RESPONSIBLE USE OF MEDIA & INFORMATION

LEANRING OBJECTIVES LEARNERS WILL BE ABLE TO: identify the characteristics of responsible users and competent producers of media and information (MIL11/12IMIL-IIIa-3); and editorialize the value of being a media and information literate individual (MIL11/12IMIL-IIIa-3).

• MEDIA LITERACY - ability to access, analyze, evaluate and create media in a variety of forms. • INFORMATION LITERAY - ability to recognize when information is needed, and to locate, evaluate, and effectively communicate information • TECHNOLOGY LITERACY - being knowledgeable on the proper use of technological tools to access, manage, evaluate, create and communicate information
