DHL-AMAT Dress Code Policy Policy Owner: Human Resources

PURPOSE

The appearance of DHL-AMAT personnel should should convey our professional image at all times. DHL’s DHL’s goal is to maintain a professional image and reflect the pride that we have in our company. This Dress Code Policy formalizes and provides specific guidelines that are not covered cove red in the Associate Handbook. Associates are expected to present a clean, clean , neat appearance and dress according to the requirements of their positions, warehouse, office, management etc. Associates that appear appea r for work inappropriately dressed will be sent home unpaid and directed to return to work in the proper attire. In addition, the Corporate Attendance Policy (520.1) still applies and points will be assessed accordingly. POLICY AND PROCEDURE

RESPONSIBILITIES 1.1

It is management's responsibility to establish and enforce the Dress Code Policy to maintain a safe and positive workplace.

1.2

It is management's responsibility to set the example in regards to the Exel Dress Code Policy.

1.3

It is the associate's responsibility to adhere to the guidelines, procedures and rules established by management. Associates are encouraged to speak with their manager or supervisor supervisor when clarification is needed.

1.4

Any associate who believes they have been unjustly accused of violating company policy may appeal, either orally or in writing, writing, at any stage in the proceedings. Associates should refer to the  the  Associate Concern Resolution Process outlined in Policy P olicy 110.2 Associate Relations.

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES General Guideline ILC a.  All clothing must be neat and clean, not torn, frayed or baggy and without holes.  b.  Clothing must contain no obscene or offensive language or pictures. c.  Shorts which are mid-thigh mid-thigh length and have no holes are acceptable. Shorts should not be more than 4 inches above or below the knee when standing. standing. No cutoffs, fleece, spandex or biker type shorts are allowed. d.  All skirts and/or dresses must not exceed 3 inches above abov e the knee when standing. stand ing. e.  Jeans which are not ragged and do not have any holes are acceptable. f.  Pants and shorts that allow undergarments to be seen due to them sagging below b elow the waistline, and/or

h.  Clothing must not allow shoulders, shoul ders, back or midriff’s to be visible. i.  Clothing must also not be transparent to the point po int that any undergarments are visible.  j.   No sunglasses in the building unless associate has a medical or optical documented requirement as approved by HR. k. Safety glasses are required. l.   Baseball hats may be worn in in an appropriate manner with the bill forward. Cowboy hats are not acceptable (exception: religious head wear). m.  Winter hats (knit caps) are acceptable. n.   No headphones, bandanas, rags, scarves or other headwear is permitted in the warehouse (except as described in j & k above. o.  Shoes must enclose the entire foot. Safety shoes with steel toes or composite toes ar aree required.  p.  Excessive or large jewelry that could create safety hazards is not acceptable. q.  Only DHL authorized cellular phones are permitted. Campus –   Clothing: a.   No Wool, silk, nylon, or other synthetic material due to ESD compliance, e.g. synthetic sports jerseys

 b.   No Sleeveless, muscle shirts, and tank tops c.   No Baggy pants exposing undergarments or boxers or posing as a safety hazard due to loose fit d.   No offensive logos, pictures, wording e.   No heels over 2inches f.  Clean, professional full‐length regular fit denim, khakis, or dress pants ‐ no holes permitted g.  Clean, short sleeved or long sleeved t‐shirts or collared shirts; professional professional logos or inoffensive pictures, pictures, h.  wording etc. are permissible i.  Shoes must enclose the entire foot. Safety shoes with steel toes or composite toes are required.  j.  Safety glasses are required. Accessories: k.   No dangling jewelry of any sort, e.g. belts, hoops or long earrings, bracelets l.   No facial piercings

m.  There are positions on the MFG floor, e.g. e. g. HIPOT where you will be asked to remove all jewelry for safety reasons n.  Long hair must be worn in a way that there will not be a risk of it being entangled in moving equipment o.   No head covering of any sort is allowed; e.g. hats, do rags, caps, etc.. (Associates operating in the dock area and material spines are allowed to wear wea r Exel logoed winter hats)   Manufacturing/Cleanroom

In accordance to our customer’s dress code in code in cleanroom environment, all associates working and/or entering manufacturing area will require smocks issued by b y customer. Guidelines below; a.  Ensure all manufacturing provided PPE is worn before entering in manufacturing cleanroom, which includes hard hat, latex gloves, hair net, face mask, safety glasses and smocks.  b.  All cleanroom PPE must be removed when leaving manufacturing cleanroom when leaving for any reason. (Cleanroom PPE cannot be worn in warehouse or any environment outside of manufacturing) c.  Shoes must enclose the entire foot. Safety shoes with steel toes or composite toes ar aree required.

OFFICE ASSOCIATES General Guideline ILC/Campus a.  Business Casual attire Monday –  Monday –   Friday Friday jeans may be worn but must be accompanied by a business casual dress shirt. (exception T-shirts may be worn on Friday’s Friday’s))  b.  Clothing must also not be transparent to the point that any undergarments are visible. c.  If jeans are worn, they must not be ragged or have holes in them. d.   No bare bare shoulder shoulders, s, bare bare backs, backs, which which include include tank tank tops. tops. a.  Collared shirts must be worn Monday through Thursday; Thursda y; shirts without collars must be business casual. ( Blouses, Blouses, Sweaters) T-shirts are only acceptable on Friday.  b.  Jeans may be worn Monday –  Monday –   Friday Friday but may not be frayed or have any holes in them. c.   No hats are permitted with the exception of religious headwear or winter hats (knit caps).  Associates who are inappropriately or unsafely dressed, may be sent home and required to report back to work in acceptable attire. Under this circumstance associates will not be paid for his his/her /her time away from work. Associates who repeatedly violate or refuse to follow written dress g guidelines uidelines will be subject to corrective action.
