Para Para esta esta cáted cátedra ra,, todo todo trabaj trabajoo de comp compren rensió siónn e interpretación interpretación de un texto en otra lengua, supone supone que el lector active diversos conocimiento conocimientoss (tanto sobre el mundo en general como sobre la lengua en sí) y emplee diferentes procedimientos cognitivos que le permitan “asignarle significado a lo que lee”. El trabajo en sí es un verdadera hermeneusis, porque se trabaja en círculos: desde lo más amplio y general (experiencia del lector y conocimientos previos) a los detalles más pequeños del texto (léxico, aspectos lingüísticos, etc.). El trabajo de aula se basa en tres núcleos organizadores:
1. Estrategias de lectura : nos permiten leer eficientemente y dependen del tipo de texto que necesitemos leer. 2. Dimensión discursiva Considera el texto como discurso: todo texto cumple una función social o pragmática (divulgar conocimientos, instruir, entretener, etc.) y según su función o propósito se ORGANIZA de distintos modos. Conocer esa macro-organización optimiza la lectura porque sabemos dónde buscar la información que necesitamos. A su vez, esa ORGANIZACIÓN está articulada y sostenida por elementos discursivos que nos sirven para entender las relaciones entre cada parte del texto y aquellas palabras que son verdaderas señales o indicios sobre cómo discurre un argumento y cómo desea el autor que se interprete lo que dice. 3. Dimensión lingüística Referida a la gramática. Básicamente se trabaja el reconocimiento de las palabras, su formación , su ubicación en una frase u oración, la estructura de la frase y de las oraciones, sus usos, y las diferencias en significado que se derivan de las diferentes estructuras y tipos de oración. UNIDAD 1 Advertencia: si bien aquí los temas se presentan por separado, en la clase se los trabaja en forma integrada
TEXTO: En este curso trabajaremos la noción de texto a partir de la definición de Teun van Dijk (1978) (cabe aclarar que otros lingüistas prefieren el término discurso ) Etimológicamente texto se refiere a un tejido de palabras . Según van Dijk, para que haya texto debemos percibirlo como una unidad de significado , es decir debe refirirse refirirse a un tema o tópico tópico y ser coherente y cohesivo .
Coherencia : se refiere a la relación de la totalidad del texto en sí y por ello hablamos de la progresión y de la adecuación entre tipo de texto, formato y propósito como elementos que dotan de temática, y coherencia a la vez que sirven de índices para la clase de lectura que realizaremos. Cohesión : está dada por las relaciones que hacen que el texto posea el entramado propio de un tejido. Hay dos clases básicas de cohesión: 1. Cohesión Gramatical: Referencia : Es la sustitución de un sustantivo por un pronombre. En la referencia existe total identidad entre el sustantivo y el pronombre que lo reemplaza. Conectores : Señalan las relaciones entre oraciones y párrafos. Tiempos Verbales : Marcan la secuencia de los hechos. Elipsis : Es la omisión de un elemento estructural, que puede ser recuperado mediante la relación entre el elemento omitido y algo ya mencionado en el texto. 2. Cohesión Lexical: Está dada por el uso de palabras generales o generalizadoras (flor - rosa), repetición lexical, sinonimia ( delgado delgado - flaco), antonimia (frío - calor)

Los distintos formatos (libro, diario, revista, entre otros) que toma el texto escrito utilizan distintos y variados paratextos paratextos (índices, (índices, volantas, volantas, títulos, contra tapas, primera plana, datos de autor/es, autor/es, de edición, etc.) que se interrelacionan con los modos de lectura que se deben desplegar para cada uno de ellos.
Todo proceso de comprensión textual implica llevar a cabo una serie de operaciones cognitivas de distinta complejidad: anticipación del tema del texto y de la función textual (informar, apelar al destinatario, obligarlo a algo, contactar, etc.), búsqueda en la memoria y selección de la información que tiene el lector y que se relaciona con la que supone que le va a aportar el texto, y puesta en relación de ambos tipos de informaciones (la del lector y la del texto). Los elementos paratextuales orientan orientan y ayudan al lector en las distintas operaciones; operaciones; es por esto que quien se enfrenta enfrenta a un texto no parte de cero, sino de una primera representación semántica, una hipótesis, que luego se irá reformulando durante la lectura.
Posible clasificación de los paratextos según distintos criterios. La contratapa (blurb) no suele ser el paratexto más fiable en cuanto a la información que brinda, dado que su función primordial es influir sobre los posibles compradores. Sin embargo, aporta algunos datos sobre el contenido, el autor y su obra. Lo hace con el objetivo de persuadir y, por lo tanto, en muchas ocasiones incluye opiniones extraídas de reseñas (reviews) sobre el libro (obviamente, de aquellas que hacen una evaluación positiva).

ESTRATEGIAS ESTRATEGIAS COGNITIVAS Y DE LECTURA Lectura con hipótesis Los paratextos ayudan y guían el abordaje de un texto escrito. A través de ellos, el lector, ya antes de género , campo comenzar la lectura, propone una serie de hipótesis acerca de qué es lo que va a leer: género del saber al que pertenece el libro, tema , etc. En ese sentido, lo primero que se observa en un libro es la tapa, integrada por una serie de marcas icónicas (ilustraciones , logotipo de la colección a la que género , etc.). CLASIFICACIÓN: SUSTANTIVOS CONTABLES /INCONTABLES •
Una clasificación importante en inglés es de sustantivos que se pueden contar por unidades y que se los denomina COUNT (CONTABLES), es decir sustantivos que se tienen una forma de singular y otra de plural como en: a chair – 3 chairs / a student – 20 student s – a belief / many beliefs.
