How To Identify Delay In Marriage Via Astrology 12/21/2015 | NAVEEN RANA | LEAVE A COMMENT In my last article I dealt with reasons for bad marriage, now current topic for today is Late Marriage.  Our classics have given various Planetry combination regarding age of marriage. These combination I won’t repeat here since it will be difficult for readers to apply them, rather I will mention  them in simple manner along with example chart.  As we all know for marriage primary house to be seen is 7th & its lord,along with that divisional chart D‑9 should be given equal weightage. Apart from 7th house, role of 8th & 12th house lord also have significant role in timely marriage.  Condition of karaka for marriage i.e Venus for male & Jupiter for female should be checked thoroughly.  Upapada & condition of Darakaraka should also be considered before concluding final result. Following Planetry allingments can give delay in marriage. 1.Placement of 7th house lord from ascendent in 6th,8th & 12th house.  2.Placement of 7th house lord from moon in 6th,8th & 12th house.  3.Placement of 7th house lord from Venus in 6th,8th,12th house  4.Placement of malefic planets viz Saturn,Mars,Rahu,Ketu & Sun.  5.Combustion of 7th lord.  6.7th house hemmed between malefic planets  7.7th house lord hemmed between malefic planets.  8. Debilited 7th house lord.  9.Retrograde 7th house lord.  10.Retrograde planets in 2nd & 7th house.  11.Afflicted Venus in navamsha.  12.Venus hemmed between malefics.  13.Venus in infertile signs like Gemini,Leo,Virgo.

Now we will check application of above mention points through example charts. Case‑1.  Native is a women in her mid thirties & is  unmarried despite her sincere efforts for a suitable Groom. Her engagement got broke once.

In her chart Venus is 7th lord,Moon is Darakaraka,Jupiter is Ganatikaraka. Upapada lagan is Pisces here.  Following observations were made in her chart which are responsible for delay in marriage.  1. 7th lord from ascendent Venus is with 6th lord Mercury & under aspect of Saturn.  Mercury is most malefic planet for Aries ascendent.  2.7th lord from Moon is Saturn and is in 12th from Moon.  3.7th lord from Venus is Jupiter and is afflicted by Saturn.  4.In Navamsha malefic Ketu is in 7th house  5.7th lord in Navamsha Chart is in 6th house with Saturn.  6.Saturn Jupiter Mars conjunction in Navamsha’s 6th house making Jupiter severely afflicted.  7.In main chart(D‑1) Jupiter is in 6th house.  8.Upapada lagan is aspected by malefics Saturn.  9.2nd lord from Upapada is Mars & is with malefic Sun.  10.2nd house lord from Upapada is aspected by malefic planet Ketu.

Following observation were made in her chart.  1.7th lord from Ascendent is having malefic planet Sun.  2.7th lord from Ascendent have malefic Mercury lord of 12th house.  3.Venus is afflicted by Saturn.  4.7th house from Moon is mercury which is present in 12th from Moon.  5.Ketu is aspecting her 7th house from Ascendent.  6.Rahu is aspecting 7th lord Saturn.  7.Jupiter is in 8th house in natal chart (D‑1). 8.In her Navamsha (D‑9),7th lord is aspected by Saturn.  9.Navamsha Ascendent is afflicted by 8th lord Moon.  10.Malefic Ketu is present in second from Upapada & is aspected by Rahu & Mars.  11.Upapada is aspected by Saturn.

Needless to say,a happy married life is a blessing from heaven. Importance of marriage in shaping a human life can’t be denied. Marriage is a union of two individuals who are committed to each in all kind of situations. There have been instances where a person was changed completely after marriage and  achieved huge success in life. Originally marriage stands for Dharma in human life,it brings stability in thoughts & actions,which leads to a better society hence a better Nation.  In current so called modern society, definition of marriage is changed now and sometimes marriages are being pursued just out of personal greeds. There is hardly any Dharma left. Divorces,domestic violence & cheating is very high.  All religions have given special  importance to marriage and have their own ideology when it comes to marriage.  As per Vedic Astrology analysis of married life is to be done from 7th house of main birth chart & Navamsha (D‑9).  As we all know navamsha(D‑9) chart is a precise version of  your main birth chart. Detailed  analysis on Navamsha Chart is done here. Remember D‑60 will reflect the same things as reflected in your main birth chart(d‑1) and Navmasha(d‑9).  Sometimes D‑60 can show different results then D‑1 & D‑9 and if it happens,then it means your missing some clues in D‑1 & D‑9.In Vedic Astrology all bad and good results will be reflected in revenant division charts & all matters can be Judged independently from D‑60 chart. Now we will check all these mentioned rules with an example birth chart.

Now in his chart, Upapada lagan is Pisces & second from Upapada is aspected by planet malefic planet Mars. Also as per Jamini astrology, Sun is Darakarka ( significator of marriage as per Jamini astrology). Jupiter is Ganatikaraka(significator for problems as per Jamini astrology). Darakarka Sun is with malefic planet Ketu & is aspected by Ganatikaraka Jupiter. All these mentioned factors resulted in marital disharmony in his life,though placement of Ascendent lord in 7th & aspect of 7th lord Sun on its own house gives him a beautiful wife,who herself is a doctor.  Same thing is confirmed by exalted Upapada lord Jupiter.
