and happy married life despite the presence of one

It should however be noted that a Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra will work properly only if it has been purified, energized, programmed and activated through the proper techniques and by the Vedic Pandits who are experts in such procedures. Simply buying any Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra from any place is like buying a piece of metal which is not likely to work at all and accordingly it cannot produce any benefits which means that such yantra is not capable of rectify this dosh formed during horoscope matching. A Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra is energized with the help of Nadi Dosha Nivaran Mantras through some specific vedic procedures and the energy of these Mantras is stored in the Yantra for which this process is being carried out. The count of Nadi Dosha Nivaran Mantras for energizing can be different for different Yantras depending upon the strength of this defect in different horoscopes and accordingly the actual cost of an energized Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra can be different in different case depending upon the count of Mantras which are chanted in order to energize this Yantra. It has come to my observation that in actual practice, a Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra should be energized with the chant of at least 51,00 Nadi Dosh Nivaran Mantras in order to work properly and produce effects for the native and this chant can be extended up to 125,000 mantras. Without energizing, a Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra is just like a piece of metal and which costs around Rs. 50 or so. It should also be noted here that energizing a Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra is the most important step as this is the step through which this Yantra is charged with the positive energy of Lord Shiva in his MahaMritunjay form and if this step is not carried out properly which means that either no Nadi Dosha Nivaran Mantras are chanted to charge the Yantra or a very small count of Mantras like 100 or 200 Mantras, is chanted to charge the Yantra, such Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra will not be capable of producing the desired positive effects or it may simply not produce any positive effects at all and as a result the malefic results indicated

Moving ahead, it has also come to my notice that some astrologers and Pandits believe that keeping a big number of Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantras like 10 or 100 Yantras together and then doing a chant of 11,000 or more Nadi Dosha Nivaran Mantras for them will energize all the Yantras at the same time and this is in fact a practice which is being carried out by a large number of astrologers and pandits who are selling energized Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantras. But this is neither a fair nor an effective practice as keeping 100 such Yantras together and then chanting 11,000 Nadi Dosha Nivaran Mantras to energize them all is not an effective procedure to charge these Yantras and for a Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra to be energized properly, each and every Yantra should be energized separately and on its own. This is a lengthy process and it can take up to 2 to 7 days to prepare a single Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra and this is why this practice is avoided by a number of astrologers and pandits and they are

energizing 100s of Yantras together in order to save time, effort and money. But there is simply no comparison between a Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra which has been energized and programmed alone and a Yantra which has been energized in a bunch of 100 Yantras. So always make sure that your Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra has been energized separately and it has been programmed to give its best results only for you and your partner so that this yantra may rectify Nadi Dosha formed during horoscope matching. Programming of the Yantra is the step in which specific commands are given to the Yantra through specific Vedic procedures so that the Yantra works for the benefit of a specific person or a group of people for whom it is being programmed which means that in case of Nadi Dosh Nivaran Yantra, it is programmed to work for the benefit of husband and wife by rectifying any type of Nadi Dosha formed during horoscope

matching.

Once you have got your energized and programmed Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra, the next step is to establish it in your house. It should be noted here that unlike most of the other yantras, Nadi Dosh Nivaran Yantra should not be kept in pocket and it should also not be worn in a pendant. This is due to the reason that most of the Yantras are programmed for a single person whereas Nadi Dosh is a defect which is formed relatively during the process of horoscope matching which means that Nadi Dosh is not formed in 1 horoscope and 2 horoscopes are needed for the formation of this dosh during the process of kundali matching. Hence a Nadi Dosh Nivaran Yantra needs to be established in the place of worship so that both husband and wife may pray to this yantra regularly and this yantra may give its optimum benefic results in rectifying Nadi Dosh formed during horoscope matching and in blessing the couple with a happy married life. For best results, this Yantra should be established on a day prescribed by your astrologer and you should establish it in the place of worship in your house. On the day recommended by your astrologer, both husband and wife should take bath and after taking bath, they should get together, go to their place of worship and Chant 11 or 21 Mantras prescribed by their astrologer, sprinkle some holy water or unboiled milk on this Yantra, Pray to this Yantra and ask for the best possible benefits or ask for the rectification of Nadi dosh formed during horoscope matching as well as ask for a happy married life and then they establish the Yantra in their house, in the place of worship. Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra has been established now and it will start working and in order to keep it working properly, both the partners will need to attend to it on regular basis. Every day after taking their bath or preparing themselves for the day, they should go to the place where their Nadi Dosha Nivaran Yantra has been placed, concentrate on it, chant 11 Mantras for this Yantra and then ask their specific wishes from this Yantra. It should be noted here that both husband and wife need to be present at the time of establishing this yantra for the first time but they can pray to this yantra separately each day, once this yantra has been established. The regular prayers of husband and wife establish a strong connection between them and their yantra due to which this yantra can rectify Nadi Dosh formed during horoscope matching, in a stronger and better way.
