Davao International Container Terminal, Inc. (DICT) • The container terminal opened for business last May 2013 and declared commercial operations last January 2014.
• It is now the no.1 container terminal in Mindanao in terms of foreign container throughput and container vessel visits.
• Majority of the container cargo handled by DICT consists of fresh produce, such as fresh bananas and pineapples for export.
• DICT also maintains its breakbulk operation providing arrastre, stevedoring, cold storage and other services to vessels of Del Monte Fresh Produce. Davao International Container Terminal, Inc.

Berth 2 rehabilitation Rehabilitation of Berth 2 to be able to handle STS cranes:
1st phase – rehabilitation of the existing 140-meter breakbulk Berth 2 into another container terminal 2nd phase – rehabilitation of the 33-meter portion of existing breakbulk Berth 1 to become part of Berth 2 Upon completion, Berth 2 will be 173 meters long. Together with the 250-meter Berth 3, DICT will have a total berth length of 423 meters to accommodate 2 large container vessels.
