Materials needed • DK (3 or light worsted) weight 100% co�on yarn in colours gray, white, orange, mustard, blue and navy Exact weight of the yarn is 260m in 100g ball (3,53Oz - 274 yds) • 2 mm (B-1) crochet hook • Wooden pacifier clip • Fiberfill for stuffing • Sewing needle and scissors • Black embroidery thread • Gray sewing thread • Pins • S�tch markers The length of the finished pacifier clip is about 22 cm (8.7 in), it might vary if you use a different weight yarn or hook size.

Forehead cover • Work in rows • Use gray colour yarn 1. ch 2 [2] 2. Work in the second ch from the hook: inc, ch 1 and turn [2] 3. sc 1, inc, ch 1 and turn [3] 4. sc 2, inc, ch 1 and turn [4] Fasten off and weave in the remaining ends. You may also leave a tail for sewing, but I prefer a�aching it with the gray sewing thread for a less visible seam.

10. (sc 3, dec) repeat 6 �mes [24] 11. (sc 1, dec, sc 1) repeat 6 �mes [18] 12. (sc 1, dec) repeat 6 �mes [12] Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill. 13. (dec) repeat 6 �mes [6] Fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Take a yarn needle and weave the remaining tail through the front loops of round 13. Pull it �ght to close the head completely.

Assemble the head Head • Work in rounds • Start with gray colour yarn 1. sc 6 in a magic ring [6] 2. (inc) repeat 4 �mes, change the yarn colour to white, (inc) repeat 2 �mes, change the yarn colour to gray [12] 3. (sc 1, inc) repeat 4 �mes, change the yarn colour to white, (sc 1, inc) repeat 2 �mes, change the yarn colour to gray [18] 4. (sc 1, inc, sc 1) repeat 4 �mes, change the yarn colour to white, (sc 1, inc, sc 1) repeat 2 �mes, change the yarn colour to gray [24] 5. (sc 3, inc) repeat 4 �mes, change the yarn colour to white, (sc 3, inc) repeat 2 �mes, change the yarn colour to gray [30] 6. - 8. sc 20, change the yarn colour to white, sc 10, change the yarn colour to gray [30] 9. sc 23, place the forehead cover on top of the head and crochet through both pieces to combine them: sc 4, sc 3 [30]

1. Take a strand of gray sewing thread and a�ach the forehead cover to the head. 2. Take a strand of orange yarn and embroider the beak on the lower edge of the forehead cover.

3. Embroider the eyes using black embroidery thread. They should appear on round 6, one s�tch away from the beak.

Star • Work in rounds • Use mustard colour yarn 1. Start a magic ring, ch 2 (it doesn’t count as a s�tch), hdc 10, close the ring and sl in the first hdc of this round [10] 2. (ch 4, start in the second ch from the hook: sl 1, sc 1, hdc 1, skip 1 st and sl in next st) repeat 5 �mes [5 points]

Medium circle (make 2) • Work in rounds • Make one in navy colour and one in blue. 1. Work inside the magic ring: ch 2 (it doesn't count as a s�tch), dc 10 [10] sl 1, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Fasten off and leave a tail. Weave the remaining yarn through the star to one of the points and leave it there for sewing.

Large circle (make 1) • Work in rounds • Use navy colour yarn 1. Work inside the magic ring: ch 2 (it doesn't count as a s�tch), dc 10 [10] 2. (inc) repeat 10 �mes [20] sl 1, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.

Circles Circle with the loop (make 1) • Work in rounds • Use blue colour yarn 1. Work inside a magic ring: ch 2 (it doesn't count as a s�tch), dc 10 [10] 2. (sc 1, inc) repeat 2 �mes, form the loop: ch 35, make sure that your chain is not twisted, insert your hook in the third chain coun�ng from the beginning of chain s�tches and sc 3. Con�nue working on the circle: (sc 1, inc) repeat 3 �mes [15 sc + loop]

sl 1, fasten off and weave in the remaining ends.

Assemble the clip 1. A�ach the medium navy colour circle on the top of the penguin's head. 2. A�ach the opposite side of the same circle on the pacifier clip.

3. Sew the remaining pieces to the others as shown in the scheme using the remaining yarn tails.

Small circle (make 1) • Work in rounds • Use navy colour yarn 1. Work inside the magic ring: ch 2 (it doesn't count as a s�tch), hdc 8 [8] sl 1, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing.
