Saved the Department of the Navy millions of dollars and facilitated the sale of a U.S. Navy contractor by resolving the contractor’s quality assurance, production and procurement problems; allowing the Navy to cease debarment proceedings and halt the planned reprocurement and requalification of the F-18 E/F accessory gear box from another manufacturer



Averted a $50 million claim by the prime contractor by performing the key analysis of the design phase of the F/A-18 E/F gearbox; which determined the prime contractor’s complicity in the client’s exceeding a previously approved heat budget by more than 5%



Successfully managed a $150 million proposal for U.S. Army Ammunition Demilitarization Engineering Services which ranked as the technically best offer and would have saved the U.S. Army $26 million



Established an approved quality system and obtained PMA approval from the FAA to transition a civilian commercial FAA manufacturer to a designer of modifications that upgraded the electrical systems and auxiliary power units for KC-135 tankers, JSTARS, and other types of aircraft



Key player in the development of the corrective action plan for a client to inspect and repair 94,000 structures on over 50 military bases in Afghanistan and Iraq, in response to a DCMA Level III CAR that was subject to the Pentagon and Congressional investigations



Senior Management Team member generated $7 million in sales, 40% higher than the forecasted, restructuring company and transitioning from 100% DoD to a commercial customer mix, creating a commercial product line, and implementing lean processes reducing costs 40%, while increasing production 50%



Reengineered the MRB process, reducing cycle times over 90%, from more than 30 days to just 3 days, reducing scrap dollars by over 90% and WIP by 25%



Reorganized the design, manufacturing and quality engineering departments by consolidating the positions into “Universal Engineers,” eliminating two management positions, streamlining the work force by 40% and improving support to the production work centers

Spearheaded quality system policy, direction and guidance to over 240 Quality Assurance Specialists providing base life support services at 25 sites through the LOGCAP III contract, supporting US and NATO military forces and USG and contractor civilians Iraq 

Within six months, flawlessly executed a drawdown plan that maintained a high level of service at each base as U.S. military forces were withdrawn from Iraq to Kuwait
