D&D 5e Conditions B LINDED • Automatically fail any ability checks that require sight. • Your attacks have disadvantage, those targeting you have advantage.

C HARMED • Can't attempt to harm the charmer. • Charmer has advantage on ability checks to interact socially with you.

D EAFENED • Can't hear and automatically fail any ability check that requires hearing.

P ETRIFIED • You and everything non-magical you are wearing or carrying are turned into a solid inanimate substance (usually stone). Your total weight is multiplied by 10 and you cease aging. • Incapacitated, can't move or speak, and are unaware of your surroundings. • Attack rolls against you have advantage. • Automatically fail STR and DEX saves. • Have resistance to all damage. • Are immune to poison and disease, but any already in your system is suspended rather than nullified.

P OISONED • Have disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks.

P RONE

F RIGHTENED

• Only movement option is crawl.

• Have disadvantage on ability checks and attack rolls while source of fear is in sight.

• Have disadvantage on attack rolls.

• Can't willingly move closer to the source of fear.

• Attackers have advantage if within 5'; disadvantage otherwise.

G RAPPLED

R ESTRAINED

• Speed is 0, and can't be increased.

• Speed is 0, and can't be increased.

• Ends if grappler is incapacitated, or if you are forced out of its reach (by thunderwave, for instance).

• Your attacks have disadvantage, those targeting you have advantage. • Disadvantage on DEX saves.

I NCAPACITATED • Can't take actions or reactions.

S TUNNED • Incapacitated, can't move, and speak only falteringly.

I NVISIBLE

• Automatically fail STR and DEX saves.

• Impossible to see without magic or a special sense. Count as heavily obscured for the purposes of hiding. Location can still be detected by tracks or noises you make.

• Attacks targeting you have advantage.

• Your attacks have advantage, those targeting you have disadvantage.

U NCONSCIOUS • Incapacitated, can't move or speak, and are unaware of your surroundings.

P ARALYZED

• Drop whatever you are holding and fall prone.

• Incapacitated and can't move or speak.

• Automatically fail STR and DEX saves.

• Automatically fail STR and DEX saves.

• Attacks targeting you have advantage.

• Attack rolls against you have advantage.

• Successful attacks against you are critical if the attacker is within 5'.

• Successful attacks against you are critical if the attacker is within 5'.
