Head Yarn: Paintbox Yarn Cotton DK – 425 Pistachio Green
[hook: 3mm] RND 1: magic circle (6sts) RND 2: 2sc in each st (12sts) RND 3: (sc, 2sc) x 6 (18sts) RND 4: (2 x sc, 2sc) x 6 (24sts) RND 5: (3 x sc, 2sc) x 6 (30sts) RND 6: (4 x sc, 2sc) x 6 (36sts) RND 7-10: sc all around (36sts) RND 11: 15 x sc, 6 x 2sc, 15 x sc (42sts) RND 12: 15 x sc, (sc, 2sc) x 6, 15 x sc (48sts) RND 13-17: sc all around (48sts) RND 18: (6 x sc, sc2tog) x 6 (42sts) RND 19: (5 x sc, sc2tog) x 6 (36sts) RND 20: (4 x sc, sc2tog) x 6 (30sts) RND 21: (3 x sc, sc2tog) x 6 (24sts) RND 22: (2 x sc, sc2tog) x 6 (18sts) [put the stuffing in] RND 23: (sc, sc2tog) x 6 (12sts) RND 24: sc2tog x 6 (6sts) [Make sure you have enough stuffing in, fasten off]
To profile the head, prepare two pieces of pistachio green yarn, around 20cm each. Using a yarn needle, pull the yarn from the bottom of the head (where you are going to attach the body to the head, between RND 16 and 17) to the front of the face, between RND 10 and 11, 2 st apart (looking at RND 10 or 2 x 2sc apart looking at RND 11). Place the needle one st away (temporally) and then pull it down, one stitch apart from where you started. Do the same on to the other side (see pictures on page 5).

Magic Circle
RND 11
Pull the strings at the bottom of the head. When the head has a required shape tie a knot, then hide the loose ends inside. Don’t worry that the bottom of the head is now out of shape, the body will hide that.
Using Paintbox Yarn in black embroider two little eyes, 6st apart (3 x 2sc), RND 11.

Cuddly Comforter – how to start crocheting the body For illustration purposes: to show the process better and make it more visible on pictures I used cotton yarn in two colours. The dark green represents finished legs, including the last row crocheted in Flutterby yarn. 1. Complete RND 12 on the second leg you made (leg A), then chain 6
2. Single crochet into what would be the first stitch of RND 13 on the other leg (leg B)
3. Single crochet in every stitch around the leg B until you get to the chain

4. Front loop single crochet into every stitch of the chain
5. Single crochet into every stitch of leg A until you get to the chain
6. Front loop single crochet into every stitch of the chain
After completing those steps start crocheting RND 1 of the body Copyright
