Digital Exam Pad

SMART EXAM PAD Aim: To design a device that facilitates an E-Examination and authenticates the candidates through an RF-ID card.

Objective: Now-a-days malpractices have increased a lot. This can be can be avoided or at the least can be decreased by making the examinations electronic and thus authentication is provided by using an RF-ID card. This also decreases the effort from the examiners’ and administration point of view by making evaluation easier and hence decreasing the human effort. This is also ecological as it decreases the usage of paper and hence protecting the environment.

Proposal: Here we are proposing the design of a smart device that checks for the authentication of candidates and facilitates E-Examination. The RF-ID card reader will scan the identification card of the person and checks the details of the person with the available database for authentication. If the person has registered for the examination, the access is granted. If the person is not eligible to attend the examination, the administrator will be alerted.

Advantages:    

Reduces the chances for malpractices considerably. Reduces human effort. Reduces the evaluation delays and errors. Reduces paper usage, hence protecting the environment.
