GRADE LEVEL: Grade 11 LEARNING AREA: Disciplines and Ideas in Social Sciences QUARTER: 1st Quarter, Week 8-10 1. Analyze the concept and theories of institutionalism. 2. Create a slogan showing the importance of institutionalism in daily lives. 3. Relate the importance of the role of institutionalism in daily life. The learner demonstrates an understanding of the key concepts and approaches in the social sciences. The learner shall be able to interpret personal and social experiences using relevant approaches in the Social Sciences and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the approach. Analyze the basic concepts and principles of the major social science theories; a. S! PICTURE ANALYSI ANALYSIS!

The students will be divided into five (5) groups. Each group shall be given three (3) minutes to analyze the pictures presented. The students will answer the following questions after analyzing the pictures presented.  What can you say about the pictures above?  How can you relate this to your daily life?  What do you think are two concepts of institutionalism that you can get from the pictures above? and On the same group, a representative shall be chosen and each representative will draw a paper and each paper contains corresponding topics related to the topic.  Group 1- Three functions of isomorphism  Group 2- Formal and Informal institutions  Group 3- Important theorists on institutionalism  Group 4- Types of institutionalism (1. Normative institutionalism, 2. Rational Choice institutionalism, 3. Historical Institutionalism, 4. Sociological institutionalism)  Group 5- Types of institutionalism( 5. Institutional economics, 6. Discursive institutionalism, 7. Constructivist institutionalism, 8. Feminist institutionalism) Let the students dissect the informations provided and create a summary. The students will present their output in the class and will be asked questions after the presentation.  Group 1- Why is it important to identify the three (3) functions of
