B L O OD Y M O O N Honour guard to the Librarian Two Heads Talking and sergeant amongst the Deathwing, Bloody Moon exemplifies the dutiful nature of the Dark Angels. Sanguine in temperament, and moderate and considered in all his actions, Bloody Moon brings wise council to Cloud Runner and his brethren. Despite his great sorrow, he proposed following the Codex’s standard procedure: evacuation and virusbombing. Over-ruled, he bowed to the group’s wishes and fights as bravely as anyy o off the marines.

Marked with the Y-shaped scar tattooes of his tribe, Broken Owl gave up his place as son of the Chief to seek immortality as a Sky Warrior. Driven and deadly, Broken Owl’s sorrow is rivalled onlyy byy the fury of his flamer.

Youngest of the Astartes present, Harvest Buck is dutiful and detached. He had hoped to win glory as a member of the Deathwing, but knows now he is nothing but a ghost. His sole wish is to avenge his clan wi w with t th hammer and shield.

A daring, quick-witted and innovative Astartes, White Eagle fully expected never to return to the Chapter. In fact, as one of the few survivors, he re-established his clan and later elected to rejoin ejj oi oin n his long-lost brethren.

Lame Bear is the bulwark a rk of the thirty marines that h att returned to find their homeworld ruined. Huge, ruled by his emotions of grief and rage, Lame Bear is a great ally – and a terrible foe! Like Harvest Buck, this huge marine wields a Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield.

W E A S E L -F I E R C E Later remembered as ‘the greatest warrior of our generation’, Brother Marius’ original name sums up his feral intelligence and cunnning character, traits tempered by his taciturn nature. Untroubled by sentimentality, WeaselFierce proposed taking the fight to the genestealers with bolter, blade and his lightning claws. His squad follows his example of fury in assault, concentrating on close-in weaponry supported by White Eagle’s fast reactions with storm bolter and power fist.

SPECIAL RULES Control room: The controls are in the square marked A. Any Marine in this square may spend 2AP to unlock the blast doors to the lower levels of the hulk. Biometric security: Genestealers may not open the door to the control room. Limited brood: Remove all but two blips marked 3 from the stack before you begin. Alone in the Dark: This deck is pitch black. Line of sight is reduced to 9 squares. ENDING THE MISSION If the Marine player unlocks the blast doors in 12 turns or less the Marine win.
