ATTENUATION AND DELAY CHECKINGS CHECKINGS

From now until new changes the ATTENUAION and DELAY will be checked deeply while checking the nodes 900. •

It will be applied for all zones less NORTE.



It will be done in different ways depending on if the node has TMAs or not.

If the node does not have TMAs – ATT and DELAY should be set in this way:  All AntFeederCable and dl/ul will have the same value. ERB-B-9ARRABAS-01>

If the node has TMAs – ATT and DELAY should be set in this way: AntFeederCable=1B •



ulAttenuation will be set in a different way.

For ATT: Take the values from the others feeders (in this case 24) and subtract 145. ATT Example: 24 – 145= -121

For DALAY: Take the values from the others feeders (in this case 881) and add 1080. DALAY Example: 881 + 1080= 1961

How to check if the node has TMAs? If you do not have information of the state of sectors, it means the station does not TMAs. Example: This station has TMAs

For ending, remember the step sequence during the checking: 

First, check the ATTENUATION and DELAY If ATT and DELAY have been changed: • • •

Restart the node Check the maxDlPowerCapability parameter at the node Compare its value with maximumTransmissionPower parameter at the RNC

If ATT and DELAY have not been changed: •

Continue with the procedure as usual

 ATT MODIFIED column changes to ATT, at it, you have to write OK or NOK.
