DIN 11851: 2013-02 Workpiece edges to the pipe end according to DIN ISO 13715: Unmeasured workpiece edges must be free of burrs. The manufacturer of the threaded and tapered nozzles with roll-in grooves must ensure that the Design of the grooves leads to a secure hold and tightness of the screw connection parts.

6. Requirements for elastomers :   Elastomers must meet the requirements of the United States Federal Drug Administration

(FDA)of America, Code of Federal Regulations 21 CFR 177.2600 "rubber articles intended for repeated use",fulfill;   The hardness of the material must be between 65 and 80 units according to Shore A. (Measurement according to DIN 53505); must be carried out so that   Processing operations such as B. the deburring of the seals must under the greatest possible retention of the surface roughness, the sealing contour is not interrupted. The Surface must be closed c losed during visual inspection without enlarging.

Additional information on the requirements for elastomers can be found in the informative Annex B. want

Appendix A. (informative)  Notes on rolling pipes according to DIN 11850 into threaded connections Form C and conical socket form D according to DIN 11851 A.1 As a precondition for an exact rolling in of the pipes, a burr-free pipe cut surface should be vertical to the pipe axis (use a pipe saw tool if necessary) (see Figure A.1).

Figure A.1 - clamping device

Figure A.2 - clamping device

Figure A.3 - Pipe roller

A.2 When inserting the pipe into the roll-in socket, it is essential to ensure that the Pipe is flush with the stop (shoulder) ( shoulder) of the nozzle. The connection should only be tightened in one corresponding clamping device (see Figure A.2).

Page 21

DIN 11851: 2013-02

A.3 In the subsequent rolling-in process with the pipe p ipe roller that matches the nominal diameter d iameter (see Figure A.3) the pipe wall is permanently p ermanently deformed and pressed into the roll grooves. Even turning with slight axial pressure on the mandrel is a prerequisite for pr precise ecise rolling. A.4 In order to prevent the pipe from "bulging out" just behind the n nozzle ozzle when rolling, the The nozzle is flush with the clamping device (see Figure A.4). A.5 The diameter of the pressure piece of the the pipe roller must not exceed the value of d 7 according to this standard step, but should have at least the value of d 6  according to this standard (see Table 3).

Appendix B. (Informative)  Notes on the requirements requirements for elastomers B.1 Additional approvals : under the responsibility of the user, aadditional Depending on the purpose of the/ conformities overall system and dditional Approvals are checked, for example for:    pharmaceutical applications: USP Class VI (United States States Pharmacopeia);    pharmaceutical applications: according according to EU guideline EMEA EMEA / 410/01, the ingredients should be free of animal ingredients ("free of animal derived ingredients" - "ADI-free"); 

Applications in the food industry: XV and XXI plastic recommendation of the BfR (Federal

Institute for Risk aassessment); ssessment);   Drinking water applications: Worksheet W270 according to DVGW (German Association of Gas and Water compartment e. V.); V .);   Drinking water applications: KTW (plastics in drinking water) recommendation of the Federal Health Office;   Applications in the dairy industry: 3 A Sanitary Sa nitary Standard.

B.2 Hardness measurement: The measurement is carried out in accordance with the standards on test specimens, additional tests on the finished part or in accordance with DIN ISO 48 are to be agreed. It should be noted that degrees degree s of hardness cannot be compared: For example, has a Elastomer material has a hardness of 75 ! 5 Shore A on the test plate according to DIN 53505, the test of Micro hardness according to DIN ISO 48 on the O-ring results in 70 ! 8 IRHD.

B.3 Further physical parameters : A further limitation of the material to certain colors or abstract physical values (eg minimum values for tension value 100%, tensile strength and elongation at break according to DIN 53504) are not no t recommended. Rather, the suitability for the intended use should be emphasized. It should be noted that the frequently specified maximum operating temperatures in air are valid, but can change significantly depending on the respective operating conditions.
