When completing multiple rounds of the same stitch count you will see the total number of rounds as well as the total number of total stitches. For example: sc 42 stitches for rows 8-13 (6 rounds). This is a total of 252 stitches (6 rounds x 42 stitches = 252 total stitches). Use a stitch marker or weave a contrasting length of yarn at the rst stitch of each round. This will help mark the start of each round. Pull the yarn out after completing the section of the pattern. Colour Changing: Change colours on the last sc prior the new colour change round. For young children it is recommended you stitch the eyes on using black yarn and a needle. Safety eyes are a choking hazard for small children.

STITCHING THE DINOSAUR TOGETHER -

Stitch the legs to the base/midline of the body facing forward Stitch the arms to the midline of the body, two rows below the join of the neck Stitch the tail to the base of the body it should sit under the curve of the base Stitch the head to the body over rows 11-16 on the underside of the head Tip: Use pins to help position the parts. Check the position of the tail and legs by using a at surface. Make sure the animal sits at before sewing. For plushie amigurumi I use 3 inch plastic hairdressing roller pins.

STITCHING THE DINOSAUR TOGETHER - Position the spikes evenly apart. - Each spike will be about 2 rows distance apart - Position the 1st spike over rows 12-15. Then place the next two spikes down the centre of the head

- There will be a larger gap between spike 3/4 to ensure they don’t touch at the bend of the neck

- Place spike 4 at the back of the neck - Place the last two spikes over the centre of the tail - Hide your yarn tails.

EMBROIDERY Eyes: If you did not use safety eyes take a length of black yarn and a tapestry needle and stitch the eyes over row 9-10. Place the eyes 8 stitches apart - counted on row 10. Repeat stitching over the rows until you reach your desired thickness. Hide your yarn tail. Page 12 of 14
